      Strange "homeopathic" cures from "doctors" weren't that uncommon, there was a doctor who actually had men who waited their turn to get goats gonads transferred into their sack for virility. 😮

    When I lived in OK, I visited this hotel and Eureka Springs multiple times. If you are in a neighboring state it is well worth the drive! A very beautiful, historic place built on granite rock with most buildings on the historic registry. The best time is the last week of Oct when the fall leaves are so brilliant in that area.

    Yay! Hardly anyone does videos about Eureka Springs and The Crescent. I am an hour and a half south of there and its one of mine and my husbands favorite places in our state. The entire town is haunted, but the Crescent....is a WHOLE other place. Im sensitive to ghosts and spirits and the energy is so strong that I felt like I was having a panic attack as soon as I walked up to the doors. I had an incident up on the roof where that young woman jumped/was pushed. I got sick and felt extremely uneasy (Im not scared of heights) and told my husband that I need to get TF off of there. I didnt know at the time that, that was the spot where that happened. Its a beautiful place though. To add on....they possibly have a more "recent" ghost because of an accident that occured in 2017. A man fell over the banister of the second or third floor.

      Thanks for appreciating the video and sharing your personal experiences. It’s truly a beautiful place, I felt similar vibes when I went to the lighthouse in St Augustine. I’m usually okay with the ghost tours and stuff and do them for fun but something about that place just made me feel weird and that was before the creepy stories. Thank you for also providing the update, I didn’t come across that in my research.

    TV show Ghost Hunters caught a full body apparition on camera in the basement at the doorway to the morgue. It was a young soldier wearing his uniform with a military cap on his head.
    Same episode, they interviewed a local medium, and had a FLIR (infrared) camera going. As the medium was giving Jason a televised reading, a red energy began to flow from Jason to the medium, not visible except on the FLIR. As it approached the medium, a simple hand gesture brought the red energy to the floor and it never touched the medium. Jason admitted the reading was becoming just a bit too personal, and he was anxiously wishing for it to stop. Amazing episode!

      I was the maintenance man there for three years in 1982 & as part of salary they gave me one of the rooms to live in way down in the basement two doors from the “morgue” I never witnessed anything strange down there, as a maintenance man, I was on every floor & in every nook & granny of that place 24/7, never experienced anything. I was there when the management started talking about promoting the “haunted” hotel & what they could conceive to make it more scary so people would pay to come there. Their scheme must have worked because they have seen ghosts & whatever there for a while now. The ghost tours are designed to hype people up so bad they see & hear anything, the management has worked hard to make it the most haunted hotel in America, If you repeat a lie often enough, people come to believe it.

    I just visited this hotel yesterday, I had no idea it was one of the most haunted hotels in America! I was visiting with my family, and though we did not stay the night, I could feel a very ominous sensation. As we went from ground level to the fourth floor, and walked through many different hallways, I always had the feeling I was being watched. I made sure to be respectful and mindful of these spirits, and let them know that they are free to roam around. When I came home I definitely thought I had brought something back with me, but I felt better after going to bed. It was definitely a unique experience!

      I visited this hotel because we had taken a trip down to Eureka Springs for the day and my dad had the bright idea to finally visit it. I had no previous knowledge of the place nor did I really want to be there haha, I guess it was just my dad’s curiosity that got the better of him! :)

    • @riggs20
      @riggs20 3 місяці тому

      @@Joobebe514 Oh, ok. So they let people take a tour of it because it is a historic building?
      That’s what I was getting confused about. Because like I don’t think your average Holiday Inn would let people just visit and walk around! 😃
      Did your dad know it was haunted? Did he have any weird feelings afterwards like you did? I find the building so interesting but don’t think I could ever spend the night there! 👻

    • @Joobebe514
      @Joobebe514 3 місяці тому +1

      Yep! Since it’s historic and a very important piece to the history of Eureka Springs, the hotel allows visitors to explore the hotel, you can even take paranormal/ghost tours even if you’re not staying the night! The hotel also has a spa and salon that you can visit during the day. My dad had known about this hotel for a while from a family friend, it was only until recent that he was finally able to go inside! I’m guessing he knew something about it being haunted, but maybe he kept it quiet in front of me because he knows I don’t like scary stuff lol. And also when I talked to my mom about the hotel she mentioned that some of our cousins actually helped in the restoration of the hotel a long time ago!

There was a few of these places in NJ, when there was tuberculosis in big cities the heat and crowed living in apt people’s would go to stay at spas & springs for a cure. Even healthy people would stay in some of these places with all types of quacks with cures. Part of the concern was that it was an INVISIBLE cat at times. They could hear him and feel him. My sister met Morris both before and after his death. She said he was delightful to play with in the fur, and it didn't bother her to have him brush up against her. During his first days at the hotel, people could see him brush up against invisible legs. The hotel owners said they were OK with him greeting those guests, since they trusted him to only ask for pets from good ghosts. Afterwards, he seemed to settle in with his friend group among the living and the dead, and didn't cause any concerns.

    In regards to Norman, who passed in 1958 at the Sanitarium in Battle Creek, Michigan.
    The Sanitarium (now The Federal Building), was opened up by John Kellogg; yes, the same Kellogg who founded Kellogg’s Cereal Company, opened the Sanitarium as a health center operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Kellogg was the chief medical doctor there.
    Back in the mid 1990’s, I worked 3rd shift security at the Federal Center (formerly the Sanitarium); we all knew that only the 6th floor of the building was haunted. 👻
    While watching this video, it made me wonder if Norman was one of the spirits who made his ghostly spirit known.🫤
    Just information for the ‘gee wiz’ file 😊

    Interesting that the "most haunted room" of this hotel is room 218, while the "most haunted room" in The Stanley Hotel (at least, according to The Shining by Stephen King) is room 217. I guess ghosts just like to be on the second floor, close to the elevators.

    Hello 🤗 I have a video suggestion on a case that is a little close to me and wanted to know if you would consider doing one. I knew both parties involved and it just threw me for a loop and broke my heart. It's the murder of Renae Benittie on January 29/2023 in Columbus Ohio by Gene Scott. It not only broke my heart but left my husband and myself in such confusion and still in disbelief. Thank you for your time and I look forward to watching your videos. You are so understanding and thoughtful and respectful and although you have a opinion (like myself) you don't push it that's why I am asking you to do the video. 🙋🏻‍♀️
