Thank you for this very direct recipe. As a vegan, I will substitute plant based cheeze, but the crust is half of the equation, and it looks like the best one on youtube yet.
wow that's high praise, thanks very much Brian!
Thank you! It does seem unusual, but it sure looks exceptional! I'll definitely be giving this one a try.
Hehe, indeed it certainly is different, but after a couple tries it becomes easier ... first time can be a challenge to get it just right though :(

Hello, great recipe! Have you tried freezing it? How long would it last in the fridge?
Hi Brenda, I recommend getting up to the part where you broil the dough for a couple minutes and then I would freeze it after that, would make it simpler to cover without messing around with all that sticky batter :)
Is there a substitute for corn flour and potato starch and could you do a video on gluten free cinnamon rolls?
Hi Shiffi, unfortunately that's nearly half the mix right there so I'd recommend against substitution for purposes of this recipe. Are you allergic to corn &/or potatoes? If so it's possible inspiration for a brand new recipe altogether :)
what kind of cheese did you use on your pizza, I dont like the cheese they have in the store here. willing to try other cheeses. thanks so much! I am dairy free and gluten free also.
For a very long time now our cheese of choice has been the Daiya dairy free block cheeses, specifically the 'Monterey Jack' & 'Medium Cheddar' styles. We aren't very big fans of the many other brands ... and we have certainly tried many. My wife recently brought home some of the 'Follow Your Heart' sliced cheeses, namely 'Provolone', 'American' & 'Mozeralla' ... and they are DELICIOUS. The website says they also have blocks available but haven't seen any near us yet ... those may very well be our new favourite though. Hope this helps ... feel free to PM if you need more suggestions as I'd be glad to forward you additional details. Cheers!
Are all the dry ingredients available at Bulk Barn?
Most of them are yes, although it depends on the location of course
I'm allergic to coconut coukd I use regular milk instead?
Certainly!
can the pizza crust be pre-baked & freezed?
I recommend freezing right after the broiling stage, that way you can still bake it when ready and have it taste nice and fresh
what substitute of potato starch plz ?
Try replacing with corn starch instead, and let me know how it goes 😃
2/3 cup it’s how many gram chef
You said use instant yeast, but the recipe shows active dry yeast, which is it
Hi Kristen ... good catch, I clearly hadn't had enough coffee when I recorded this. the correct ingredient is in fact active dry yeast, hence the proofing and such. Apologies for the confusion, buying extra coffee right now!
What is corn flour?
Is it maize flour?
Hi Paayel, yes corn flour and maize flour are the same thing, finely ground :)
@@ImpulsiveCulinarian thank you!
@@paayelagarwaal8766 Anytime!
I used psylium husk instead of gur gum
Indeed, it's a perfect replacement!
Can you double the recipe I have hungry men in my house.
Hi Naomi, sounds like a two-skillet job to me!
