Oh my goodness!! ERINN!!! They are just the cutest!! 🙌🏼🐣🐥 cutest fluff balls ever…. Loved seeing your setup, awesome video lovely!! Have a great week, blessings Anita 🌻💝🐝
We use to have chickens when I was growing up . I would like to have some more . That is a great idea to put the straw under the water . Those are some nice chic houses . Thanks for sharing !!
We love it. Do you have an issues specifically that youre wondering about? We have never had any issues other than as they grow, its harder and harder to keep clean with all the poop, but as in with any brooder. With this one I find it is the easiest to clean out because I can just open the doors and slide all the old bedding out quickly and easily without breaking my back.
So awesome we can't wait to get some chicks. I'm totally stealing your heat lamp set up design lol. As always great and very informative video. Your friends Sean Jes and Jack
Yay!! Love your setup for the chicken hotel. That is genius about the hay underneath the waterer.... why did I never think of that?? Lol definitely going to start using that method!
Isn’t it a bit late in the season for you to get baby chicks, even with the heat lamp? But there are good deals at the hatcheries too right now… liquidating their stock before winter.
Nope not too late. They are ready in 8 weeks for processing. It’s not too cold overnight yet. And by the time it is cold, they are fully feathered just like the birds out in the regular coop :)
Now that’s neat you pick them up at the hatchery. We get ours at TSC, my wife was just saying we need to get some next spring. Sure are cute when they are peeps.
Nope they don’t get old enough, and even if they did they wouldn’t really lay…. Most chickens begin producing eggs at 16-22 weeks. These guys are processed at 8 weeks
That's cool. I can't wait till we get chicken nugget seeds...a d bacon seeds too. They are cute when they are little. How do you get anything recorded with Daniel talking all the time! Lol ~Jason

Nice set up for the new arrivals. So super cute. Interesting share. Nice one family.
Thanks Jerri-Ellen!!! They’re growing fast!
I like your method of vertical brooders. Do you ever have any issues with that method?
We love it. Do you have an issues specifically that youre wondering about? With this one I find it is the easiest to clean out because I can just open the doors and slide all the old bedding out quickly and easily without breaking my back.
I had a concern about heat but the bulbs you're using won't generate too much heat. Great idea about not breaking your back!!
So awesome we can't wait to get some chicks. I'm totally stealing your heat lamp set up design lol. As always great and very informative video.

Yes they’re doing great and growing very very fast!
Yay!! Love your setup for the chicken hotel. That is genius about the hay underneath the waterer.... why did I never think of that?? Lol definitely going to start using that method!
Once you do hay underneath you’ll never go back. It’s a game changer!!!! 🥰
