- Heavily inspired by Solider 247's works. • Project Zomboid Build ...
Middle to high, High to low tension.
I don't own this music. Composed by Zach Beever and remastered by Armin Hass.
I wanted try make them sounds like in game. the brass was REALLY AMAZING.

"All I wanted was a can opener!!"
*Being Chased by like thirty zombies*
so true
too relatable
Relatable
Game: Funny thing, we don't have that, start smoking NOW!
I never understood this until I set everything to extremely rare
The official anthem off "I'm just gonna go get one thing, then I'm heading home"
then you blink then you realise you’re exerted, bleeding, bit, drowsy, and anxious and queasy. while being hunted by a horde
@@fish-dj2hm at 1am in the night, after you wrecked your car while looking away for a second of course
Irl it's 3 am you are tired and adrenaline keeps you awake.
And somehow I escaped without getting bitten without scratching myself without falling over my two feet lost in the middle of nowhere in fucking Kentucky yet somehow laughing in insanity because I escaped
Mfw I decide to check just one more car. Boom. Alarm, now the horde is here. Too bad my only escape route was a tall fence that I was too exhausted to climb and failed twice. Overconfidence kills more than anything in this game. I could've dropped some loot to give myself better odds but no... I love this game
"I JUST WANTED FOOD"
Yeah, turns out so did the horde.
"A CAR WOULD BE REAL GOOD RN" Famous last words.
The international " I FUCKED UP I SHOULDNT BE SO GREEDY OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK " theme
Certified loot goblin moment right there
This song is like the antithesis to “Maybe We Can Win This”, instead of driving you to fight the endless horde despite your broken and tired body, this song instills you with the sense that if you don’t start planning to get away _RIGHT NOW,_ then you’re as good as dead, and even if you do, it’ll take luck to survive
I once had this play during the helicopter event (insane pop). It stayed above me from noon till 8 and my guy was hungry tired and exerted. I fled north of muldraugh which meant I was just getting into the first farmer field at 11. I also had pitch black nights on. The music is still going even as I approach the farmhouse but turns out it's full of zombies too and I'm teir 4 tired, teir 4 exhausted including various scratches sustained by bushes and enemies. I fled further into the woods and decided k this is where I die I may as well fight and I managed to kill the last two zombies I couldn't shake and it was 2 am. Patched myself up and passed out. He died a few months later because gravity
me and my friend were defending our house from a horde of 200 - 300 zombies
we could hear windows getting broken, doors falling, barricades dying, the ywere breaking in the house from everywhere, and we had guns to defend ourselves
everything was so chaotic, my friend and i were literally back to back defending our side from the wave of zombies
at one point we got overwhelmed and we had to make a run for it
my friend got a crowbar and started tearing planks apart to let us open that door while i was defending him from a litteral horde
and we escaped the house and the horde, it was pretty hectic
I came to comment exactly that.Couldn't have said it better, this is the song that you die to.
This played when a helicopter event caught my sleeping army veteran character by surprise. I first tried to stay hidden within the safehouse I was in, hoping the helicopter would leave me alone, but that fucker just kept hovering on above me. Soon, I began hearing zombies breaking in through the windows outside of my bedroom and that's when I knew it was time to GTFO.
I swung open the curtains and froze up as I saw the entire backyard getting progressively overrun by zombies, all of them surrounding an ambulance I had prepared for a quick getaway that I now had to immediately get to. Cue me sliding the window open, hopping through it and beginning to blast zombies away with my shotgun while that POS helicopter pilot kept following me around, all while the track's tension rose to its peak in the background. Leading that horde away from my base while turning around occasionally to shoot a few of them down and only realizing each time that it was only merely getting bigger and bigger was an intense adrenaline rush.
In the end, the helicopter flew away, I got into the ambulance and I managed to escape with only a couple of lacerations to a nearby farm. I like to think that my army veteran survivor probably got some Vietnam flashbacks through the whole ordeal.
a laceration doesn’t guarantee you that you’ll survive with it’s 25% of infection
died during heli because i was not paying attention and got surrounded by enough zombies to fully stun me
I like to think that the veterans in PZ are Gulf War vets.
@@coolpeeper1269 that would explain why the occupation doesn't force you to have white hair and move 50% slower
@@coolpeeper1269 depends on how old your character is. Someone who went there in '68 during the peak of the war and was 18 would be 43 years old in '93 when Zomboid takes place. Older, but definitely still survivable. But they could've served in Panama, the Tanker War, Cambodia, Grenada, or any other war between Nam and 93.
when you turn a corner and see 30 zombies:
You shot them down, now there's 50 more coming your way 💀
POV: mall entance
POV: You opened a bathroom stall
@@inactivechannel6227 Happened when I was playing a deaf man... It was awful
as they all turn to look at you and start charging you
The theme song of "Extreme panic"
"ON YOUR FEET, SOLDIER! WE. ARE. LEAVING!"
Bruh this is what mall workers hear when they open for black Friday.
They should do this song when its black friday
"Quick looting run at that medical research facility in Louisville by the mall/fire station"
*7 hours later this song is playing while my character has 2 scratches and a laceration as 4k zeds pour out of the building because some idiot there tried to make spiffo burgers taste better and accidentally started the knox event*
POV: YOU FIRED THE GODDAMN SHOTGUN
is it stealing if you credit the original poster? either way I just did it so sorry if you think it is!
This played as I was plowing through a massive horde in Muldraugh to save a trapped survivor. The music hit its climax as I pulled up to the area he was trapped in, cleared the zombies in the immediate area, and yelled "Hurry and get in the truck, there's a whole fuckin lot more coming our way!"
The drive out of town was very intense.
Multiplayer has the most realistic NPCs ever bro
Definitely not a made up story
"Anyways, then I went home and played some more Zomboid."
@@SordidusFellatio I dont even know how you can say this to that, as this scenario literally happens everyday in PZ.
I love how the “low” part of this OST has a slow tempo like it’s almost mimicking the speed of the never ending horde slowing approaching you.. leaving you to panic on what to do. then the song picks up as the heat does too and now it’s a much faster beat. the beat of a desperate person sprinting away with fear in their eyes…
*"AYO DID YOU PRESS Q MAN?!"*
My words before sprinting like Usain Bolt
I love when this starts playing in the middle of a foggy day.. becouse even if you don't see them, they can see you.
HOLY SHIT THIS ONE IS SO GOOD
My friend and i were at some mall today, and one of us accidentally shouted (that pesky Q key).
Usually a shout wouldnt bring a whole lot of zeds for us.. But not this time.
My bud told me "Dumbass, we gotta get going now. Shouldnt be a problem but yknow, better go now."
Agreeing with him, we got going on foot. We didnt realize we were completely surrounded by 3 or 4 hordes of the Undead. I couldnt say how many per horde but they were pretty big. Like 7-10 zombies each at least. We were fucking stressed out of our minds immediately and started sprinting between the hordes out of that fucking mall.
I have NO idea how we didnt die in that. We managed to get back home that night, safe.
It was a fucking insane experience and this ost just made it all the more exciting.
I love this game so much.
I think a horde is generally at least 30 zombies
7-10? What is your population on
@@dinguskhan46329 default, but we were surrounded. Again, i was stresded as hell since the Journey was pretty Long so they mightve been a lot more
"Some mall" he says
Bro must really be knew to not know the malls are probably the 2 most populated places on the map!
What's more damaging than hitting Q on accident? Pressing E instead of W while driving through a horde...
I extremely love the tension, especially around 2:19 and onward. It really gives you that adrenaline rush running off an entire horde
I love that part too! the composition and the choice for instrument sounds are perfect. I could imagine this on a zombie movie where the protagonist is just completely overrun and have no choice but fight the oncoming horde.
sometimes i there is one zombie that i can see and the game starts playing this exact part of the song until i look away and back to normal
"fuck fuck fuck" *falling down because into zombies" AW FUCK *stands up but noy fast enough and zombie did a bite of you*
AWWW FUCK
@@tailsaro "Falling down because into zombies.", "Stands up but NOY fast enough and a zombie did a bite of you." Good grammar bro.
@@Ra1ne_bow English isn't their native language.
The muted guitar with delay on 1:35 should be the default sound when you spot a zombie starting chase from afar. Not too startling, not relaxing either.
Instruments I identified in this instrumental:
1. Violin
2. Electric Guitar
3. Banjo
4. Drums
this is way better than the older one
Zach was much better at making "Hopeless" soundtracks like in build 39 and 40
@@davecroot9889 yeah but you can't be hopeless 24/7 right?
@@readytopay1488 I do agree with that but soundtacks in early build 41 weren't really fitting although they were a nice refreshment from older ones
2:29 , an entire district of zombies converges on you but you have 10 aiming and a fully loaded machine gun with 5 spare drums ready to go.. that berserk moment
then theres me trying to take on an entire town with a double barrel shotgun
That's with mods.
"I'M SORRY, I JUST WANTED TO BORROW THE CAN OPENER!"
reminds me when I started playing, this was the first song I heard while playing this game.. and usually when you hear this tense music it means zombies and problems..
Well I decided to start adventuring out thinking I’d had a couple days to set up before the zombies came..
**You survived for 2 hours and 15 minutes**
What happened is i walked down the street and a zombie started to follow me, I thought if I walked further away they would stop following me..
So I ran..
More started to show up so I continued to run..
And run..
And run…
At this point I was already carrying too much on me from my starter home..
And I saw a tall fence..
My poor Johnny..
only if I was a bit smarter you would’ve lived..
the exact same thing happened to me the first time i played
"Hah, just one zombie? I can take that."
"Oh okay, there's a few more than I realized. I'll just use my gun!"
"Shit why are there so many? They're literally coming from every direction now and I'm getting exhausted."
"F**k f**k f**k f**k f**k f---......."
this is, quite literally, with 0 exaggeration, what happens, you kill one, another comes, you kill him, 3 more get drawn over, it goes on till like 15 are over there, you pull out your gun and start firing, aiming every shot to be as quiet and efficient as possible, and then a whole HORDE of about 70-80 comes over, and it's funny because you can even start to FEEL the PC lag build up as they approach.
First day of high school for me, perfect song to listen to while getting onto the bus, wish me luck yall
Bro trust me, listen to maybe we can win this on your last day,It will be a really beautiful and amazing experience!
for me what is annoying is that this song plays when there is like 1-3 zombies and NEVER when im running away from a horde of 60 of em
what i love about pinpoint hearing and max travel distance is how one part of town can seem every empty but as soon as you press q or make a loud noise, zombies are flooding out into the streets and from the tree line
My character was unemployed reader with an issue of hearing and having awful luck, everytime I hearing this music whenever I go out for looting it's feel like I make a plan that I got only one shot to make it done, and sound.
Adrenaline rushing like hell, fear and panic mixing together like shellshocked soldier, it's instantly giving my an idea to clearing small to medium horde by standing a bit far away and let some of them see me so I can bait to the same spot and keep hitting them with a metal pipe, I keep doing it until music end and finally get an ice cream in someone's house.
Man I truly loving this game
Nobody:
Project Zomboid when theres only 3 zombies: 0:00
this is the perfect Project Zomboid soundtrack for me. the sheer horror experienced when your emotions go on such a roller coaster ride along with the dynamic music as more zombies appear with your chance of survival finishing really fucking makes this the perfect zombie song imo. it’s on par with 28 days later’s main theme they both just know how to sound so depressingly scary
(Had the superb npc mod)
So I had a survivor group of atleast 12 and we were inside this house that was our makeshift base, then a random survivor (not in my group) shot a zombie attracting a horde, I was in Louisville so a massive horde started converging on my group, I managed to escape but I was the only one who made it out, the adrenaline rush was real.
Why ? Why make a base in Louisville? This is like trying to clear rosewood jail with a melee character and no melee weapon.
(I did try that... Bad idea)

@@dominicsouthern7672 understandable, have a great day.
Когда тебе нужно расчистить улицу Риверсайда и ты стреляешь в воздух...
god this game's music is so fucking good...
This song started playing when a house alarm went off next to me and I was freaking out when I saw the hordes swarming that house, they then saw me and broke into the house I had to flee as hundreds swarmed I then jumped a fence while running and tripped causing one grandma to grab me and slow me down so the horde could chomp on my fat booty. I was new to the game and spawned in West Point which yeah never spawn in West Point is what I learned as just a window breaking will attract 10 zombies it seems
When you get into an argument with the popular girl
when you hope that the situation will not become worse, but this song start playing
me: quivering in fear irl at the very sight and feeling of sprinters existing
me after overrun starts playing: you little shits are about to get whacked here and now
“Okay, I’m going to this house to find a can opener”
*house alarm goes off*
*Overrun starts playing*
“Shit”
This song means two different things for people. The first most common one being “oh my god how is there so many”, the second one being “MoLoToV”
im so addicted to this game my friend blasted this music on my spoeakers and i actually looked outside my real life window
The official theme song of "ok just one more gas can"
If you're alone in the street, then hear a window shatter and this music, RUN
this is the sort of music that makes you want fight a horde of zeds with everything you have. its grand
Famous last words:
“Hey guys, I’m heading to the crossroads mall”
haha beever go brrr
Ah yes the “accidentally pressing Q” song
When your truck stalls in the middle of a highway swarmed with zeds
this is great, i listen in both ears and i get a ton of goosebumps😂😅
That's it. After two winters and many more meals I've already have everything I need and life is getting dull. There's a time on a man's life where mortality begin to feel important and divine. Almost alluring. There's a time to live and a time to die. It's time to test myself on the arena of the gods. See you in the rooftop of the mall or in hell!
This is how you died.
Я помню как убил целую толпу используя лишь сковороду, забор, и витамины, когда у персонажа была выносливость 2
For what this is the song of extreme panic for many... for others, this is the battle of a City Player vs all of West Point in a helicopter event.
City enjoyer
My three friends and I with a shit load of guns “their breaking in!” *gunfire*
Today I cleared the prison, my first visit to the prison in solo. I wanna tell you that I was in control and that was some nice exploring, but i'm still shaking. The fear kicked in after around 200 zombies, when I realized that I couldn't just go home whenever I wanted and that I was condemned to keep hacking and shooting endlessly without knowing when it was really over.
God I know the feeling
Now i wanna do that
Going to the prision is for a killing spree & adrenaline rush!1!1!!
It's epic!!1!!
How much ammo did you carry and what ammo type were ya usin?
@@JohnWayneGuan don't really remember but I took something in the order of 9mm x 200 and shells x 150 that I always take on trips and failed miserably at the outskirts. Second run I bought 9mm, .45 six shooter and a shottie. My bag was only ammo, some food and another bag. I went in.
At 3:59, you've already been bitten so, you're bleeding and don't have a bandage or ripped sheet, you jumped a fence and fell and now you're limping, you are "ridiculously tired" from so much strikes, so your nightstick is about to break, and there's 20 more zombies chasing you. This is hell. You have to survive.
I love this game.

This song basicly informs you that youve pushed far enough, and rest is needed. If you dont get out of here, or plan to do so. Your screwed.
i hear this everytime i play and i love it
When I'm listening for zombies I never hear how great the music is 🧟. Never disappointed.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA: The theme.
What the zombies hear when I set up an outpost in Louisville and retaking the entire military quarantine fence in 3 days:
Edit: I’ve taken the small fire station 1400 kills later, I’m just getting started though obviously, liberating Louisville without the use of fire will not be easy.
pov:a horde of sprinters approaching:
When the house alarm goes off in Louieville.
the best pz soundtrack for now i think
Top 10 theme for PTSD in gamers. Anytime this plays you know the horde is ALOT bigger then you thought..
I may be crazy but does anyone else hear a little bit of Shark Tank in this track?
Yeah I think I’m just crazy
I will always remember this for a time when I spawned in Louisville (thanks random spawn mod), had no weapons, had a scratch on my foot after crashing my bike, and max exhaustion after trying to kick 2 zeds to death which quickly ballooned into a horde of 20. I was so slow that the zeds were outpacing me. The only reason I survived for as long as I did was because the zeds attack animation was slightly too long. I eventually caught a tree and was surrounded. Rip Pvt Kowalski
They desecrated a war memorial.

I remember the first time this played was on my 3rd ever run, pure horror movie stuff which happened. I opened a bathroom to 5 zombies, ran downstairs to find 10 more zombies, ran outside to find zombies scattered all over the place whilst this playing, fr felt like a horror movie or something
MY FAVORITE PROJECT ZOMBOID MUSIC ITS SO GOOD
Rise to the Louisville anthem
I was looting a small house nearby my base, like a street down, and look out the window to see like 20 zombies. One spots me and i hear this theme start blaring. As you could you assume, i bolted and hid in my base. All i got was chips, i didn't get to loot it all. Luckly they lost me and i got home fast. I have now marked that part of my map with a skull.
correle shavo nos llegan los zombis...
this song sounded when i shot my gun at the infected hospital..
ha yes, the ost that plays when I step outside my starting house and my character has cowardly and agoraphobic
some people find this track horrifying, to me it's like it's telling me i'm about to have the best time of my life (i don't play project zomboid but its giving me fight for your life vibes)
I turned a corner In Louisville with sprinters on and it was basically that one scene from twd in Atlanta
the soundtrack tells a story
I love this so much
This was in my like videos and I was so confused when i was listening to music & all of a sudden this started playing. I was like "wtf there aren't even any zombies i'm just building a base"
Best theme when you wake up quite late

Truly frightening enough to make hairs rise on a veteran of the apocalypse.
Do these play when certian events happened because i never knew how they worked for a while
it just plays it when you encounter multiple zombies
always playing with insane pops in luisville makes this acurrate😂
Banger
Burning zombie horde passing through your home. Didn't have any valuables there anyway, now did you?
"Its just an gas station. What could possibly go wrong?"
When you first drive through Louisville
Is this OST dynamic in-game?
Yep, as it says in the video description, this recording goes medium to high to low tension
When kill 30 zombies, become killer.
Way better than I Think We Can Win This
