Nice clear demo Nigel. Although, a quick dry top and a gortex layer brings instant comfort also I find, thanks for sharing your innovative and practical solutions, they are indeed helpful. Cheers. Harry
Hi Harry. Thank you for watching and commenting once again. There is nothing like a quick rub down and a new dry t-shirt or vest. stay safe. ATB. Nigel
Nice tip Nigel ask the wife to carry it , job done ! . Alice pack is my main pack in which I have a towel material for good measure. Have a good weekend. Atb Darren
Good idea Nigel. Excellent idea, well explained. I've done something similar with my Virtus rucksack, threaded through rolled up mat between the vertical back pads in the lumber area, this was an attempt for it to carry loads better but a side effect was better air flow! Have you thought of using a padded battle belt (can always attache molle pouches to it as well) just to create a better airflow. I use this method; again I did it originally to tilt the pack forward and make it more stable with load but this also creates air flow too. Nice video Nigel, Best wishes Gilly.
Ahh yeah sweaty back! For me its now a necessary evil because a UK Bergen is the only large ruck that works with my stature.. Even in the summer I can be sweltering but if that ruck comes off that sweat hitting the air chills me to my soul.. Well done, Sir.. this is bound to help someone!
Very clever. Thanks for sharing brother thumb up.

Hi Gilly. Thank you for watching and commenting and those good ideas - after all there is more than one way to skin a cat. Stay safe. ATB. Nigel
random thought, instead of using a roll mat, what about a rolled up poncho, ... so if it rains you have some rain protection too?
Good idea but then you will get the wet sweaty back. I'm still undecided rain jacket or poncho for EDC. Stay safe. ATB
