I really enjoy watching and listening to these videos. I am new to this channel, so please forgive me if it was answered in another video before. I just wanted to know, what type of monkey this is.
Do lots of research, before getting a primate!! They do not make good pets at all.. Also it's like having an infant for 30 years, that's 30yrs of changing diapers.. .. these monkeys pet owners don't have regular 9-5 jobs cause you cant leave them alone..
Do plenty of research first please!! You'll have an infant for 30 years, 30 years of changing of diapers if you can handle it when it hits puberty.. which they will then double or triple in strength and weight!! They are very expensive, also Good luck finding a vet that will treat it.. Good Luck!! I'd highly suggest not getting one as a pet.. this monkey was taught to groom by its mother or other monkeys.. if you get a baby it will not groom you just cause you want it to, it had to have had that knowledge passed down..
Lip smacking is a social behavior that usually results in friendly interactions between monkeys in a social group. Often, a monkey will lip smack to a more dominant monkey as a sign of submission. You might also see monkeys lip smacking to one another after having a disagreement as a way of apologizing and making sure all is forgiven. It can also be a sign of affection or contentment.
