@@maxineshideout852 Hello Maxine! Our PIGMENT BINDER Ref. 26.233 has always had this name. Are you referring to another pigment binder brand or our 26.322 Terrain Fixer? As we have not changed our binder's name. And yes, it is normal to have a white color, it is the color that it should have, and it will become matte and transparent once it dries :)

G'day Vallejo, your products are outstanding. It is now much easier to achieve accuracy in all scales, depending on how much or how little one uses. I like the versatility of being able to use more than one product to seal, mix or enhance the pigments. It means if you're run out of one product you can still keep working on your model or diorama. I mostly do aircraft models and only a few armour subjects but now, when I do a tank, an AFV or a truck etc. the finished model looks way better by using your products; much better looking than models I made before I discovered your pigments, etc. Thank you very much. Cheers, Bill H.

Do you have any tips for using these on miniatures? I have a Space Marine model that want dried mars dust on the boots, and so I applied Burnt Umber to the lower legs. After using the capilary method to seal it with your Pigment Binder it turned from a beautiful mahogany brown color to nearly black, and the effect is gone. Should I use the airbrush thinner instead of the binder, or should I mix the pigments with one of the two mediums/sealers on my palatte before applying it to the model?
Thank you for posting this - I am a loyal Vallejo user (only paint I use). I had a question if I may: If I apply say, a white or light gray pigment using the dry method around panel edges on a model plane, will the pigment remain in place when I apply my clear coat sealer (Mr. Hobby gloss first and then matt). I tried this with pastels once but the sealer turned my pastel weathering into gunk. Wondering if it will be the same with these pigments?
Can you clear coat over pigments without it turning into an orange mush. I've done a rather big model with loads of pigments, can i seal it in. Thanks.
What sort of base is it best to put these on? One that’s glossed/matte or direct onto paint? Does it matter if, say, laying down thinner & pigments straight onto a base that’s painted with enamels?
Hello MrFun, you can use water or our thinner. Mineral Spirit is too strong for any water-based acrylics, so you would harm the paintjob if you use it. You can use them with water (the easiest and safest option) and you will also avoid strong odors :)

Can Vallejo airbrush thinner be used to fix homemade iron oxide rust on a car model, using the same techniques as shown in the diorama base pigment demonstration in this video? Could I brush Vallejo airbrush thinner directly on my model kit, and then sprinkle the iron oxide on top of it, would it stay fixed?
Hello Vladimir. Vallejo Airbrush Thinner is recommended to thin and fix our Pigments range, so it may work, but cannot be guaranteed, since it is design for acrylic products. I believe so, it all depends on its evaporation rate. Solvents like airbrush thinner or the binder will evaporate quicker than water, so you''ll get a faster result.
