Best trailer ever! The trailer answered everything that people were whinging about as far as Thanos is concerned. He has both of his looks, and he clearly is ready to tear the Avengers apart. Visuals are stunning, the structure is perfect. Definitely worth the wait for this. Not to mention that presale tickets have already blown past BP! In six hours!
No offence to DC fans, as I love DC too...but you had your chance. I hope that Warner Bros takes careful notes, cause this is how an ensemble cinematic event is done!

Part of what make infinity war great is that
It was never a one sided fight
Thanos became the hero of the story
And stripped the very strength that avengers hold
Their unity and their confidence/bravery to save the world
They lost on both ends

Do you have any idea how many half assed reactions I've had to watch today whilst waiting for you to get your collective shit in order? There is so much happening in this movie that my face can't fucking contain it all. This is only the first half of Infinity War, but I still want it to be six hours long with an intermission so I can piss and refill my popcorn.

I am speechless!! So much going on in this trailer. One quick observation. We hear Gamora explaining in voiceover who Thnos is. Now, recall that she tells Peter Quill in GotG that Thanos was not her father because he killed her father. I think that tiny green hand in Thanos’s hand is a flashback scene showing how he took her to be his “daughter“. I also can’t wait for the banter that going to happen between Stark, Strange and Quill (they are all quick witted and have big egos.) love the reaction guys! Too bad Raven wasn’t there. This trailer was mad sick! No lie, I was watching trailer...so as I saw Capts badass scene with Thanos, holding back his hand...i got up, put my shoes on, got in my car, drove to theater & bought my ticket. Capt is the straight up leader of them all, he's gonna lead them to some sort of victory, whether it cost him his life or not

Mayhemm007 I know how strong thanos is & could be. Thanos even knows how strong he is, that's why you see that look of struggle & wtf look on his face. Even with 1 arm he's powerful, so for capt to resist it back with pure strength & heart, that got thanos looking like Thor when he barely moved his hammer.

Oh yeah. The anticipation for this movie was AMAZING. And it paid off. What Marvel did their first ten years is truly amazing. When Dark World is considered your worst film and it’s still above average.

Captain America holding back Thanos will always be my favorite part of this movie!
Okay i got chu:
The black order captures the Asgardian ship from Thor Ragnarok. Then Loki gives Thanos the Space Stone like we've seen. (there might b a chance Loki dies). Thor sends hulk to earth so he can warn them. (shown on 1st trailer). Then Thanos is crushed by Thanos who throws him in space where The Guardians find him. The guardians where heading to earth since thr collector and nova corps have been attacked and the stones have been taken. The Avengers prepare to fight Thanos. Iron Man, Spidey, and Doctor Strange go to the vessel to stop Thanos. Spidey, Iron Man, and the guardians meet up, but Strange is captured. Thor is making his new weapon with Groot and Rocket. Hawkeye is in a solo mission. All attempts to stop Thanos fail (possibly Iron Man, Thor, and Drax die in the process). Then they all retreat to Wakanda where Thanos goes to find Vision for his stone. Therefore Hulk uses the hulkbuster (which is later destroyed as shown) but he fights without it. Cap faces Thanos to stop him but is defeated and The Black Order takes Visions stone.
This is actually completely plausible man it gave me chills reading this

I was thinking the same thing about the beginning. They wipe out the Asgardian ship, force Loki to hand over the Tessaract by threatening Thor, then kill Loki. Sets the tone that Thanos does not. fucking. play. games.
This is pretty close to the actual movie.

Thanos’s back storey in a nut shell. He’s not about wanting to rule the universe so much as he is literally in love with the embodiment of death. Thanos as a Titan can’t die, and is fascinated with it. He believes that “death” will love him back if he “balances” the universe. He believes death has quested him with this task.
Just going to throw some of my notes, ideas, and theories at you. You asked, so here we go:
1. It seems that the scene where Thanos is holding Thor's head could possibly be him forcing Thor to watch Loki die at the beginning of the film. An early death of a longstanding character sets the tone and raises the stakes.
2. The Russo brothers stated Banner/Hulk has a 3 movie arc with the release of T: Ragnarok so there's no chance he dies in A:IW
3. I do agree we could see the MCU trinity die. Cap because: Evans wants to start directing and his character arc is complete. Thor because his contract is done and Thor has also had a complete arc, but his new revival leads me to believe he's the least likely of the 3. Iron Man: RDJ's contracts are insane, been here since the start and his death can literally and symbolically usher in a new era, his death will mean so much for Peter moving forward.
4. Shuri looked like she was working on a way to remove the stone from Vision and he would still live.
5. Russo brothers have stated Hawkeye is on a personal journey in this film. It seems that an event (family dying) is going to turn him into Ronin and he'll become a violent antihero. Rumors suggest his arc takes place in Japan. A suggested theory believes he's in search of the Soul Stone. (I don't dig this theory, personally)
6. Peter Dinklage is on the poster and people think he'll play one of the Black Order or the dwarf that forges Thor's new weapon.
7. I still personally believe Heimdall encompasses the Soul Stone. The MCU likes living MacGuffins and this would fit perfectly.
8. Wouldn't it be fitting for Thanos to die at the hands of Gamora and Nebula?
9. We saw hints of Captain Marvel in the previous trailer. We could possibly see them unveil a character for a brief moment we didn't expect to see such as Warlock, Nova, Namor, or someone else.
10. Avengers 4 will most certainly involve time travel shenanigans and I think this could be Marvel's way to retcon the X-Men and give them an in to the MCU at large.
Jerrad But if you notice Thor's face looks CGI when you pause it, I believe that's Loki disguised as Thor on the ship so that Thor could escape with the Guardians, if u remember the other trailer showed Thor talking to them! So I think somehow he escaped with them and Loki stayed behind
That could be true but I have to disagree. We heard that the footage from SDCC last year had Thor crashing into the Guardians' ship. We've also seen Hulk crashing into the Sanctorum. I don't think anyone is sneaking away. We'll see though.
