why would it be a touchy subject? i actually LOVE when y'all talk about things that we wouldn't expect you to. like being pressured, boundaries, and yes, sex! your fan base aint as young as you think they are. many of us have grown with y'all and are 20 now. although i am no straight female, and kinda don't relate to a lot of the things you talk about, a lot of what u speak about i CAN learn from. so imagine a 14 year old girl whos probably dying to get some advice on what you consider "touchy" but has nobody to talk about it with because its just kinda awkward!! i say yall should start getting super real!! we love

My plan isn’t to wait until marriage but I’m not offended by what you guys said. I still have strong boundaries and I think you guys have said about boundaries before because I took your advice and stated them early on in my relationship. Anyone that is offended by your boundaries is not worth hanging out or arguing with because boundaries are IMPORTANT.

Most important thing I could share that I never listened to but learned over my life (45yr old) -Girls, listen to your instincts and follow them !!!! I never followed them and suffered severely for that.
I prayed for help in a current situation where I am so confused about someone and this video popped up. THANK YOU. It helped me sort everything out.
Something to remember : jealousy comes from fear. If you feel jealous, look for the fear behind it then ask yourself if that fear is justified or not. As they said, sometimes, it comes from "I don't think I'm good enough".
I’m in my twenties now, but I would have loved to have heard these podcasts in my teens! I think your guys’ thoughts’ and messages are really helpful for those who may not have others telling them these things or who may be keeping these things from others. Really awesome stuff you guys are doing! Wish my past self could have benefitted from this, but it’s still reassuring to hear someone else echo the thoughts I wish I could have told my younger self!

I pretty much always fall asleep to the podcast. I love listening to old episodes while winding down and drawing. Also no offense about the sleeping part, it's not boring or anything, I just need some kind of conversation to concentrate on to help me sleep and this really helps. Thank you guys!

One tip to add, that Christina briefly touched on towards the end. If you do bring a concern or "this made me feel ______" to someone and they start making excuses instead of respectfully listening / repeating back what they heard / trying to understand (or if they shame you for feeling that way) -----------------> RED FLAG!!!

Big red flag I’ve experienced, if they don’t message you back for hours or days and say an excuse like, I forgot, I thought I did or I got busy (last two occasionally is okay but not every time you text) then stop messaging them! They don’t wanna talk to you! Also I’d love to see a sister spotlight on Dani and Katherine, I’m pretty sure there hasn’t been one for either on UA-cam yet.

Don’t know who these women are or why this popped up in my recommended, just anted to say all these ladies are extremely gorgeous.
I also just wanted to give my 2 cents on these topics from a guys perspective. These answers are based in Christian beliefs and assuming you want to be married, which is the ultimate goal of dating.
Firstly, IN MY OPINION, you should be dating someone to see if you would marry them, not for fun, or to be cool and have the pleasure of saying you dated a bunch of guys, it’ll just cause heartbreak in the end.
“Dating without the intent to marry is like going to the grocery store with no money, you either leave unsatisfied or take something that isn’t yours.
Ghosting - plain and simple if a guy is ghosting you, he might as well be dead to you, pun intended. That’s a a sign if immaturity and lack of communication. There may be times where something happened like a loss in his family but he should be man enough to tell you and COMMUNICATE that to you. It could just be a sign that he’s not into you and that means you just have to move on and find someone better.
Mindset - if you do not create the standards for the relationship, the relationship will create the standards that you live by. Know what you are going to get into when you are dating someone. Make a list of qualities you like in a guy and KEEP them so when you are talking t guys and potentially dating them you have a list of qualities that YOU KNOW you cannot give up on it compromise. Trustworthy, great communicator (which women usually appreciate), etc.
9:28 - I disagree, when you know your worth you won’t let anyone else short change you or buy you for something you are worth more than. Yes he can be handsome and all that in a bag of sour patch kids but if he can’t communicate that’s a big no no. Be as picky as you want, it’s YOUR life partner. Don’t make a list of superficial qualities like looks and hobbies, but make them about qualities and character traits.... after watching more they agreed with some of the previous points
12:00 - that’s called list, that honeymoon phase is where everything seems ok but that’s the worst place to make decisions because your emotions are going to cloud all those judgements. While it’s ok to be in love, THATS called falling in lust. That’s why you need to love their character traits and values because that phase and “falling in love” will go away and the traits and personality will be the only thing left.
13:05 - EXCELLENT POINT, very well articulated and completely get behind.
16:05 - I’ve felt with this as a guy before and it is extremely heartbreaking and frustrating. This is a sign of immaturity once again and fear of commitment. If you can’t believe them at their word then what else do you have, red flag for sure.
18:55 - “if you live for someone’s praise, you die by their rejection “ never make someone your source for anything (except Jesus in my life).
19:18 - the BEST thing you can do for yourself is be more self aware, knowing how you react to certain situations and having better emotional intelligence, emotional intelligence 2.0 is a great read that I recommend. Also once again make a list of qualities that you cannot compromise in a guy, not superficial and physical features but qualities of character
Expectations vs. reality - “dating brings out the best, marriage brings out the rest” that’s all I gotta say
Once again, this is all MY OPINION, and I just wanted to help from a guys perspective and how I look at this topic. I recognize full well that a lot of people don’t view relationships like this. If you want to know more about this ideology watch this super good series

Pacing is huge. If you go on dates but never initiate one, that may send a questionable signal. If one person is cultivating the relationship far more than their partner, they may slow down in texts to wait for the partner to pitch in, or just affirm their interest! Dating is full of grey area so simple clarification between partners is part of being an adult.

One of the things about boundaries is that you have to be able to risk and commit to losing the relationship as a consequence of a violated boundary.
Another one I look at is someone you have to set boundaries for. Like for example, if I can tell someone is agreeing to something and aren't self aware or honest enough to say they aren't cool with, that's a bit of a red flag. I know that I can call them out or at least not continue pressuring them in that direction of their emotional and unconscious boundary. They feel understood when I can lay their boundaries down, but I hate that because it puts me in the position of being a mind reader because she doesn't know what she actually wants.
