26:15 heroes do not have to meet the requirement for the succeeding steps. “Remember that as soon as a player places the Hero on the Quest Card, that player no longer needs to meet the requirements of subsequent Quest Steps” Starting Quests
Great quick how to play video. During setup, players actually choose their hero and place it on the board with politest in reverse turn order (counter-clockwise), with the last one player placing their hero going then first and going clockwise
Hello congratulations for the video, I have a question .... Artifacts, (as reported on the action summary card), can only be used in the "REGULAR ACTIONS" phase, but there are some artifacts that have their effect during a Hunt ......... so? Can they be used when the text requires it or what?
Love it! great work. if you can do a Kornos if you have the KS as there none video on this so far. Game is highly recommend our group are addicted to it now, specially with all the added variations.
Nice video. FYI - The way you described the hunt is incorrect. If you inflict at least one wound and successfully block the monster's attack (and the monster's attack card doesn't specify that the hunt has ended), then the active player DRAWS TWO CARDS AND REPEATS THE PROCESS. So, they would continue the hunt by playing one or more cards (hopefully the two they just drew have some needed symbols) and hopefully blocking the monsters attack and continuing again until either the monster is defeated or the hunt ends unsuccessfully. This is IMHO the most exciting part of the game. It's a great push your luck mechanism. The way you described the hunt only allows for doing a few damage at best and then your opponents can potentially finish off the monster before your turn comes around again. The last thing you want to do is soften the monster up for your opponents!
Good job on the tutorial. I have one question when you talk about recruit special action u say place 2 hoplites in every region. But isn't it only in regions with a city or sparta?
I hope to use this video as a primer for new players. One correction... the blue area does not count as a land win condition for three or LESS players. I also like your Monumental video. I think that will be the next game for the group after LOH.
Loving the guides you’ve been doing on root! Actually I have a poll going on and it seems likes majority wants to see that next vs marvel champions... from all the coverage on root I’m sure I will 🥳
Great job with this tutorial. Continually summarizing what youve taught is a great addition.
Thank you! Always happy to hear you find the video helpful, happy gaming!

That was the best intro for a board game tutorial I've seen.

First video I’ve seen from your channel, very nicely done.

Nice job on this tutorial! Very helpful compared to some other tutorials I watched.
This was very helpful, thanks for making this video!
Always happy to hear that! Glad you found the tutorial helpful!
Nice video. My only advice is to explain the purpose or goal of the game at the beginning before starting the setup. Cheers!
Great video, thank you. Amazing paint job on those mini’s - did you do that yourself?!
thank you! and NO way! hahah i actually got the paint as part of their kickstarter option

Ah! By that I meant every city *under your control! So yes, in turn it would definitely be for every city/Sparta that you control!
Also you can build a temple in any region *you control* containing a shrine
this was top-notch quality tutorial, thx
Hope you had a great gaming session!!

ah yes sorry about the wording! Happy to hear you enjoyed it though! Monumental would be a fantastic segway for your next game!
I can’t believe I still haven’t played this. It looks so sick 😂
Hahah you’d have a ton of fun! It’s insanely good, def one of my top games so far 👍
Tim Chuon Mabye it shall be my next bigger buy. Do you like root at all?
Loving the guides you’ve been doing on root! Actually I have a poll going on and it seems likes majority wants to see that next vs marvel champions... from all the coverage on root I’m sure I will 🥳
