500 HP Whacka
Ideas to make this fight more interesting and fun:
1. Make two whackas always attack, two always heal the lowest one, one always spawn bumps
2. When a whacka dies, make him spawn two or three red bumps
3. Make them able to switch targets mid attack, or at least when the partner dies
I know all of this is beyonds the scope of this video but would be awesome to see something like that from the modding community in the future.

They can only use their own bumps. The pattern would have to be:
1. The two highest HP whackas with bumps heal the lowest, the three that aren't healing attack or spawn bumps as needed.
2. If a whacka is out of bumps, spawn more.
3. If a whacka is at critically-low HP, out of bumps and a higher HP whacka has bumps, do nothing.
4. When a whacka dies, spawn four red bumps distributed among the survivors.
5. Whackas have a chance of switching targets mid-attack depending on how many have died.
Bonus pattern for an even harder (but not as fun) challenge:
1. Whackas have a 10% chance per turn, per dead whacka, of using an alternate attack pattern over the next two turns. But only if at least two whackas are alive and it hasn't already been used in the last five turns.
2. During the first turn of the alternate attack pattern, the highest HP whacka acts first, spawns 25 bumps (or just enough to put itself in peril if it's already at 25 HP or lower), and then the second highest HP whacka heals it. Props fall as fast as Rawk Hawk's ceiling attack, and will randomly fall on Mario and his partner during this move.
3.During the second turn of the alternate attack pattern, the whacka that spawned a bunch of bumps last turn will throw them all, rapidly switching targets mid-attack.

I've seen some people beat whacka on less than 6 turns, superguard helps way too much with those telegraphed attacks, so there should be an option for an even harder fight
Using two unsimplifiers and double pain
you can technically beat this in less than 6 turns with enough attack boost
Whacka gets a Payback buff that lasts 9 turns if he consumes a red bump, in addition to restoring 75 HP.

Why do they have 150 HP. Doesn't Whacka have 108 HP when fought. 150 is Shadow Queen HP.
idk but it makes it harder so I won’t complain. I always felt like whacka had too little HP anyway

Yeah, having those bumps alternating between mario and partners can certainly throw off your superguard timing.

Were you using double simplifier? Just asking because it pooked like mario and partners were in the superguard pose for way too long!
I didnt. One way I found to superguard whacka attack a lot was hearing the sound of the bump getting close to Mario or partners.
