Hi, we are Stephen, Jess and little Hunter, a travelling van life family who self-converted their dream house on wheels - we now live full-time in our Sprinter van called Cooper as we do a full lap of our home Australia.
As this incredible once in a life time experience that I think will never appear again closes its doors this year - we feel so thankful to have stayed here and have this video to look back onto! Shame it didn't take off as seeing this applied to fandoms like Harry Potter would've been so magical!
nah.
This hotel is shit. Did they pay you guys to go?
Looks like such an awesome place and experience! Kudos to you guys for getting to do it! A shame it’ll be gone.
Trust me It's for the best
I can't tell if you're being SERIOUS. How about......NO. Just no
*cringe*
Disney simply knows how to squeeze every penny out of the Star Wars Franchise.
@Leah Tortilla lmao
Imagine if they could actually make consstenty good movies too. They'd print billions and billions.
DO THEY? I wouldn't spend $200 on this place. Don't even get me started on the movies.
You don't have to be such a downer all the time bro, i think this is pretty cool
Well, when it comes to make good, quality Star Wars films...that's another story 🤣
Got to love Disney. When they saw how very little people went to this experience due to this ridiculous price, instead of lowering the price a bit they made the lame decision to rob all of this expirence and close it down. Way to go Disney. You sure are the champion of the people.
Such a shame they didn’t just drop the price! Must’ve not been possible or worth it
Imagine being the one guy that sleeps through the entire experience
The expericene will put you to sleep
You wouldn't be missing much.
That $5000 price tag burns the whole thing to the ground for me. I am glad some people enjoy it though.
Hey everyone!! Hope you enjoyed this VERY different video - it's so hard to explain what we just did but it was seriously the funnest 72 hours! Now imagine this but for Harry Potter...
It looks absolutely incredible! It's so hard to put a price/worth on something - everyone has such different opinions on what they feel is a good value! But for me, if the experience is something you're super into and it makes you happy and you get a ton out of it, then that's what makes it worth it for you. Plus, this is Disney...it's not exactly inexpensive...but such a cool, totally immersive experience!
And this but Harry Potter would be INSANE!
That would be THE BEST!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖
Ooh that little video leak?? 0_0. In the uk there are alot of things to do with Harry Potter if planning on coming over.
OMG what a great experience. If there is a Harry Potter one you have to do it. ❤️🚀🪄
"I'm a huge star wars fan"........."Whats your fav movie ?"......."Rise of Skyewalker"......😂😂😂😂😂😂
I feel like the only people that go here are the ones Disney gives free passes to lol
Yea I saw some article talking about this galactic cruiser hotel thing being a fail because it costs too much
But it's weird because all the millionaires in the world, can't keep it up and running. Not even they will spend their money this way? Maybe it should've actually been way up in the air, giving the feeling you're going to the sky.
You can be guaranteed that every YT influencer review got a free stay.
stayed here with my wife and kids and we weren’t given free passes. We actually paid for 2 night
@@daviddubois5913 because you don’t have a ton of followers on UA-cam
This looks more exhausting than fun. It also looks like it's forced fun to get the full experience. I would rather roam around the ship and discover things for myself. I can see why this is closing.
Actually its exactly what you want to do. You explore, roam around the ship and discover things for your self. It's done in a way where nothing is forced - you see something going on - you go see whats on. A cast member wont walk up to you and say "hey come this way its fun over here". It's all done very naturally and that's what the beauty of this place was. Shame its closing down as this will never happen ever again.
This aged well.
You have to be super high to work at the Star Wars hotel.
They provide death sticks
Imagine paying 5000 dollars for one night, litteraly money down the drain regardless of the expierence. You shouldn't be giving Disney this kind of money for such a little return.
Shut the fuck up . Can people not be allowed to spend their money how they want.
It isn't $5000 for one night. It was $5000 for 3 people to stay 3 days, 2 nights. Still expensive, but not nearly as bad as you're making it out to be.
@@jm7804 It was worth every penny. my family and I had a great time.
I disagree, just because you can’t afford it, doesn’t mean someone else can’t.
Republican dream
OUCH! For that price??? The experience for the 0.001%! No wonder it got shut down.
Consider your experience unique, I'm glad you enjoyed it for what it was worth and got good memories out of it at least...
I had the biggest smile on my face the whole way through. I adore "Miss Hunter's" interactions.
I am so dorky, adore start wars and will definitely be adding this to my bucket list.
My South African heart is very happy right now. Thank you so so much for sharing your epic experience
aww so glad you enjyoed this one!!
Hey there fellow South African!
HAHHAHA this didnt age well.
From someone who'll never have the opportunity to do this, thank you guys for sharing your experience. It looked simply awesome and fun!
Seems like such a cool place!!! Also, Hunter is the sweetest 😍❤️ she pretending not to know where dad is hiding is the cutest thing ever😭❣️🥺
Props to you all for making this the most cohesive storyline and your video felt the least chaotic of many of the videos I've seen on the Starcruiser! I get overwhelmed by all of the go go go and fast pace that a lot of the videos have. I'm sure in the moment it's riveting but it's easy as a viewer to lose the plot and not understand the bigger picture. I usually have to leave Starcruiser videos partially watched because the chaos is too much but you all did a fantastic job of explaining the storyline and still conveying the energy of the moment!
aww this is such an amazing comment thank you so much! the reason this took sooo long to edit was initially it had all that stuff in tehre and WE understood what was going on as WE had been on it...but to sit back as a viewer we had to cut a lot down
OH EM G!!! THIS IS INSAAANNNNNEEEE!!!!!! I, Aimee, haven't even SEEN all the star warsesess and I NEED TO GO HERE!! So flipping cool guys... the whole thing just blew my mind! You film everything SO bloody well, makes me so excited and want to go like, tomorrow. Also Steve, when I see you next, i'm going to need to borrow than blue micky Tee - SO COOL! Top video lads.. absolutely loved it!! ❤❤❤
Ahhh you two!! Okay you can keep the Mickey top!!
Unbelievable experience, I had never heard of this hotel til now….what a special event.
We put a poll out on our Instagram and majority are with you that they had never heard of it before!
Disney forgot people are not as rich as they think they are. What a RIP off !
What an amazing 72 hours!! Loving very bit of this vlog! My favourite vlog from you guys, massive star wars fan and Stephen's reaction and smile is exactly me through out this, this was the best vlog out of anyone who has done this and vlogged it for YT. The amount of time and energy spent filming and editting over the 2/3 days has truely paided off well well done
The bunk bed was clearly the highlight of this visit.
Absolutely fantastic. I felt I was with you all the way, enjoying every minute with a massive smile on my face. Thank you x
As a father of two, the large cups of milk were giving me anxiety lol. Adorable kiddo and looks like a great vacay!
Same. lol filled way too full
Omg~ thank you for sharing your experience in such a wonderful place. For those who live in another part of the world which unable to go or simply can't afford to go will share the same joy from your vlog. Big thank you!❤
Your filming and editing is spectacular! I am a teacher and I think the experiences Hunter is being exposed to are phenomenal! Her language development and social skills have continued to flourish throughout your adventures and it’s a pleasure to watch!! Love your content! 💕
I’ve watched hours of UA-cam footage of this experience since due to health it’s unlikely I’ll get to try it. I’m so happy you all got to do this unique adventure. You did an amazing job just making the one video. I know how much happens and your version was so well done. Also just loving seeing Hunter experience all the new things. Thanks for sharing your lives and bringing such joy 🧡🖤🧡
Wow. Firstly, huge thank you to Steven, Jess and Hunter for filming, editing and sharing this whole experience with us. I could not stop smiling throughout this entire video. As a Star Wars fan, this honestly looks so surreal. I'm still dreaming of going to Galaxy's Edge one day but this blew my mind. My partner isn't really into Star Wars however so I would probably never stay here but this is probably as close as I'll get to it. Incredible video guys and keep up the good work!
aww thansk so much Kevin so glad you appreciated the sheer amount of work that went into making this vlog! What would your partner think if it was Harry POtter themed?
@@flyingthenest she would absolutely LOVE it! One day I hope to take her to Universal Studios in Orlando to experience Harry Potter world. That is the dream.
Just to let you know, I’m not into star wars but I would still enjoy this experience! Show your partner this video and they may surprise you!
@@Keffin1 It is AMAZING! I went in September 2019, just before COVID, and it was the perfect time. Went through a travel agency to get discounts on a 5-night stay to go to both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade however many times we wanted each day. Definitely go to both parks, the Express is an attraction in itself! I got my Hufflepuff robes and my sister got her own private wand choosing ceremony (they noticed she was blind, so did that for us after the main one), which was sooo cool! We rode the Gringotts ride 11 times, the Hogwarts ride 7 times, and the Buckbeak ride once. Hagrid's new ride was down when we wanted to ride it. The shops and the food are so good! The attention to detail is mind-blowing; there's so many Easter Eggs around the parks.
What a fantastic video! I've watched many videos of the Starcruiser and I like how this was totally different, didn't feel like a review but still showed the experience very well. Awesome work and what a lovely family!
As a huge SW fan, I felt during the all video the emotion of Steven (I actually had tears in my eyes sometimes while watching the video). Thank you so much for filming this incredible video because I don't think I'll be able in my life to experience this and I'm so happy you had the chance to do it
It's closing this year, I'm surprised that lasted this long!
Oh my goodness, such a great experience!! Stephens face was so smiley. Jess looked like she was having a great time, and well Hunter was having a blast!! Great video!
✨ Amazing job, Steve! Blown away by this experience and the video was so well done as always!! I also love Hunters messy side buns - how adorably appropriate!
yay so glad you enjoyed this!!
This looks absolutely incredible thank you so much for documenting it so well. Hunter took it all in her stride and really got involved it was lovely to see it through her eyes.
This hotel is definitely on my bucket list! The theming of everything just blows my mind.
Amazing. I’m buzzing just watching you 😂
the hotel is underwhelming.
✨️ How amazing experience again! Thanks for this video to the 3 of you!
What an awesome experience! Glad you all enjoyed it as I enjoyed watching it!
yayyyy!!!
Not worthy😊
I’ve never really been interested in Star Wars but this looks so cool and now I want to try watching SW in chronological order. What a cool adventure and what beautiful moments of fun you guys are having with your little one - you guys are such fun parents. Hunter is incredibly adorable!
Great to see other people like to fully unpack on shorter trips too - it makes the stay feel more enjoyable I think.
Then you'll love it since it's not really aimed at Star Wars fans.
This video editing is sooo good!! We appreciate the time and effort you guys give us for such good quality videos, we love you guys❤️
Your's is one of the few vlog channels the wife and I watch together and given that we are both Disney nuts especially when it comes to Disney World so this was a no brainer! I loved seeing the enjoyment in your faces. As we live in the UK and it is expensive for us to go to WDW without even thinking about the star wars hotel it was lovely to "share" in your experience. Thank you both (well, the 3 of you!)
What an incredible and amazing episode of your Galactic Starship foray into the universe! Hunter is a little gorgeous professional and you guys are fabulous ! Enjoy your sensational travels with much love from the Gold Coast ❤️❤️❤️
Ok, that was officially the coolest looking vacation ever 😁 Totally epic video guys 👍❤️
The beauty and complexity of this editing is next level!! Amazing video guys!!
The joy on Steven’s face when he lights up the light Sabre 🥹. Loved this episode!
Loved Hunter's reaction to the stormtroopers. Just precious.
That little girl will have the most wonderful life because she has experienced so much and her fears have been normalised. Just a fabulous video and I have never watched a single Star Wars movie xxxx
Thank you so much for taking us along on your adventure. That all looks so amazing. It's definitely first and fore most on my bucket list to do before I die. Love it! Blessings to you.
Looks like a fucking nightmare

What a FABULOUS experience!!! Bravo on the editing I felt like we were watching a movie, hated for it to end! Wow thanks for sharing your incredible trip! ~Cara 😊
aww so glad you enjoyed it!! Yes was a mahoooosive task to edit!
That was phenomenal, the editing, Sfx, story, everything! You guys smashed it and the 40mins flew by! Massive respect 🫡
Whoa! The longest video I've ever seen in your channel and I loved the editing as always! I felt I was with you the whole time! Can't wait for more! 🥰 I also love to see Hunter enjoying your family adventures. Keep safe always! 💕❤️
So, just got round to watching this.
I’ve already seen loads of Disney vloggers and their videos on this.
Yours is so much better than the Disney ‘experts’.
You’ve actually made me excited about going and showing how fun it can be!
Loved how there was a lot for Hunter to do too.
Thanks for doing a great job 👍
Look forward to seeing where you go to next.xx 😀
OMG this was a joy to watch!!! Very heart warming & the little one is so cute!!!
This is insane🤩 i love this video and you guys look so happy and excited the whole time!
Congratulations on your success, bringing this experience that the majority of people can never justify affording to the masses is appreciated.
Love watching your adventures with Hunter!!! Thank you for sharing this! 💕 love flying the nest!
aww thanks so much!!
How flipping cool was this?! The finale, wow! I wish I could go!
This is like a dream come true freaking amazing!!!!! So happy your daughter enjoyed it so much they really went all out with the experience!
OMG that was the best video - felt like we were there while watching it!!! This is now on our list of MUST DO experiences !!! Thank you for the excellent showcase of what to look forward to!!!
I of course would LOVE to go here but I literally get joy just from knowing things like this exists.
Wow that looks like so much fun! They really went all out to make everything look like you are really on a spaceship. So cool!
Such a fun video! Thanks Jess, Steve and Hunter!
Incredible video!!!! What a fun few days! Thanks for sharing it with us!
I imagine those were actual shops on Batuu and the items and drinks cost extra?
This looks so insanely fun! ✨ Haven’t had the chance to experience any of the Star Wars things at WDW yet but this has tempted me more to go! Also, fully would have ran away from the stormtroopers too, i still find them a tad scary as an adult 😂
Had so much fun watching!! Thank you for sharing this experience 😭😭
aww so glad you enjoyed it!
I so enjoyed this video! It was great to experience this virtually, especially to share this fun trip through Hunter's discoveries. That was such a treat! This experience has been added to the top of my bucket list. Thank you Hunter!!!
The is is by far the best representation of the new Star Wars experience. You are such a master at editing and I loved the whole thing. I had a smile on my face the whole time while watching. Disney should be comping you for this truly beautiful, wonderfully shot video. Loved it!!
aww this is such a lovely comment Beth thank you so much! aww I wish no Disney did their press for htis about 5 months ago and we did pay for this
Absolutely amazing vlog. Can't get enough of your adventures. ✨️
OMG thus vlog is absolutely unbelievable!! As a lifelong Star Wars fan (I am 51), this is my dream come true. My 5 year old son is also a budding fan as well. Wow! We went to the Star Wars Convention (called Star Wars Celebration) back in May and the Star Wars Hotel had an exhibit there. I know it is crazy expensive but this vlog has proven to me that it is worth it! Thank you for posting one of my favorite vlogs you have ever posted. And I have been a subscriber for years!! Cheers!! ♥️
Cool, but $5000 for three days is beyond a ripoff. Disney has become all about corporate greed. It's sad because I used to love Disney.
Aww what a beautiful family experience thank you so much for sharing this with us ❤️❤️
thanks so much for coming along for this journey!
@@flyingthenest aww your welcome anytime
Loved meeting you on your WDW trip in January, so happy y'all were able to come back and do this! I'm so jealous, I haven't been inside yet!
Absolutely amazing experience! Thanks for the video.
It looks like fun, but not $5,000 worth of fun. Even at half that, it would still be expensive for basically 2 days.
Agreed - the price needs to drop significantly
It’s closing 😂😂😂
Thank's for sharing this fantastic visite, Best wishes for 2023, BIG UP !
I looooooved this!!! Watching this was so amazing, thank you for making this video guuuys! We love you!
aww thank you!!
i'm not usually that into theme parks but WOW that looked freaking awesome !! The amount of work and thoughts that must have been put into this is incredible
it was sooo much fun to do and yes lots of work to get this vlog together!
I've never been into Star Wars. Have watched every movie just so I'll understand some of what's going on, but I never became a diehard fan. We even skipped Hollywood Studios this past year because we had seen the rest of the park a million times, and really didn't have enough interest to give up a day at one of the other parks to go there. Your video has DEFINITELY changed my perspective! I am so intrigued by what I just watched. I can't get over how big that place is. I also have to say that Hunter made the video even more enjoyable. She is an absolute doll. You must have done a good job so far because she is one of the best behaved 2 year olds I've ever seen. Thank you so much for sharing this video. If I had not come across it, I probably would have remained uninterested. Thanks so much. Have a Disney Day!!
Not awesome because it's not like Skywalker it is about Rey!
This whole thing looks bonkers and I love it. It's your food, accommodation, and activities all rolled into one and I would LOVE to do it. Also, thank you for sharing your sweet Hunter's reaction to everything. Seeing the world through the eyes of your kids is one of the best things ever.
haha there's a whole lot of bonkers here so much didnt make the cut of this video
@@flyingthenest well now I have to go
Hi Guys, WOW, that was amazing to watch and what an experience for you all. I loved watching Hunter's face, I hope as she grows she retains the memories. Well done from NZ
Wow wow wow, I am not a Star Wars fan and don't know anything about the story. BUT, this was fantastic, I enjoyed every second. Hunter is such a delight and your true enthusiasm comes thru making watching such a joy. Thank you, thank you just loved this video just a little bit more🙂
I know the price seems nuts, but if you're a star wars fan where else in the world could you ever hope to have such an immersive experience in the Star wars universe? You guys did an amazing job filming this, the memories and joy your family shared on this trip is PRICELESS

The original concepts and designs for this hotel were pretty incredible, it stinks that it seems like the imagineers were not given the time and funding necessary to really realize the original vision
Wow the engineering and work that went into that facility ! Pretty amazing
Wow, Wow, Wow!!! That was amazing! The attention to detail was phenomenal. I can see how you would easily be drawn into the action and become lost in the story. How do you ever walk away from that at the end? I loved watching your entire family on their missions. Even little Hunter had a blast on her mission. 🚀 🧑🚀 🪐 ⭐️💫
Can't wait to watch 😍

Wow. Thank you so much for sharing. What a great video!
Great vlog as always! It was intence to watch. Mamma Mia! Way to go! Keep up the good work!
Looks like so much fun! I so want to do that some day. Hunter is so lucky to have you two as parents. I Love your interactions with Hunter. She seemed to have sooo much fun! I am Heading to Universal Orlando and DisneyWorld in 10 days. Been there several times but it never gets old. Last year we Stayed at DisneyWorld in October to celebrate my 50th birthday during my daughter's favorite time of the year...Halloween. DisneyWorld and I were born in the same year!!! This year we are staying at Universal. Very excited for the Wizarding World, some Jurassic World, some Star Wars, some Christmas fun at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center. Though some day, I definitely have to go on the Galactic Starcruiser! 😁
I'm glad you guys had a fun time, but honestly would rather pay to go to Star Wars area in park. It's waaay too pricy for what you do there. Probably why it's closing.
Wow the filming and editing was on point! It felt like even I was a part of your mission! 😍
Thanks for sharing that experience! I had my eyes glued watching the adventure!
awww yay makes me so happy
You paid 5000$ to stay in a windowless room and travel on a refurbished box truck to come in the back entrance of the park where they do the maintenance basically. Disney is the master at Catfishing.
The videos you make are top notch. Thank you for your efforts. Are far as this Disney experience goes there is no way I would pay $5000 for that. I guess there are enough people out there that will for Disney to offer this.
It blows my mind how many people can spend $5,000 for one night. I mean looks cool, but holy crap expensive.
