NordicTrack Commercial 1750 Treadmill: Is it really a commercial quality treadmill?

    I spoke with NordicTrack about this. Their response was that the frames are similar to commercial quality, but I agree, the naming convention they use are very misleading.

      Thanks, Louis! I guess I should've asked them how they justify the "commercial" claim. At least they have something, even if it's lame. It's obviously not similar enough for them to extend their warranty to commercial use.

      @@TreadmillSprinterYW Treadmill Sprinter! :) I also observed that in their commercial series the motor they use is described as a CHP DurX™ Commercial Plus Motor, varying in CHP depending on the model. So maybe the motors used in their commercial line are of a better quality than their other lines? Alas, I cannot find any documentation of these type of motors though.

      Thanks! Calling this treadmill commercial not only seems deceptive to potential buyers, but it also seems unfair to the companies making legitimate commercial treadmills.
