I grew up watching Thierry Henry and Alessandro del Piero scoring goals, what legends!
Fifa 2004 cover Goated with them
Now you get to watch Mbappe and Immobile!
Those CL games were something else. It doesn't feel the same anymore.
And now we have Mbappe, Giroud, Kvaratskhelia, Lukaku and Immobile. What legends!
I agree it was like waiting for something special, Ronaldinho,Madrid with Zidane, deporting la coruna in quarter finals, Porto with deco,Monaco with Morientes.
Micah: "How was my italian?"
Jamie: "LIKE YOUR FOOTBALL!" i lost it 🤣🤣
5:26 moments
5:06 oh at the same time .
Kids don't know How iconic it is to have henry and del Piero together ... Good old days 🥺
Fifa 04 cover
Lies again? Ask Children They Know
Micah chiming in with "Baresi" is hillarious.. Dude probably never even saw the man play 🤣
😂😂😂 facts
No one in this comment section did
i'm ngl I just know Pirlo, Maldini, and Grosso lol. and of course Mr. del Piero
Shocked Micah did not say Balotelli for banter. Micah is far too young to know of Baresi
@@charleshan0207 Totti? Cannovaro?
Thierry is genuinely funny. This channel is much more likeable than Sky Sports or BT.
They are so funny indeed
?
My first day of watching this show. This is amazing. The ESPN FC folks are great too. But damn, I wish I had more Thierry
That's cause it's an American show and in America they do well with sports stars just cutting up on each other and bantering. They do it with the NBA on TNT with Shaq, Kenny, Charles Barkley. In the UK many of the shows just can't get the balance right of fun and football. I think the American shows don't have 100 years of football tradition, they can try new things, let personalities shine through. And Sky tries to be serious but then often that one pundit i forget his name just says nothing of substance. The guy that spent 3 days saying so and so had put a bid in for United when they hadn't.
And i'd add i've seen lots of times in comments one Micah is on a UK show people saying they hate him. But i think he fits American sports tv where they embrace and love a personality who can take a joke cause the audience loves that sort of guy.
Having del piero on this is really refreshing to see, would love to see him on more english language shows
they’re not compatible there is some akwardness after his comments about the lukaku incident, if you’re watching you”ll notice he isnt there anymore lol
@@hugh7547 What comment and what incident? :D
@@SanxBile it was an awkward exchange between henry and del piero about racism in Italian football. del piero said that the racism in italy was getting better, and henry was like he faced the same thing when he played for juve and del piero was like yeah but it’s gotten better, and henry was like not really.
Henry was like lukaku shouldn’t have been sent off, and del piero was like yeah they need to give players time to get out their celebrations before the referee decides to address the celebrations inferring that lukaku’s celebration warranted a card. the whole exchange was tense and awkward
@@hugh7547 Thanks!
@@hugh7547 tbf when a topic like that comes up it's very hard not to make it awkward
Alessandro Del Piero! What a player he was. What a legend. Class. My favorite ever.
Micah Richards is just funny and makes the show lovely 😍 😂😂😂
He needs his own UA-cam channel.
Del Piero was one of the reasons I started watching football. It was Italy’s run in the 2006 World Cup that made me fall in love. That whole squad was nasty; Del Piero, Totti, Pirlo, Gattuso, Nesta, Cannavaro (I even bought his jersey after the tournament).
same, I bought Buffon's. What a legendary performance he had in the grand final
Del Piero is one of the best in his time. Together with Pippo.
@@trevizee806 can’t believe I forgot Buffon, he’s a legend. Didn’t Italy only concede 2 goals that entire tournament? Zidane penalty and I think an own goal.
@@samuelafewerki291 yessir, zaccardo. Best defense ever
Materazzi
Thierry flexing his italian and Micah butchering it is what i wanted to see
But ''Salsa' is not Italian, He tried to be too clever there!
Thierry had plenty of.time to practice, he wasn't doing anything for Juve he as to focus on.
@@mediacenterman8583salsa in italian means "sauce", so.... it makes sense
@@kb5509 exactly. Idk why he said "I'm gonna TRY Italian" as if it was spontaneous. Micah literally had the Italian written on his card
@@mediacenterman8583 salsa is also italian my man, It means sauce.
In my eyes (and heart), it'll always and forever be, "The Divine Ponytail"........Roberto Baggio!😍. As a young kid growing up in Africa, I remember him from my first world cup, Italia ‘90 and then again in USA ‘94. He may not be the greatest in the history of the game, but he'll always be in my top 3 favourite players, ever (Maradona, Messi, Baggio)👌. I also idolized Del Piero in my 20's, when Italian football was shown on Channel 4, every Sunday mid-morning, in the early 2000's in the UK👏
Maldini totti baggio ADP pirlo
Yep Baggio was amazing 🎉
@@jd-rm4ezThat was a great show, presented by Richardson (he was great). I'd just arrived in London as a wide eyed young man, znd just starting to figure out my way in this world. Oh the memories...😳
Baggio deserved to win USA 94. Shame how it ended, i remember watching it as a young kid in Africa, and being so heartbroken, and i'm not even Italian!😥
Damn you old
For we all italians Baggio is the best
Del Piero and Henry together is beautiful, they’re apart of the greatest FIFA intro of all time alongside Ronaldinho (FIFA Football 2003)
Best FIFA ever.
❤😭
If im not wrong it was fifa 04
@@matteoinvernazzi4331 u qre correct
FIFA 2004, the best FIFA ever that time. That was my memories.
This show is the best man, Del Piero is a very awesome guest on the show
I grew up watching amazing players like Del Piero and Thierry Henry!
True legends of the game.
TIER 1.
😂😂😂 thierry's face when he said he was gonna do it in italian
Wow, they actually got the legend Del Piero, what a player and a class man.
I love Del Piero on the show! Please keep him
The goal Del Piero scored against Fiorentina it was incredible
It would be hard to control or touch the ball and he goes and scores it 😅
Why did Micah cut him off on his Gattuso story
Can someone ensure Alex gets asked this question at some stage in the future.. 😭
Missed thus guy! Del Piero, what a legend. And really fun guy, wouldn’t be bad if he stayed, they have good chemistry
let the man speak.
Micah: "How was my Italian?"
Jaime: "Like your football"
Me:😂😂😂
Now I am dying to hear the story of Gatusso! Man what a player!
Shame they didn't allow him to explain.
This guy was my hero growing up. The original number 10!
Del piero should be regular on the show..so funny person.
I'm absolutely made-up Del Piero plumped for that unbelievable Fiorentina goal. I still remember watching it on Football Italia like it was yesterday.
There are some players that one always loves to see again after they retire, because they transcend clubs. Pinturicchio is one of those players.
Great to see Del Piero on the show!
del piero is the reason i love football
This is quickly becoming the best show on TV
the reason why he remembers the date of the goal is, because it's the day (or the day after) his father died. He dedicated that goal to him - coincidentally this goal really was at least one of the best in his whole career as it seemed physically impossible to score like this. I guess he didn't explain it, not to put them in an awkward situation - what a man.
His father died after 2000. Goal for his father alex scored against Bari
im dying from this chemistry
amazing panel
I mean, Thierry Henry is a true legend, World Cup Winner, Champion's League winner, part of the invincibles team, and look how much he respects other great players, it's just incredible how he is well mannered.
All respect to Madini, Del Piero, Pirlo, Baressi, Toti etc but the greatest Italian footballer of all time is Roberto Baggio without a doubt.
I aggre iil divino codino
All of us Italians who had the pleasure of seeing Roberto Baggio play in his time, just mentioning his name gives us shivers. As an Italian, without a shadow of a doubt the player who made me love football as a child, together with Maradona, and certainly one of my favorite players of all times, if not the favorite together with Ronaldo (the Brazilian) of his best times, certainly my favorite Italian player, although I also have great respect for Del Piero, another impressive name in Italian football.
Del Piero english is better than Harry Kane
Finally.. i found this comment...
He’s absolutely a legend ❤
Leggenda del calcio italiano 🇮🇹. Henry's Italian pronunciation, 👌perfect 😊
Alex it’s good to see you one of the best Italian soccer players.
Micah Richards : How is my Italian
Jamie Caragher : Like your foodball
I felt that from here
Dear CBS,
KEEP THE CONTENT COMING!
Sincerely,
Football Fans
in this era, u got so many legends as well. thats the good old times.
Great player and true İtalian gentleman.
What a player- Always terrified me whenever a team a liked played against a side where he was in.
That was hilarious! Made my day. Thank you 😊
I would never thought that some day I will see football legends (and Micah) singing U2 song together.
Baggio is def up there as one of the Italian goats
As a Juventus fan who grew up watching Del Piero, when he says he's gonna take the penalty to save his life, that still gave me shivers.
When Micah tried to ask in Italian l died 😂😂
Ah brilliant. He’s who I thought of in response to the title. Absolute legend.
Still remember del pierro scoring the 2nd goal against Germany in the 2006 wc semi final, was supporting Italy all tournament and very happy they won it
Same here mate i'm a madrid fan but i support juventus in italy and the national team all because of grande alex , was sooo happy when he scored that goal , he deserved more but even if he did that one was a special one and had his signature all over it
Juve fan here and I think I can speak for every football fan when i say. Maldini is the defenition of football royalty. He is foodball personified. All of us who where lucky enough to watch him play can only admit his greatness.
CBS you are blessed. What great entertainment
How in hell he didn't say that goal in the final against Borussia.
Best player, Roberto Baggio of course.
Go check the goal v Fiorentina and you'll see why😅
@@federicorighetti8578 I'm familiar with it, great goal, but it's more by accident than brilliance in my opinion, we see goals like that more often, still think the one against Dortmund was better.
Because he lost that match, that probably the great goal he didn't want to remember for
Baggio is definitely the greatest italian player. The most gifted player ever in italian football.
I don't know but I was smiling throughout the whole video. Top tier company this
Definitely don’t do quickfire next time with Del Piero
Brilliant stuff as usual but come you've got a legend there willing elaborate you can't cut him off with next question 😂
"How's my italian"
"Like your football"
Savage
That goal against Fiorentina I remember it like it was today what a goal a long ball from Jarni Del piero one touch with outside the foot in the back of the net ! One of the best goals I have ever seen I remember ravanelli face was speechless
Why on earth do they cut every single answer? let the man talk for gods sake
Kate, Titi, Jamie and Micah are the Champions League version of Inside the NBA, and that's high praise.
Alesandro Del Piero legend of the game
The best penalty scorer I've ever seen
Micah👏👏😂😂😂 that last part killed me... I don't even speak Italian😅 but since Jamie said it sounds like how he played, I'm guessing it's Alright😅🙌
hahaha yeah thats was funny
Makes it so hard watching this show when Micah Richards is talking over Del Piero. I’d love to hear his insight
Yeah, that was a shame, it would've been nice to hear more from Del Piero.
Fantastic chemistry between them all.
How dare Richards question legends like henry and Del piero
Thiery just here to flex his Italian
One of my fav players when I was younger, was a generational Italian talent and so elegant.
I remember at one point he was the top all time (at the time) scorer in champions league 👏
what a legenddd
This team is the best, please don't break them up 😂😂😂😂
Let Alessandro finish his sentences next time
Legend Forever.
The three interviewers should let Del Piero talk more ...
One of my favourite players growing up!
Good to see the legend Del piero
He can remember cause Back then matches were all in the afternoon sunday... Lovely times❤
Del piero has achieved more than kdb or haaland will when it comes to international football!
Yes, but he played for Italy.
Maldini and Baresi are two titans of football, so I'll take both as well.
Special Greetings to the amazing LEGEND. ( ALEX DEL PIERO).
I swear i know he gona say Gattuso 😂😂😂
4:55 Piero typical italian hand gestures lmao
Grande Capitano. Amazing player, thanks for everything and also great English Capitano.
90s 2000s Italy national team just had a ridiculous amount of world class talent. Roberto Baggio, Fabrizio Ravanelli, Gianluca Vialli, Christian Vieri, Gianfranco Zola, Del Piero, Totti. Am I missing out anyone?
Come on !! Everybody knows that Baggio is the goat in italy and one of the best 5 ever over the world.
Man, Del Piero gave Micah the DOUBLE 🤌🤌, he really didn't understand a single word hahahaha
Player that i dreamed play for Ac Milan. Legend and humble.
Alex's suit for the second UCL matchday👏👏👏
Del piero grandissimo raye di mondo
Najbolji talijanski nogometaš. Legenda.
Micah and the rest of the group have big connections very entertaining fun to watch ..
Kate ❤
I want ADP on this show ore. Hes my hero.
del Piero converted his penalty in Champions League final and World Cup final. He's right to pick himself.
3 UCL winners and Micah Richards
Sacchi's Milan will always be my favorite team of all time. Pep's Barca will go down in history as arguably the greatest team ever, but I think that Milan side of the late 80s and early 90s would get a result against them.
del piero got the charisma
Delpiero is soo humble
dude I had no idea this guy could speak english but it shouldn't be this big of a surprise lol love the guy, I have him in my master league club now jahahahah
This is like the round table of Arthur of legends
More of a right angle.
It's sad the newer generation don't know how Iconic these two were back then.. just to sums this up.. look up the Fifa 2004 cover... you will see Ronaldinho,Henry,Del Peiro on it... this is how legends they were.
