I think it's great you are making this road worthy Randy. There's no point in it sitting in a garage for another decade being ignored when someone (you?) could enjoy it on the open road. I'll watch all the Sema Stang videos you make.
People lose sight that this car was built to showcase builders products and skills. Any driving it did could be measured in a few yards and mostly from the trailer to the display area and back. Never intended to be driven daily and when the car outlived it's usefulness to attract viewers it was dealt the same fate all show cars face. It went into a car collection or storage and was forgotten much like your 1969 Chevelle 396.
That rubber insulator happend to me also...what i did was just take a piece of water hose that fit on the spring...and painted it black and put a tad bit of grease on the first coil and put the hose on it...been 30,000 miles since i did that and no problems whatsoever...no sqeaks no nothing...just in case you run into that problem again randy if you choose to do that...greeting from Puerto Rico...love your vids
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds anytime my friend...watch your vids all the time and enjoy them... I also put another comment for you giving you part# and MPN# for the catless pipe
Hey Randy, Stang looks great! I have a 2013 GT Premium and wanted to upgrade from the factory Xenons - I got the Morimoto XB LED headlights and they are a HUGE upgrade from stock. If you keep the car longer-term, highly recommend, bright DRL and low/high beams work great, and they are plug and play - you can get them through American Muscle.
This car is a beauty, here in Portugal you dont see this like zero and this is like almoust 1 of a kind. I'm happy you not going cheap, she deserves nice and good parts. Continue the good videos !
Great job, I don't care for those rims either. Surprised the rear is not independent. Coil springs are made from different types of steel with different spring rates so in their case size does not matter. LOL The look is awesome man !
Love seeing the SEMA 'stang on your channel, glad you're saving it. I have a 2013 Mustang GT I bought new that's been a track/autocross car since day one (some videos on my channel). My car has custom coilovers with double adjustable shocks (and an assortment of 11 pairs of springs to choose from lol) so they certainly have their place, but I think you made the right decision for a street car. Keep up the good work!
Like the new struts match the brakes great! absolutely love this mustang! I like the ride height better now! I’m surprised it’s not more popular i love it!
I prefer the factory stance look as well...The first thing I did with one of the mustangs I owned was to "de lower" it and put factory springs back on it. I was easily able to sell the parts because plenty of folks like the lowered look. Not having to worry about scraping at every parking lot ramp is a good feeling. Keep all your old parts so when you're ready to sell it, someone may want to put it back to how you originally purchased it.
Hey Randy enjoying the content glad to hear your shoulder is feeling better!! I tried without any luck of locating downpipes without cats…. If I do come across something I’ll drop you a line….
Randy the car was built for show not go like the changes it will drive and ride better glad to see you fixing up your uncle house you and mike doing a great job later
I agree with you, the new springs look much better. I also like a drivable car that don’t require stopping at speed bumps. I don’t like the rear tire offset either, just asking for tire rub, been there done that. I actually am not to crazy about the wheels in general. I,prefer more old school style wheels.
That looks much better, coil overs are the worst thing ever invented for a daily driver, they are only for posers. Much better without the front splitter. Great video exactly what I want to see more of.
That was a good idea replacing these shocks and randy is not just going to replace parts for no reason and if this was my car l will do the same also randy always use the best parts.
I just bought a 2014 mustang gt that the previous owner put coil overs on....can't wait to get that trash off the car. Your car looks way better and the ride quality will be like night and day.
The SEMA Stang looks good without whale splinter know it the purpose @ SEMA show 10 years ago but not something u want to deal with driving daily so good call Randy on raising it up little bit.
I like it without splitter. I would personally raise it even. Especially the back. A car should drive over a gravel road with a bump in the middle without problems.
Considering how many wrecked Mustangs are out there,( and the number goes up every day!) should be able to find seats and downpipes that will work for you without too much problem?
Mustang is awesome Randy, What a car for the money. Nice choice on the red accents bro "sweet" & hopefully makes the stang a little more useful for the streets. IMO the stance is great. Appreciate the stang 🎬 video. Salute Randy 🔥🔥🚘🤘😎
Randy, you are doing a fantastic job with the content of your channel. it just gets better and better. I love the videos of your Uncle's house and I look forward to the next one to see the progress. thanks Randy 💯
If you want to drive it you should keep the catalytic converters to keep it legal. You might get away with not having them here in Oklahoma but not on UA-cam you might have keep them.
Are my eyes deceiving me or are there 20s on back and 18s on front Staggered? Maccoo. Could mask off the front and repaint the vents and stuff on the front.
Enjoyed the video Randy 😊, I was able to have my funds returned from the scammer that pretended to be your channel. I’ll always be a supporter of your channel!
People don't realize that alot of those SEMA builds are done for looks or to highlight a companies product...... alot of those vehicles are not very practical for daily driving.....
that thing was way to low you did good with the new suspension parts the car needs to be driven and enjoyed please be careful with the lift safety first.
I'm still trying to get something here to get there. To meet you and every one else to. I'm playing on moving there as well. Portland Oregon sucks. I have been here for 54 years. It's time to move on. Please wish me luck.
Fab Rats can build you a set of down pipes,, or just about any muffler shop in your area,, An exhaust shop in Portland put a whole siamese exhaust system in my small block Ford powered Datsun pickup,,, :-)
I think it's great you are making this road worthy Randy. There's no point in it sitting in a garage for another decade being ignored when someone (you?) could enjoy it on the open road. I'll watch all the Sema Stang videos you make.

100% drivability improvement right there
"Support your pumpkin!!" Words to live by!! You should put that on a t shirt!

I had to rewind and turn the volume up because I thought you said you were going to call it the semen stain...I'm so relieved. 🤣
Great job, I don't care for those rims either. Surprised the rear is not independent. Coil springs are made from different types of steel with different spring rates so in their case size does not matter. LOL The look is awesome man !
Happy Thanksgiving Randy and family! And all the AAR fans!!! 🦃❤️🤘🏽

My car needs front struts as well. Watching you wrenching I feel like ordering mine and getting to it as well
Niceeee 🤘🏽🔥 love the upgrades! The splitter needed to be removed, now it can be driven 🤘🏽🔥
I would not have thought the mustang had a solid rear axle. Learn something new everyday!
The Sema Mustang is awesome. The changes you are making will make it a better daily driver. The rear wheels do stick too far out.
Like the new struts match the brakes great! absolutely love this mustang! I like the ride height better now! I’m surprised it’s not more popular i love it!
Happy Holidays my friend. Like what you did with the wheels.
I honestly think it looks better with the new suspension. Wasn't a huge fan of the splitter either, so it looks really good now.
Another great content on this mustang. The upgrades is a definite must. 👍
Hey Randy! I love the new stance. It is more practical now. I love your videos, keep up the good work!
I hope randy gives the new owner all the parts he is taking off so if they choose they can restore it back to its sema glory
Nope.
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds 🤣🤣🤣
show car glory that sat for ... a decade? much rather have a daily-drivable car, every time.
Coilovers isn't something I'd downgrade from lol. They sale coilover tools.
Nope trash can
personally i love the Sema Stang! i really hope you decide to keep it for a while!!
Loving the build so far! Personally I like the car without coilovers, but the splitter added a nice touch!
Finally get to watch your videos had a long day delivering packages for Amazon now I’m here
Loving the Sema Stang Randy, keep it going as I think looks great! Look forward to the next instalment, all the best from the uk

Randy you are so lucky 😮
That mustang is very nice and sounds Great!
Randy the car was built for show not go like the changes it will drive and ride better glad to see you fixing up your uncle house you and mike doing a great job later
Great video randy,I am so glad to see all this progress on the mustang, happy turkey day randy🦃🥧🇺🇸
I would never sell that car love the Chanel randy and the new content
In the middle of watchn your show!! "GREAT CALL-"CAT"LESS....Would be the way i would go..Restrict "Exhaust Gas's-
I agree with you, the new springs look much better.

Randy I think the mustang looks so much better with what you did.
Hey Randy, I was a treat! Can’t wait to see you install the new seats! I hope you keep this beauty for. A while in fact a long time
I think it looks great! Good job Randy!
Glad you got the Roush seats! Awesome Mustang! She’s a keeper!
Hello Randy. The 2011 Sema build Ford Mustang is looking awesome. Let's see how she's going to look after all the new stuff on her.
All the bolts you removed when you replace the struts are non-adjustable. So you should not need an alignment
Good choice in struts. I had H&R springs on my Taurus SHO. It rode like a wagon
I really hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. And rocky to.
Thank you.
Dem new springs are Beefy!!!
Oh boy the red looks awesome on this mustang.
I think it looks better with this stance, looks natural and still nice and low enough :)
Randy you should get a go pro and a head or chest mount for when you are working ont cars and stuff you could show us more
Those springs remind me of being a little boy like a baby Vs being a big boy there's just no comparison 🤣
mustang gt is my dream car 😍😍
Randy I love watching the Sema mustang I hope to more videos on the Sema mustang and your uncles house !
That was a good idea replacing these shocks and randy is not just going to replace parts for no reason and if this was my car l will do the same also randy always use the best parts.
I love auto auction rebuilds is my favorite show please keep up the new videos coming!
It looks great. Better than tearing it up. Sweet car.
I just bought a 2014 mustang gt that the previous owner put coil overs on....can't wait to get that trash off the car. Your car looks way better and the ride quality will be like night and day.
That wouldn't be a good idea randy the bottom of the bumper will not have any support.
It's great how it's sitting
The SEMA Stang looks good without whale splinter know it the purpose @ SEMA show 10 years ago but not something u want to deal with driving daily so good call Randy on raising it up little bit.
one all the bits are sorted out, and with its history in a magazine feature its possibly good enough for the Barrett-Jackson auction.
Looks very much better I really like it
Randy, the car looks great. Nice work.😊
Randy I like the new stuts and shock it will ride much better
Great video randy,I am so glad to see all this progress on the mustang
Great work and a awsome car🔥😎
Yeah also i would almost keep that Air Damn!! Flows and Captures more Air!! Would probly "Keep the "Engine Cooler
I like it without splitter. I would personally raise it even. Especially the back. A car should drive over a gravel road with a bump in the middle without problems.

I really hope rubber duck Mike gets that car behind you running and driving.

Randy, you are doing a fantastic job with the content of your channel. it just gets better and better. I love the videos of your Uncle's house and I look forward to the next one to see the progress. thanks Randy 💯
coilovers are typically skinnier than comparable struts, but man those springs look reallyyy on the wimpy side
If you want to drive it you should keep the catalytic converters to keep it legal. You might get away with not having them here in Oklahoma but not on UA-cam you might have keep them.
Mustang is looking good!
This good car bro
Amazing video randy!
Thank you
Looks way better that is a sweet car
The red looks better than the blue plus better ride
Are my eyes deceiving me or are there 20s on back and 18s on front Staggered? Maccoo. Could mask off the front and repaint the vents and stuff on the front.
Enjoyed the video Randy 😊, I was able to have my funds returned from the scammer that pretended to be your channel. I’ll always be a supporter of your channel!
Leave the splitter now that it is raised up. But it looks better.
Love love love that mustang
Eric the Car Guy uses the more generic "fastener" to avoid the bolt and nut controversy.
It was a lot of fun helping you work on the Stang! Thanks again for having me down, was a ton of fun.
Stance is much, much better!
you made her better Randy!
Love your videos randy. Long time subscriber. I hope your family had a great Thanksgiving!
Very cool look . I would increase it another inch
Nice Randy 💯💯 appreciate you
My dream car
I'm sorry to tell you that replacing the QA1 rear shocks was probably a mistake.... they are awsome shocks . . .
I’m good with it.
People don't realize that alot of those SEMA builds are done for looks or to highlight a companies product...... alot of those vehicles are not very practical for daily driving.....
that thing was way to low you did good with the new suspension parts the car needs to be driven and enjoyed please be careful with the lift safety first.
Put a wide body fenders on it!!!! Let's see ya do some body work!!!
If your not going to race the mustang, that front splitter is for show only ....... IMHO, it looks better without it!!
I'm still trying to get something here to get there. To meet you and every one else to. I'm playing on moving there as well. Portland Oregon sucks. I have been here for 54 years. It's time to move on. Please wish me luck.
Good luck my best friend. I'm on a fix income. So wish me luck please.
Fab Rats can build you a set of down pipes,, or just about any muffler shop in your area,, An exhaust shop in Portland put a whole siamese exhaust system in my small block Ford powered Datsun pickup,,, :-)
Good friends are hard to come by these days. Shout out to MWM.
Great content.
