You commented on my video...I been sub.to you since the beginning and you were one of my favorite episodes on American pickers..you are the real thing.YOI ARE IN THE TOP 5 CHANNELS, THAT my viewers watch. KEEP BEING YOU!! hope I meet you someday buying or selling a old project
Doodlbug is a DeSoto? Love the grill for sure. I would have that hanging as wall art. DD Speed shop on youtube would have that 57 Chev cut into a 2 door so fast, and floor out and new one in like nothing. That is in pretty good shape for around here. (He has done a few) Give him a couple months and it would be back on the road.
Quality Chek’d was a dairy co- op formed after WW2 to combine smaller local dairies to compete with Bordens and Sealtest. It was big in the Midwest at one time
I like the ragged out 58 Ford! There were a lot of them on the road when I was a kid riding my bike around looking at cars and trying to decide what I was going to drive when I turned 16! I never saw one of those with all of the tail lamp lenses intact even back in the 60'S! And of course I like the 63 4 door and the 64 2 door!! If I had the 64 Galaxy I would find some deep dish 15 inch wheels and wide tires for it, paint the wheels gold and beat the big dent out of the right quarter panel and spray it satin black to look like it's faded out then paint numbers on the sides and roof plus some '''sponsor''names on the side and BAM!! Instant Nascar racer!
Hey Tim and Joe... I was just thinking that if you guys had bought all the loose scrap, You could of loaded it all in the back of that international dump truck, drove it across the scales an got twice your investment with it being so dang high right now. I put a 5.9 twelve valve cummins in one just like that for a friend... admittedly it did take a whole week to have it road ready but you can say what you want... that truck was a very popular rig for some time around here. My friend got so tired of people wanting to buy it that he put it on the radio as a bid on it and it did have a reserve on it.... he figured no one would come... he was very wrong. It was bid to fifteen thousand and a guy in the back came forwards and said.." twenty five thousand" and he had both hands full of hundred dollar bills. My buddy John said to him.... what are your intentions if you get it??? He said, My dad is not for much longer an its for him. John smiled and said "SOLD"
New to the channel and was just listening to it while doing other computer work on another screen and heard... Ahhhp well someones gone and janked the 9" ! Had to flip back and see, WTH? Sounds like no auction i EVER been to! LOL 1:00 Ohhhhh thaaaaat 9" lol
Hey Mr. Goodpliers. Enjoy your videos. I am in Mesa Az. I have a 4 door 55 Chevy car I want to make a 2 door out of. Wondering if you have two two door doors that are driver quality usable with little to no rust? I checked with Silas but he does not have anything at this time. I know the 2 door doors from all tri five's would work along with 2 door doors from I believe Pontiac's from the same years. Thanks
Quality Check is an ice creme co. in Omaha NE. Sill in business. Is the tank possibly a milk bulk tank? Provide by the company for providing contracted milk.
That one was aftermarket. The factory JD three point ( actually a four point) was on the second Deere. A 1953 60 with an 801 hitch. An 801 brings around a grand here in Indiana.
@@farmerbill6855 OK, didn't catch the 2nd one, but both sold cheap enough a guy could do something with them. Been watching a few auctions and it seems like old Iron jumps around in prices. Guess some of the younger generation not interested.
Hey Mr.Good P.this is evil kev that tank looks like one that was used for kerosene delivery a friend of mine have one with the wheels on it and it was riveted around all the seams and that's what he told me it was for I have to move it one time on a trailer so you can do some work on it at his house I can't believe that that dozer went for so cheap and it's big and bulky and expensive to move but they're not cheap I hope to see you soon one of these days I'm going to make it up there hopefully in the next 6 months hopefully there's something left to buy up there by the time I get there take care yeah I got a question for you how much did that flower car go for at that auction it was like a 59 Cadillac Hurst and then there was the flower car I was wondering how much the flower car went for that would make a badass street rod like a factory Cadillac El Camino take care bro
Hi! Thanks for stopping by the channel again Kevin! I would agree, the tank is almost certainly a bulk oil mover, and the milk livery is just someone's fantasy for advertising or a hobby. The dozers were well under value I thought. Well bought, no question. I am a little fuzzy on the 59 Cadillac but I think it was between $5k and $10k, maybe $8k if I recall. There was a viewer who commented on the video and seemed knowledgeable about what was there, who may know more exactly than I do. You are surely welcome to come see me and take a look. I guarantee there will be a bunch to look at here. Send me an email, mrgoodpliers1985@gmail.com and we can make plans!
It never ceases to amaze me the entitlement that comes out in non-bidding spectators at auction sales. Non-bidders seem to have no shame when it comes to window-shopping right in front of someone with a camera recording the auction as if to say "screw him, I'm more important".
@@keithbronson9777 Those I commented on consistently stood there, hands firmly in their pockets and spoke among themselves rather than to the auctioneer. This happens a lot. No interest in buying but want to be front row to see what things sell for. Common courtesy, though, would have been to stand a bit to either side to permit unobstructed video recording of the proceedings.
Joe is a little better organized about that than I am. You can send me an email, mrgoodpliers1985@gmail.com and we can get you info for both Joe and me
its nice that you show the auction and how much the stuff brings!!
Nothing better than an auction. Thanks
The Meadow Larks are providing wonderful bird song, in the background. Thanks from.St. Paul Minnesota.
Kansas state bird ✔️
@@mr.goodpliers6988 why didn't you say you had a Bel-Air for sale?
I was looking for one
Love the "What's It Corner".
Thats a steal on those dozers ...Your buddy joe is a beast when it comes to getting tires and wheels to roll...and loading stuff
Hey sure like when you edit in the prices, i used to love to attend auctions and just watch the bidders and what is for sale, Glad for your videos.
Iove these auctions you post ,nothing like it around our area anymore, when I was a kid they were every Saturday !!! Thanks again!!!
Milk tanker was horse drawn and yes the seat would mount there where you mentioned. That may be the running gear nearby?
You do have a heart for a true classic tri-five.
Love watching these auctions!.Thank you for the uploads!.👍😁
I would've KILLED to be there for the '48 F1, the '57 Chevy & the '64 Galaxie! Those were amazing get's!!! Great video!!!
Great buy on the 57’ Joe! 😎👍😎
And the Galaxie !
Amazes me all the old cars coming out of your area. Old tank just like that one out in the woods here looking like some one used it as part of a still
I had way too good a laugh at Joe pin balling his head out of that 4 door Chevy at about 5:50!!! Watched it 4 or 5 times! 😉😁
😄😁😆Had to go back to look at that at 5:48!!! Then he walks away like, "Hope no one saw that." 😀
Yeah, I had to watch it again too (I'm Joe). I actually dont remember doing it. 🙂

The old Raymond Wagner truck out of Kansas is a badass rat rod waiting for it's creator ❤️ Oh if I had the expendable cash 😁
I was watching the Apr. 12 (or 14?), 2022 video from The Campulance Man and he was in his converted ambulance/RV watching Mr. Goodpliers !
Fascinating!
Looks like those kids wanted the 57 but the Dad didn't pull the trigger. 700 bucks is a steal. Good luck with it

It was repainted in those colors a long time ago.
I see the Yoder farm gang made a showing.
The Galaxie looks like the one from the 1972 Steve McQueen movie The Getaway.
You mean the blue 1963 model
You have enough stuff at the rust ranch to have your own auction/sale
I know that auctioneer it comes to Maryland sells building materials is that Richard peek from Peak auctions
No, his name is Ron Stricker out of Gardner, KS
Where's your hammer for the brake drums???
American restoration restored a horse drawn oil cart like the white tank an they did it in standard oil
