As others have said very helpful and a great result. However, as someone else said it was sometimes hard to read the text. If you have time suggest improving that e.g. white text on a semi opaque black background or the other way around.
Hello Claudio, in this video our stunning painter Pablo Albornoz explains how to use, apply and finish decals on models. Take a look at it because we're sure you'll be able to add your decals in a easier way after watching this video 😊😊 ua-cam.com/video/zFS-jTba9vQ/v-deo.html
I will buy this there is no stopping me I'm already addaicted to vallejo vallejo is like nicotine for me i need it today i bought some vallejo colours 13 but then i saw more i needed so i will have to buy them
This video completely contradicts what is said in “Airbrushing and weathering techniques” that Vallejo puts out, where they say you apply the decal softer, let dry, then apply decal fix. Anyone know which way is better?

Do you let the Decal Fix dry before applying the decal, or leave it moist? I'm used to other decal media that specify it's best to apply over a wet application of fix medium (e.g. Mr. Mark Setter) so it blends and reacts with the fix solution (e.g. Mr. Mark Softer).
Hello Nikola! The difference is just the name (Decal Medium corresponds to Decal Fix, it was changed some time ago). The Decal Softener didn't change its name :)
@@HeadHunterSix Hahaha! We know our company name is a bit tricky to say for those who don't speak Spanish, but you don't have to worry about that! We love ad appreciate all our painters and customers around the world, no matter the language they speak and how accurately they pronounce our name ❤😜🥰
Alcohol based interesting. I have very old decals. From previous kits. You know the left over that you dont need. Yes one can say throw them away. But they still works.. Oxygen packs. Are in them.
I love your tutorials. Helped me a lot. My fiancé loves them too. She likes the music because it helps her fall asleep when I watch them in bed.
I just bought some of your Varnish for my model trains. Thank you Vallejo.
Thank you so much British Rail :)
NICE! I've been struggling with this problem for 2 decades!
Ok, we are glad it was useful.
i just used this tutorial for some logos in a gundam , it worked perfectly
Do I need to have the varnish or can I just use the decal solution
@@andweebh6894 i found the varnish helps yo smooth the surface , bit if your model os already smooth ( a car for example ) you could Skip It

Are you supposed to wait until the decal fix is dry before applying the decal on top?
2 beneficial products to have, especially if you print your decals.
Hello Pirate Penguin! Absolutely basics to have :)
does the decal fix need to dry before we apply the decal, or do we apply the decal to the decal-fiix-wet surface?

Sir... you have so good technique! :D
Where can I find decaying, urban buildings like the one in this video tutorial? Can't seem to find anything in 1:24 scale. thanks!
Génial et résultat super
Are you suposed to wait till fix with decal on top of it is dry before applying medium or do it just after water and air bubbles are removed?
Hi,
It's better you wait untill the air bubbles are removed.

Would like to get an answer for this as well.
Is this because decals will settle better on a glossy surface?
@@JasperStevens80 paint texture creates air bubbles, gloss layer makes it flat

Hi Mohn, it's better you let the decal on the wet surface.
Whats the difference in decal medium and decal softener???
I have fix and softener, not the medium.
Hello Nikola! The difference is just the name (Decal Medium corresponds to Decal Fix, it was changed some time ago). The Decal Softener didn't change its name :)
Can i hand paint the matt varnish?
I've learned the opposite procedure first medium than fix.
I used to pronounce Vallejo as Valleyo but since I've been learning Spanish I can't stop pronouncing it Bayecko lol 😂
🤣🤣🤣 ✌
There's a painter I follow who pronounces it like "Viejo" and I'm pretty sure he's not right. :D

Hi Rc-Nerd,
I agree with you. But the most important is to make clear how to use it.
Thank you very much for your comments!

And then you ad a ladder in front of it, making the scene completelly stupid...
