Fact is he isn't accurate under pressure, and it's not his line fault at all. His line is graded 10 spots higher and he has better weapons than what Herbert has in LA. SIMPLY, CJ drank his own juice and didn't put in work.. Good thing they are in one of the top 2 most garbage division in the nfl though.

I don’t want to hear it, last year Bryce dealt with SAME issues and all
He got was “He’s a bust” “Carolina needs to trade him” “Stroud was really their pick”. Now you’re seeing the results of a QB with bad protection and no weapons look pedestrian just as expected. This is exactly how CJ would’ve looked had Carolina drafted him last year.

Lamar has been with the Ravens for 7years, Allen has been with Buffalo for 6years. Y'all are putting to much pressure on these rookie quarterback and young teams. Give them a couple more years together with the same core players and then we'll talk. Continuity takes time. Just because some teams made it to the superbowl with a brand new quarterback doesn't mean everyone will. Too much pressure too soon can destroy a team. You gotta let them play together for a few years before you can expect a superbowl run. Everybody wants a superbowl now, now, now. How about just enjoying the game for what it is and let these human beings have a little fun. Enjoying the journey is more important than the destination. ❤

Simms annoying on this topic because he's usually fairly consistent on having no bias towards qbs.

All of a sudden the Bryce Young and CJ Stroud debate isn't as wide as it appeared last year.
Year 3 is absolutely massive for them both.

These young QBs need time to develop and gel with the system. A lot of teams dont have time and want to win, so all the pressure is these young QBs shoulders

But the Texans just don’t look inspired to me.

The Texans destroyed David Carr with a subpar O-line and dozens of sacks, now they're in the process of destroying CJ. The current team is incapable of executing any plays that require blocking. If the OC isn't fired it'd be a scandal in itself and they better draft some talent or CJ's doomed.

You should always side-eye a team that goes worst to first in a division, like the Texans did last season. C.J. is a very good QB and they’re a good team. But a huge part of their success last year was because they played a last place schedule full of weak teams. Now that they have to play good teams as a division winner, you can see where they’re really at.

The Texans offensive problems start with the O line. Chris Strausser the O line coach has never worked in this system and Slowick’s basic scheme is garbage that ALL teams in the NFL have figured out. Casserio as the GM really needs to earn his money in the offseason. I know there is some talk about DeMeco….. yeah it might be early for that, but whatever leadership skills he possesses, have not been on display this year and his defense has not done much against teams with a winning record.
