- Holaaaaaa! So since i've been in spain for the last 2 weeks, I thought i'd pop back with an easy listening Spanish tutorial video.
Not particularly happy with how it turned out, the mic positioning wasn't ideal for the audio quality i'm used to delivering and the board I used obstructed a little too much light (rip green screen) Hopefully you can still enjoy it :D

ASMR is essentially a made up acronym (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response ) used to describe that tingly / buzzing feeling you may have experienced in your head or running down your spine. The sensation can be triggered by personal attention, tutorials, sounds etc. If you are discovering "ASMR" videos for the first time, their primary purpose is just to relax and almost always to send the listener to sleep.
Two things:
1.) I thought the Spanish used in this video was eloquent and impeccably pronounced. Your mastery of the language is evident.
2.) I don’t know any Spanish.

As a person that speaks Portuguese and had Spanish classes fr 3 years at school, I know that latin languages pronounciation are quite difficult for non-native speakers. And, goodness! I'm totally amazed with your pronounciation! It's pretty rare to find people that are english, german, scotish etc that had great Spanish/Portuguese pronounciation!

As a native Spanish speaker, I feel so happy when I see people trying to use or learn this language, I really had a good time (and still) trying to learn English, and I want people to feel the same way with Spanish. Thanks a lot for the video Matt, and your pronunciation is amazing!

Hey Matt, I'm from Argentina and I wanted to say that your spanish is very good, but you had a bit of a mistake when you were saying "No muy bien". Actually, when we feel bad we just say "I feel bad", or "Me siento mal" in proper spanish. The way you pronounced "No muy bien" actually sounded like you were good, but doing a funny face while saying it :P

Spain is my favorite country! I went there to study flamenco but I don't speak the language well and have always said that when I go back, I want to be able to pass for a local. I'm very far away but thanks for this relaxing and informative video!

Am I the only one who thinks he is on his lunch break at work, whispering so he does not get caught recording? If I taught Spanish like that to me students they'll fall asleep I'm sure! And the camera is so close you can hear his clothes folding quite loudly. I this he's very sweet. Quite sexy voice as it is as if he was whispering in your ears. His Spanish accent is ok but should make the T less explosive and the D less of an R sound in my opinion. Like when he says tostadas at the end. But he's sweet and obviously very popular so carry on amigo! It made me smile in a nice way! Well done. I love that you think my language and country are beautiful. I agree. Muchas gracias.

Asmr is intended specifically to help relax and sleep, so if my class started to doze off, I'd be very pleased :D (and also grateful so I could stop teaching and butchering your beautiful language!) I didn't speak a word of Spanish before this video and that probably shows, I just learned the phrases for the video :)

Im Colombian, and in the "No muy bien" phrase you change completely the meaning of it because of the pause you did between NO and MUY BIEN, you should say it straight, without pause, but youre not bad :)
