One is haunted by their past. The other is haunted by their future. Both embrace who they've become, and move forward to show the world the monsters it created.

If all he wanted was his freedom, he could’ve stopped in chapter 131. If all he wanted was to save Paradis, he could’ve stopped at 130. If all he wanted was to save his friends, he also only had to stop at 131. But Eren wanted to do more, he wanted to wipe the whole world clean despite not needing to. Not to mention he needed to end the Titan curse, which could only be achieved through Mikasa making the choice to kill him. He had several goals with varying levels of importance to him. But in no way were all of those goals necessary, they were simply what he wanted.
Jinx : "She thought everyone wanted to be her enemy" Eren : "doesn't want to be the enemy But he has to be the enemy" Two different characters but are on the same path.
@skips it's what eren felt that he *needed* to do. eren figured that if everybody else that's not eldian isn't fucking dead then eldia will never be free from this war that's been going on for however many years it has been. no, eren wasn't forced; but it's definitely *not* what he wanted. eren has always knew that this path was wrong, but that doesn't stop him. he feels that he knows what has to be done. yeah no shit it's not what he HAD to do, but you a man's beliefs are a man's beliefs. if he thinks that he needed to kill off the entire rest of the world, then that's wtf he thought.
Not sure if this fits Eren. If he is to achieve his goals then he has to kill all of his friends including Mikasa and Armin. So he does have something to lose here
Favourite part has got to be the 4:20, the quieted music slowly building up into the enraged roar, added with the 'coming for you' between Eren and Jinx screaming is absolutely fantastic. One of the very few mashups that work shockingly well when done right! Kudos to you Andy!!

Chilling how each character is perfectly represented, Jinx by 'Everybody wants to be my enemy', Eren in Part 1 by the confused and chaotic My War and him in Part 2, who has accepted the future by 'It's coming, the rumbling'
The mashup itself is crazy amazing and accompanied by these well-cut visuals is just another level. It really links the similarities between the two characters from two different shows.
Dpedro the guy saved his people and if he didn't all of his people on the island would slowly be killed out he was the evil the people needed to save them. Erin could have took eveyone else's titan powers stoping anyone to be able to stop him from the rumbling but he didn't because he wanted eveyone to kill him so they would show the world they want peace he sacrificed himself (and a few hundred) for world peace I think anyone would take that even if it was for 100,000 lives
My two favorite shows of all time, Jinx, a slave of the past, and Eren, a slave of the future, they are so similar, and the intro songs are the best work together!

These mental problems can make people do shit without thinking so I don't know what you're on about "victim card all the time". A kid was born in a fucked up world and grown fucked up because of it.

It’s what Mylo called her, and said she Jinx’s every job. Her adopting that name shows how she knows how much of a fuck up she is. Jinx choosing to push Vi away at the end was a smart move because she realizes how far she’s gone and she can’t fix that. This was after she accidentally Silco, her other father figure, because she knows she’ll end up hurting her sister like everyone else. So no, Jinx does not play the victim.

Why it sounds so good?!! Listening to them separately gave me a lot of adrenaline but combining them was a great idea to give me a cardiac arrest and the background with jinx and Eren fits perfectly un summary a masterpiece!!💯
This is so incredible, but the one detail that actually made my jaw drop was the very end. The exact moment when Jinx and the Colossal Titan step down, and in BOTH instances it results in a crushed butterfly. I remember watching Arcane and definitely getting some similar vibes to Attack on Titan, but boy the similarities REALLY run deep
No. One is a brilliant nice person who has been turned insane. The other is a boy who will do EVERYTHING and ANYTHING to attain freedom for most importantly himself, and his friends.

I love how good Shinsei Kamattechan's "My War" and Imagine Dragons' "Enemy" sounded mixed together, with a little touch of "The Rumbling" by SiM. But what's even, even better, it's seeing the parallels between Eren Jaeger and Powder/Jinx, they are different, but so much the same at the same time. 100/100 to AnDyWuMUSICLAND, you are a crack and a genius in this music video.
Honestly one of the coolest mashups I have EVER seen. The audio is magnificent by itself, but the visuals?? The parallels! Got chills at the final scream.

Jinx is chaotic while Eren is orderly. Everything Eren did was part of his master plan while Jinx was impulsive and did whatever she felt like. Eren was a prisoner of his own future while Jinx chose to be a killer.

This means that the future is set an cannot be changed. So Eren realized that it means that it is impossible to be fully free. Think about how depressed that would make him. Jinx and Eren are so different, but both traumatized in different capacities and even tho they are so different, they are both the monsters their world created

at their hearts, both eren and jinx were definitely people who were powerless for most of their upbringing and become full on terrorists that directly and significantly impact their societies by the end of their respective universes. great character development honestly i love em! first of all, massive spoiler warning for both arcane and aot. i love both these shows, and if you havent seen them yet, i highly recommend them. 10/10 for both, albeit for different reasons. honestly i think that eren in his current state (in the anime, anyways - i havent read the manga so i cant speak for him in the final final arc) would certainly understand jinx if they got to know each other, but they really wouldnt get along with each other. eren knows exactly what its like to feel betrayed and to have the world at one's neck, and jinx has experienced it to the point that her mind has fractured, but the main difference that i see is that jinx doesnt seem to fully understand/appreciate the nuances of that kind of situation: for example, shes unable to accept that her sister still, and always, truly loved her, even after everything she had done. and i think that while jinx/powder probably knows that there are good people in the world, if she does, she chooses to ignore that fact because it would be inconvenient to her and how she treats her own struggles. she lashes out at her world because shes pissed at it. no other reason necessary. eren, on the other hand, definitely does understand the fact that his world is not completely full of shit: he even lived right alongside his sworn enemies for who knows how long. however, he still chooses to ignore this because he sees his plan as the only way out for his people. yes, hes also fucking pissed, but he seems to see his actions as only creating necessary casualties for his goals. that is all. nothing personal against the good people of his world, even if everything personal against his enemies. imo eren's and jinx's personalities and worldviews just too starkly contrast each other for them to actually like each others' company, despite how many similarities the two have in terms of their backstories. that and idk how well eren would deal with someone whos actually losing their marbles, or how well jinx would deal with someone whos effectively just silco again, but thus time actually willing to sacrifice a daughter.

Jinx does not play the victim, her adopting the name Jinx is proof of that. She obviously feels regret for killing her foster family, and she realized how she fucked up. It’s what Mylo called her, and said she Jinx’s every job. Her adopting that name shows how she knows how much of a fuck up she is. Jinx choosing to push Vi away at the end was a smart move because she realizes how far she’s gone and she can’t fix that. This was after she accidentally Silco, her other father figure, because she knows she’ll end up hurting her sister like everyone else. So no, Jinx does not play the victim.

Again i agree that she's a tragic figure, i just disagree with how Eren and jinx are being compared. Eren was never the devil, completely innocent (Until where the Zeke Eren Paths arc but that is still not his fault, the world is trying to kill him for existing, he is merely defending himself and his friends) While Jinx has no one but herself to blame for her current state, sure she had it bad but i would have considered that if she was not the murderer of her family and potential peace for Piltover and Zaun. and she wouldnt hurt her sister either if she stopped acting like a stupid brat but i understand your point on shes too far gone.

first of all, massive spoiler warning for both arcane and aot. i love both these shows, and if you havent seen them yet, i highly recommend them. 10/10 for both, albeit for different reasons.
honestly i think that eren in his current state (in the anime, anyways - i havent read the manga so i cant speak for him in the final final arc) would certainly understand jinx if they got to know each other, but they really wouldnt get along with each other. eren knows exactly what its like to feel betrayed and to have the world at one's neck, and jinx has experienced it to the point that her mind has fractured, but the main difference that i see is that jinx doesnt seem to fully understand/appreciate the nuances of that kind of situation: for example, shes unable to accept that her sister still, and always, truly loved her, even after everything she had done. and i think that while jinx/powder probably knows that there are good people in the world, if she does, she chooses to ignore that fact because it would be inconvenient to her and how she treats her own struggles. she lashes out at her world because shes pissed at it. no other reason necessary.
eren, on the other hand, definitely does understand the fact that his world is not completely full of shit: he even lived right alongside his sworn enemies for who knows how long. however, he still chooses to ignore this because he sees his plan as the only way out for his people. yes, hes also fucking pissed, but he seems to see his actions as only creating necessary casualties for his goals. that is all. nothing personal against the good people of his world, even if everything personal against his enemies.
imo eren's and jinx's personalities and worldviews just too starkly contrast each other for them to actually like each others' company, despite how many similarities the two have in terms of their backstories. that and idk how well eren would deal with someone whos actually losing their marbles, or how well jinx would deal with someone whos effectively just silco again, but thus time actually willing to sacrifice a daughter.
