Pro Football is very competitive; every year the game gets faster! C.J. has to regroup and bring it. Playoff time ------------------------------ The Texans have to develop shooters conscious in (basketball) no memory of previous missed shots. Record is clean! One game tournament.
CJ looks pretty good as usual. He might be aiming the ball a bit instead of just winging it; that’s what I saw a little yesterday. I think he led a couple receivers too much but I also saw receivers not helping him out. I think Diggs was injured midseason? Diggs was a pretty big loss too. But the Texans just don’t look inspired to me.
The Texans destroyed David Carr with a subpar O-line and dozens of sacks, now they're in the process of destroying CJ. The current team is incapable of executing any plays that require blocking. If the OC isn't fired it'd be a scandal in itself and they better draft some talent or CJ's doomed.
As an old Dolphins' fan I remember when Marino had his outstanding rookie season...the talk among longtime NFL defensive coaches was let's wait to see how he looks in his sophomore year after all the Defensive Coordinators have had a year of tape to study. Danny's second year he threw for his record breaking 48 TD's and led the Dolphins to the SB. Obviously CJ is no Marino.
You should always side-eye a team that goes worst to first in a division, like the Texans did last season. C.J. is a very good QB and they’re a good team. But a huge part of their success last year was because they played a last place schedule full of weak teams. Now that they have to play good teams as a division winner, you can see where they’re really at.
I know... such a disappointment... beating the Bills... losing by a FG to the Packers... floating a TD that would have helped em beat the Lions... losing to the Chiefs by one score... such a disappointment

I stopped watching when Stroud over threw the ball to a wide open Nico Collins,
this poor kid, I feel for him. his OLINE has to be the WORST! He got sacks, hit, hurt each game and each play!
I posted I was worried this year because he was on a social media tour and at the clubs during the off season.
Put Davis Mills in, set C.J.Stroud down- down, please 😢
He playing like he don’t care
This segment was gold! Thanks, Chris! Bobby needs to go.
We already know how this is going to end. We’re gonna squeak by and win or get destroyed in the wild card.
The Ravens and the Bills have had their franchise quarterbacks for 7 years. Have they won a superbowl yet? NO. So give the rookie quarterbacks some time to develop and become a juggernaut. Y'all are putting too much pressure on these rookies. Dropped the MIC 🎤
He’s a good Qb. The Texans need work on both sides of the ball. To many penalties, lots of injuries and lack of discipline. They played with no emotion on Xmas.
People fail to realize this its only year 2
maybe he not ready
Duh.
Chris Strausser as oline coach.
Bad Offensive Line
Laremy Tunsil $25.85 million
Tytus Howard $8.58 million
Shaq Mason $5.68 million
Kenyon Green $4.3 million
Teams draft a rookie and expect them to take their team to the SB by their 2nd year. There have been a few exceptions in the history of the NFL. It's not realistic. These young QBs need time to develop and gel with the system. A lot of teams dont have time and want to win, so all the pressure is these young QBs shoulders
You all don't know football. Of course cj is gonna get the blame for playing bad, but it goes hand in hand. If the coach is not sending in the right plays and the protection is bad then that's Not gonna help the qb. Idc if they had Mahomes
Boy should have been worried and took that wonderlic test
Im beginning to think shroud dont want to play here ..reminds me of deshawn watson .
Pro Football is very competitive; every year the game gets faster!
C.J. has to regroup and bring it. Playoff time
------------------------------
The Texans have to develop shooters conscious
in (basketball) no memory of previous missed shots.
Record is clean! One game tournament.
He can make it up in the playoffs.
Lol the double standard is real, everything is Brock Purdy's fault but is CJ Stroud's fault
Maybe that’s why the last guy got so many “massages” CJ….for confidence.
It’s crazy
I wonder how he feels about Kyle Hamilton now :)
Obviously
Yall make these young cats stare after 1 good yr so this is what you get. All about consistency over yrs to be a star
When teams start planning against you .... He needs to step his game up simply
Pretty much, average
I know... such a disappointment... beating the Bills... losing by a FG to the Packers... floating a TD that would have helped em beat the Lions... losing to the Chiefs by one score... such a disappointment
But they have a winning record with a harder schedule this year tho. Online and injuries were there problem.
I stopped watching when CJ took that sack on their initial drive. My Christmas day was all the better for my decision.
CJ can’t trust his line so when they do hold,he isn’t use to it
He looks like Jsn. And even talk like jsn with the “you know” 😂😂😂
Fire the coach after two seasons!!!!!! Y’all are crazy man. Stop all this please
That’s what happens when the NFL gets tape on you. Evolve or get exposed.
CJ looked like he started checking out when he threw his helmet down on the sideline after taking one of his four sacks in the Packers game. Now he's playing like he might be hurt.
NFL knows CJ games and CJ didn't advance his game in 2025-2025. Next years he needed to advance his games.
Boxing Day ain’t a religious holiday, nimrod.
David Tepper will spend millions. Cal McNair won't spend.
He needs Gruden Boot camp training
Got me missing 09 Matt schaub
Nico Collins…😵
Hanging out with micah parsons talking big shidd then coming out looking bad ..time to lock back in
CJ crys too much
literally lol
never once in my 25-30 years of watching football seen a starting QB bawl his eyes out uncontrollably over an injured teammate, and be so rattled and shaken over it that his non-injured teammates have to comfort and console him before the game resumed... everyone has emotions, seems like he struggles to maintain them through highs/lows
@@mattcarberry368 football is the closest thing we have to going into battle. i would not want to be led into a battlefield with a general who is sobbing uncontrollably. this is why a woman cannot lead men. i think some of teammates mightve been weirded out by that.
This guy tanked my fantasy season and now I cheer against him for the rest of the year
3 games in 10 days. Major Injuries at the skill positions and the O-Line. It’s just an impossible position for anyone. It’s all on CJ Stroud. They face longer 3rd downs than any other team in the league. The playcalls are too predictable.
He lost his offensive coordinator after last year. Another reason why new quarterbacks need offensive coaches. They can’t advance with a new coordinator every year.
The Texans offensive problems start with the O line. Chris Strausser the O line coach has never worked in this system and Slowick’s basic scheme is garbage that ALL teams in the NFL have figured out. Casserio as the GM really needs to earn his money in the offseason. I know there is some talk about DeMeco….. yeah it might be early for that, but whatever leadership skills he possesses, have not been on display this year and his defense has not done much against teams with a winning record.
Amazing. Maybe you guys shouldn't annoint people as GREAT after just one season.
