The third of a trio of great comeback songs of the early 80s...namely, Odo Nti Mediamia-Agatha-Sanbra. The 3 together kept Nana in the headlines with A.B. Crentsil, Pat Thomas and CK Mann.

This song titled "San bra" was a message to Alex Konadu, he was a best friend to Nana Kwame Ampadu.
Alex Konadu sung a song titled "Y3de wo" which was against General Acheampong.
General Acheampong heard that song and wasn't happy with it. So he wanted to kill Alex Konadu. Alex Konadu also run to Cote d'Ivoire. There was no telephone that time so it was through mail and songs.
General Akuffo also came and overthrown General Acheampong. Nana Kwame Ampadu wanted to tell Alex Konadu that his Enemy (General Acheampong) has be overthrown so he can come back to Ghana.
That was where Nana Kwame Ampadu the Legend sung the song "San Bra" to inform Alex Konadu that he can come back cos his Grt Enemy has been Overthrown.
Nana Kwame Ampadu didn't want to go straight to the point that was why he sung it as a love Song.
In the song u will hear Nana Kwame Ampadu said "menim Konadu bi aaa cto dwom cwc Kumasi", that's his frnd Alex Konadu.

Great info. I stand to be corrected, wasn’t he rather singing about his lover Konadu?

@@mahag951 it was a message to his friend outside Ghana, at that time means of communication was minimal, he added his lover to it to cover the real message, becos he might have been in trouble at that time if it was a direct one.

I pray one day Ghanaians will put their differences behind them and start recognizing their own. I pray one day Ghanaians will give their talents their deserved recognition. I pray one day Ghanaians will support their own. It will be difficult for us to find a talent like this. Pay attention to Nana's lyrics--top notch.
