The term level is measured horizintally, when speaking about the string the correct term is Plumb which describes perfect up and down alignment 90 degrees perpendicular from the level axis.
Great vids! Keep them coming Question: For the people that are trying to learn everything about tuning. Can you list all the levels that you recommend?
do any shops do this level of service or is this why so many people buy draw boards and a press and just do everything themselves. In other words do I keep searching for a unicorn shop or suck it up and buy the equipment and learn?
its been another year... as I travel to shoots and events I have found several shops that have the equipment but so far they only "eye ball" 2nd/3rd axis at rest. Im now convinced shops are a "good enough" service and you need to buy the tools yourself. *** also check all your level tools against a base line (maybe a good carpenters level) most of the little plastic string / arrows levels I have picked up are not true
Hi, one comes from Lancaster Archery Supply and the other is from Hamskea Archery. The 3rd I think is just a random hardware store level. If you check LancasterArcherySupply they'll have them all i'm sure.
You would need to check with Lancaster Archery Supply. I'm not totally sure they still sale it, but someone will sell something similar if that one isn't available.
Ok. I put my bow down maybe 10 years ago. I ate venison every year I hunted. Just got given another compound bow. Bowtech Realm SS. How did it get so freaking technical to shoot a deer or Elk? My old PSE Marauder fed me well and had zero of today's gadgets on it. Star hunter rest. B.S. fiber optic sight slow as hell yet somehow I still ate venison. Poor recurve n stick bow guys gotta be hating they can't adjust thier bows to keep up.......... K.I.S.S.

Keep the videos coming.
So first and second axis get leveled to the string not the riser. ??
Thanks for this excellent video.
Why to check 3d axis at full draw?.
George, I attend your seminar every year at ATA show, I meant to ask you about your pivoting level. Where can I get one? Thank you.
Isn't it better getting you third while the owner of the bow draw back and aim at straight line from uphill and downhill
Where can I get these levels? ... Did a search and cannot find any like these.

why is it that only the 3rd axis is adjusted at full draw, and the other axes are not?
Pix Mann all other axis aren’t as effected by bow torque like 3rd axis is
Miss your vids bud
whats this scope?
Apparently he never heard of the Ole saying ( Straight as a String ) lol
The string isn't level with the riser due to cam lean.
Can it be done without a bow vice ? And if so how ?
Find a door jamb that has a perfectly level side and put your limb pockets against it
I found a way of doing it with a kickstand but thanks for the advice
Count how many times he said "level"
about 61 times....
