You can test it, have your skybox and freeview box both on at the same time on the same channel and switch back and forth between the 2 boxes. You will notice the broadcast coming through the sky satellite network is 3-4 seconds delayed from the freeview broadcast.

@@remssser2256 oh of course he's far from fluent but i found that more comical rather than awkward, the only awkward bits were where he was waiting for the audio to come through and just stares at the camera a la 08:15 The way he answers he obviously fully understands it as soon as he hears it. We get the same delays when it's english pundits on location abroad and they talk to the studio back in England. if you switch between your freeview box and your skybox on the same channel you'll see the sky satellite broadcasts are about 3-4 seconds behind the freeview ones.
