I loved this solo video! You did great on your own. Loved the wip parade! I'm stitching the Holiday Quaker with you! I think i know what is happening at the end of the year! Emily Call and table brainstormed at Beach Please! Take care tell Nancy we missed her, safe travels to Seattle and then to Scotland!!!
Thank you for sharing your wips with us. You’ve inspired me to go through my older wips and see if there’s anything I want to pitch. Time is ticking and I know I’ll never get to everything I want to do! PS I love a long video!
I’ll take over your Christmas list wip if no one has claimed it. ❤ it’s always so fun to watch the progress of a stitcher. I’ve been watching since your first episode and now you model stitch! I have double the binders of patterns…don’t feel bad! It’s my library. You may never read all the books…but you have them in your library.
Went to Scotland last Sept! It was great! Rain coat with hood, and duck rubber shoes! They say don't bring an umbrella due to the wind. Edinburgh was great!
I enjoyed your wip parade. I missed Nancy but you did a good jog Jenny. Me and some friends of mine and my sister all stitched the flosstube ladies. We changed the name at the bottom to Stitchy Friends. We all stitched our ladies and did it as a round Robin. You e got a lot of stitching to do girl. Get started but don’t be a stranger…..Debbie (MD)
Enjoyed the wip parade. I’m stitching Skeleton Crew too! I divided my pattern into 12 sections so that I can stitch one or two every month and have a finished project at the end of the year. I’m stitching mine on a 32ct Belfast linen in Tarnish. I wanted a menacing color. The only adjustment I’ve made was the 502. I chose to stay in the same color range, just lighter 504. Oh and I’m using glow in the dark for all the white.
Fun wip parade and I love all of them! I feel bad for Marty the 🫎 moose maybe his fabric needs a good wash and it’ll soften up? It’s a gorgeous color for him for sure! If you decide you want the fence, words etc stitched on your fall piece reach out and if you send it to me I’ll do it for you. I would be happy to! Serious! 🧐 it’s super pretty and you have stitched so much of it already! I miss Nancy and hope she had a good day at work and have you seen Poltergeist Pirates? I’m considering it… huge stitch but oh so gorgeous! Blessings until we see y’all again!
I have a cowlick which gives me a Superman curl. When I was a little girl my mother used to say this to me…”There was a little girl who had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead. When she was good, she was very very good but when she was bad she was horrid.” Your comment made me think of that. Oh, I too decorate my bathroom. Enjoyed the video.
Love WIP parades! And you did a fine job by yourself :). Believe me, your video has been therapy for me also! Recovering from hand surgery and its slow getting back into the swing :). Happy stitching my friend!!
Loved your excellent stab at solo tubing. Loved it but I love having the two of you together better. I am also stitching the Scottish Quaker and almost ready to start on the bottom part with the boat.
Was wondering if you and your sister ever thought of doing a pattern dive so we can see what you have.😊. Love those videos as well as WIP parades thank you for showing all your wips. I feel the same about our country do we have issues that need to be worked out absolutely but, I will never feel that I can’t feel patriotic. Patriotic through good/bad. Have great weekend.
Probably seemed strange doing it alone, but you did a great job. You’re a natural. Enjoyed seeing all the wips and the conversation. Nancy was missed, give her our best. Thanks for continuing on and giving us a floss tube
Hi Jenny! Just wanted to say you did a great floss tube even though you were solo tonight. I’m sure it was weird to do it without Nancy but I really enjoyed it! You made my stitching time tonight more fun! Lol Loved all your projects you showed, I also struggle with what to stitch on as I too have quite a few WIPS! It so hard not to start all the things! 😂 Can’t wait for your next video! ❤
@@bougiestitchers2225 Yes I could tell you were missing her. You and Nancy remind me so much of me and my sister. We both stitch as well and I’m the older bossy one! 🤣
A totally agree on switching out kit fabric. I have a couple of Luca-S in progress I hate the feel of the fabric. Next time I will changeout to a linen I will love.
That was a fun WIP parade ❤ Hey, I stuck with ya!! I paused several times for taking the dog out, etc, but honestly, I don’t think you girls should worry about the videos being too long. I love them 👍 what better thing to do while I’m stitching? Thanks for sharing 😎
I enjoyed your WIP parade, thanks for taking the time to share. For your scroll frame I bet you could use a pillow case cover to protect your stitching. I missed Nancy but glad she was able to work since she enjoys the kids.
❤. What a wonderful WIP parade!! Your Christmas List project could be made into a project bag!❤. Exciting that you are going to be doing your own thing in 2025! I hope you will share with us! ❤
Great question, and I will be more deliberate since I think I use the word fiber interchangeably for floss and linen threads when I get chatting and am nervous.
I love your Nutcrackers both patterns. I have two nutcrackers that I brought back from Germany when I was 19. Boy was that a long time ago. Christmas please.
Good Video, I had to Pause it .- - Our Labs began to simmer down at age 3+, yet we had one that was at age 7, not a typo. They all knew verbal commands & hand signals.Oh, do I need to organize my WIPS. I've been taking Saturdays to Kit-Up stuff, and this way when it is 100% kitted up I can start it whenever I want :) . I'm a season stitcher too. July will be Patriotic & Christmas in July.
I certainly enjoyed your WIP parade! It’s fun to see so many different charts by designers I’m not familiar with. You did a great solo act but I’m sure it was harder to film without Nancy. Looking forward to seeing you together soon! Happy 4th of July! Take Care!
See Nancy is very good at her job, I bet it is hard to hold it just right. I stitched lady Halloween that I won from you and posted on instagram but could only tag Nancy. It turned out aahsewcute. ❤ 🧙I would love to finishe Christmas List wip, I have chart and floss ready. Up for the stitch.
Hi Jenny. Marty the Christmas moose. You were talking about your fabric and wanting to change it to something with 'snow's drops or white splodges as I would call it. Miy fabric is a grey colour. Zweigart Basalt with light splash (7419) 32 count Murano Cotton Evenweave. 55''×19" in UK. As that's where I'm from but that might help you find what you're looking for or put you in right direction. Good luck
That was a great wip parade! I love how you are approaching your 24 in 24 knowing that you probably won’t get them all done and that’s okay. That’s my new thought process. I purchased the 1990’s Nutcracker pattern this year and I want to do the two big ones as stand ups. I am going to pull it out and kit it up for a July start! I think that Christmas piece you are giving away looks really great but I can appreciate that you don’t like the fabric. Did you check out Priscilla’s from Stitching with the Housewives? She changed her fabric colour and a few of the colours and it looked amazing! Then you showed the Aury TM Nutcracker and I almost died. That is such a gorgeous pattern! And I also kitted up a gorgeous nutcracker pattern from Madame la Fee (“un Noel en Ör”). So many nutcrackers so little stitching time!
I have Merman Cove, completely kitted up! Let me know when you want to start it, and I'll join in! I got the chart from The Crafty Grimalkin in Bangor, the day before the Library Stitcher's Retreat, and the specialty floss pack from GaRon Stitchery. That Christmas piece is gorgeous! Have a great 4th of July, and see you soon!!!
Love seeing your wips! I need to finish my Christmas List but just had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands so probably not this year. Do you have Turkey Dressing? If not, I’m not going to stitch mine…..
Great solo video! FYI, Vicki Clayton silks may appear to use one color for three of the called for, but she uses 1 name with an a, b and c version so you would receive 3 colors. I don’t know why she uses the same name for different colors - it’s confusing. But I wanted you to know that you do receive as many separate colors as are called for in the pattern from her. And they are lovely and affordable.
Email Victoria regarding her silks. I could not figure out the conversion from DMD either. Like you - it seemed like some of the DMC colors was the same Victoria Clayton color. So I emailed her the list of DMC colors and she did it. I received them and there is definitely no duplicates.
Hey. I'm working on The Equality Sampler while I watch you. Wait till you get to the over 1 (sheesh on 40 ct) and the flag is a doozie. She's pretty though.
Was it weird to do this Solo? The Lamp is $$$ for me, but I've heard great things about them. How long does the LED last? At least you can make something out of that HOD oopsie. My WIP that wouldn't fit was on Linen, but I learned a huge lesson.😁
I enjoyed your flosstube,I did miss Nancy. I would find the number of WIPs you have overwhelming.I usually have 2 on the go with different counts. Occasionally, I do a small piece for cards I make for Christmas. I'm looking forward to seeing your finishes.
really enjoyed your WIP parade. What was the name of the person who does the Zoom stitching group? I tried to find her and I didn't have luck maybe I'm spelling things wrong. The nutcrackers sampler is beautiful.
What fabric did you stitch Equality Sampler on? I got started then stopped on the tent stitches for the words. So I have ordered the called for fabric. Thanks

That light is great, the colors of the fabric look very nice and the stitching too!!! Beautiful finishes!! I enjoyed your wip parade!!!
Enjoyed your wip parade. I use a pillowcase to cover my big piece that is on a frame.
Loved your excellent stab at solo tubing. Loved it but I love having the two of you together better. I am also stitching the Scottish Quaker and almost ready to start on the bottom part with the boat.

What fabric did you stitch Equality Sampler on? I got started then stopped on the tent stitches for the words. So I have ordered the called for fabric. Thanks
I picked a 32 count from cedar river linen and design.
I am confused by your use of the term fibers, are you just using it as a substitute for floss or threads or fabric or all of the above?
