Pain's powerful words has made Naruto speechless for the first time in his life, and the fact that Pain willing to hear Naruto's answer about peace, and his goal was distributes the "final weapon" equally among nations instead of use it for himself, already makes him a phenomenal villain.
I guess its pain's cycle of peace:
1.People find tools to hurt eachother
2. They learn to fear these tools
3.The fear causes them to stop fighting and be temporarily peaceful
And repeat.
Man I really love Pain's speech, is quite scary how this reflects real life, big nations profiting from war, but the warzones are in little countries cause, the big nations are smart, they never have war inside their borders, and creating peace not because of understanding but knowing that the enemy has a power capable of wipe out your whole nation is enough to keep everyone at bay so they have to think twice before an all out war
It is a fake peace, is out of fear, but it works for now

Some Fans still think Naruto was Winner,It is clear Nagato was stronger than Naruto here, Naruto was trapped and That's why Hinata had to Step in.
Even during next time they meet in War Arc,Nagato Overpowers Naruto and Killer Bee together and Itachi had to save them.
Naruto had intel and pain wasnt even 100% since he wasted a lot of chakra smoking this village, not to mention he couldnt kill naruto since bro is a jinchuuriki making the fight even tougher for nagato
Naruto was only trapped because he was out of Sage Mode, the previous episode showed Pain's rods breaking on Naruto's skin when he was in Sage Mode
Naruto lost and kurama is gonna come to his rescue. He didn’t stand a chance without intel and pain wasn’t even at full power.

Nagato Can solo overpower more stronger versions of Naruto and Killer Bee.(We have seen this)
@@KaustubhRayrikar Yeah. Nagato was just on another level lol. I'm sure Prime Nagato (no emaciation or Paths of Pain, basically as he was after being rejuvinated by Bee's chakra while he was undead) could swap with Madara and the 5 Kage.

@@Zac_Frost he would get stomped by madara/hashirama, those are the only shinobi that he cant beat, all others he has atleast a chance (itachi, minato, sage kabuto, obito etc..)

Yeah, Boruto is pretty bad. The only reason it's still going is because it's got the Naruto fanbase built in. If it came out on its own, it would've been canceled.
I'm telling you guys, Pain's "philosophy" is mid, Part 1 Orochimaru was the only good antagonist, and SM Naruto gets destroyed w/o Kurama bailing him out
