Porsche 550: How to add Features

In this episode Wray actually uses clay on a Porsche 550 panel! The purpose of the clay is to show how to add features to the panel. We received information on the location of the plinth. Once we have all of the information and it's correct, we will then create a new Flexible Shape Pattern of that panel to ensure the opposite side will be an exact match.

It's a new left front fender section for a 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder. Only 98 originals made.
If you could only have one shrinking facilitator in a shop due to floor space what size facilitator would you make?
Half a clam shell shape 26" wide x 15" across x 8" deep.

When I was at school, I tried to make a clay model for a car body I'd "designed". Too bad i picked potter's clay. Not a good idea. I just managed to make a sticky mess. :-)*
