There were missions where you protect the car you are a passenger in (Bonding Experience, Laundry Day, and Rescue Johnny). The VIP missions were Crowd Control activities where you *protect* a celebrity from crazed fans in a limited space.

Riley Kard Simple: As many companions in Skyrim, her AI was a bit faulty, so sometimes, when you try to sneak on a bandits hideout or try to walk across a trap, she would either run straight forward like a one-mind idiot or shout a battle cry that ruined your coverage.

I liked Ben, he was just a kid under pressure making the wrong choices and he didn't have the bravery to function in a world of that extent of brutality. He is the most realistic character in the first TWD game.
I found the owl more of an annoyance then Navi. Navi may be constant, but the owl's dialogue just goes on forever, often when you open up a new area and want to explore it, and if you just try to skip though it, it repeats. Navi is at least slightly useful. Also I gotta say that the Duck Hunt dog isn't that bad.
You should have been around XIII boards at the time of release. Everyone seemed to think it. The typical argument is that Hope had reason to behave so badly. Vanille had her reasons for her behavior too.
I've NEVER understood the hate for Ashley from RE4. If anything she's a prime example of how escort missions should be done. I suppose I can understand some people not liking her personality but honestly I thought it was a realistic, she was just a preppy college kid, of course she'd freak out when some of this shit happens. If anything she mans up pretty quick and doesn't do much complaining after the first hour or so. And gameplay wise she's pretty much perfect, she always stays out of your line of fire, she sticks close to you so enemies are unlikely to hit her or capture her, and toward the middle of the game she even solves some problems herself. I genuinely don't get the hate, especially when we've got Sheva over here shooting into walls, using all your healing items and jumping into chainsaws.
Now I haven't played Final Fantasy X in ages, but I do remember the kid in purple robes from the beginning of the game being somewhat annoying. It just bugged me that he would just appear randomly to mock you. Tidus was a little annoying as well.

You know how in "The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time" you can catch those pink fairies that refill you health by using glass bottles? You have no idea how much I would love to put Navi into one of those bottles.
Soren Daein Talking in mumbled up gibberish and constantly interrupting the gameplay with unneeded Calculations of obvious events isn't a very good substitute, at least Navi offered useful advice about areas that involved using the controller, since it was the first Zelda game on N64, Zelda games were already established on the Wii, so Fi literally has nothing else to do but give you unnecessary calculations. Honestly, why bother explaining the percentages, bypassing dungeons and killing enemies is literally our only goal.
I don't really mind Vanille now but when the game first came out I thought her voice, manurissms (sp) lies, and sexual moaning during battles were very annoying.

hi. another annoying person could be Moira from fallout 3. she brought obtimism to irritating levels sometimes. yes, I do agree that it's good to have at least one person showing a cheerful and optimistic nature no matter what happens, but she brought it to seriously annoying levels. another one could be Frank in lego city undercover, when ever he keeps constantly contacting you to ask if you have something done, when you wish he'd leave you alone to get another thing done such as building something for example, or doing something for somebody else. I think Frank might be the worst one, the girl isn't too bad, I don't remember her name. you could always do a list of irritating sounds that warn you of things in video games such as low health, the constant beep beep beepings in the Zelda and pokemon games likely drove people insane, and I mean literally insane. apparently some of the game over tunes or sounds in video games are so cheerful and happy sounding that it's almost as though the game is literally taunting you or laughing at you for losing. audio in video games is hugely, hugely unnoticed, most people are too busy viewing the graphics to really listen. for example, in a creepy room in a game, you'll see what looks like a baby's room, and if you approach the empty cot, you can hear a woman and baby simultaneously crying, but, if you listen carefully enough, you'll also hear a music box playing rock-a-bye-baby, but you have to really listen to hear it. it's the same in prey, when you go in to the possessed children's room, you'll hear rock-a-bye-baby being played eerily in the background as you shoot at the children. you have to listen carefully to hear these things, most people don't notice them. even in deadspace 2, when you're going round the dark corridors, there's a bit where you can here a baby crying in the distance, and if you actually follow the sound, I think there's actually a woman with a baby. I don't know if you can do anything though.

Am I the only one that remembers how annoying that f****ng beetle from Donkey Kong 64 is? 1. You race him not once... but twice! 2. You have to navigate a slide while collecting coins AND win, this would be fine if he didn't f****ng somehow navigate it himself like a god. I never actually found Navi that annoying. She is actually very helpful with exploiting an enemy's weak spot, locating hidden dungeons, and without her, there would be no lock-on mechanic. The only time I actually find her annoying is when she told me to get moving to my next location... when I'm already on my way there. Besides that, nothing else bugged me
How about Alisa from Tekken 6? in the Scenario mode she always gets in your way(like confronting the opponent when you charge at him-she blocks your attacks), and when you need her the most, she dies instantly. and not even mentioning the fact that doing the whole damage to the boss, and she takes the credit by just punching the boss with 2% health.

In my opinion, Vanille wasn't even annoying. She was upbeat and tried to be happy during a time that the party was being hunted by the government and everyone in Cocoon hated and feared them, she had good character dynamics with both Fang, Sazh, and Hope, and was great in the Ravager role; If anyone was annoying, it was Snow. I hated his self-righteous attitude and his utter inability to read the situation, the fact that he looked like a hobo, his illusions of being a grandeur hero, and how he treated Serah in XIII-2 thinking what he was doing was genuinely good for her and completely disregarding her feelings and leaving her alone for years. But that's just my opinion.
The video game character that made me pull my hair out was phone guy/ phone dude in the fnaf series. I was so satisfied with his death in fnaf 1, but they had to make fnaf 2 a prequel and than add someone even more annoying in fnaf 3. Admit it, after night 1 you just want him to stop talking
I think I'm like the only person on Earth who wasn't annoyed by Navi. In fact, the first time I played OoT, I looked forward to her "Hey, listen!" cries because it always marked a new stage of the game opening up.
The Est archetype, basically, in almost evry Fire Emblem game, theres a character available late game who has fucking atrocious stats, but some of the best growth rates in the game, meaning they start off weak but can become the best units in the game, the hard part being leveling them up in the first place. For all you casuals who only played Awakening, imagine if Donnel joined in Chapter 20, completely unchanged, but you couldnt use Reeking Boxes or DLC to fight weaker enemies and the plot continued on regardless

I found the owl more of an annoyance then Navi. Navi may be constant, but the owl's dialogue just goes on forever, often when you open up a new area and want to explore it, and if you just try to skip though it, it repeats. Navi is at least slightly useful. Also I gotta say that the Duck Hunt dog isn't that bad.

I've NEVER understood the hate for Ashley from RE4. If anything she's a prime example of how escort missions should be done. I suppose I can understand some people not liking her personality but honestly I thought it was a realistic, she was just a preppy college kid, of course she'd freak out when some of this shit happens. If anything she mans up pretty quick and doesn't do much complaining after the first hour or so. And gameplay wise she's pretty much perfect, she always stays out of your line of fire, she sticks close to you so enemies are unlikely to hit her or capture her, and toward the middle of the game she even solves some problems herself. I genuinely don't get the hate, especially when we've got Sheva over here shooting into walls, using all your healing items and jumping into chainsaws.

Talking in mumbled up gibberish and constantly interrupting the gameplay with unneeded Calculations of obvious events isn't a very good substitute, at least Navi offered useful advice about areas that involved using the controller, since it was the first Zelda game on N64, Zelda games were already established on the Wii, so Fi literally has nothing else to do but give you unnecessary calculations.
Honestly, why bother explaining the percentages, bypassing dungeons and killing enemies is literally our only goal.

I agree about Resetti the mole. When I was little, I played Animal Crossing and he would always come up and talk for half an hour about bolognese flavored Yogurt and that his favorite TV show is about to come on. honestly I felt like saying:

there were some times when he made me answer a riddle and I had no idea what he was talking about. on Animal crossing new leaf, You only encounter him once thank god! After that, Isabelle kindly reminds you to save before you turn off and it takes less than a minute to tell you.

hi. another annoying person could be Moira from fallout 3. she brought obtimism to irritating levels sometimes. yes, I do agree that it's good to have at least one person showing a cheerful and optimistic nature no matter what happens, but she brought it to seriously annoying levels. another one could be Frank in lego city undercover, when ever he keeps constantly contacting you to ask if you have something done, when you wish he'd leave you alone to get another thing done such as building something for example, or doing something for somebody else. I think Frank might be the worst one, the girl isn't too bad, I don't remember her name. you could always do a list of irritating sounds that warn you of things in video games such as low health, the constant beep beep beepings in the Zelda and pokemon games likely drove people insane, and I mean literally insane. apparently some of the game over tunes or sounds in video games are so cheerful and happy sounding that it's almost as though the game is literally taunting you or laughing at you for losing. audio in video games is hugely, hugely unnoticed, most people are too busy viewing the graphics to really listen. for example, in a creepy room in a game, you'll see what looks like a baby's room, and if you approach the empty cot, you can hear a woman and baby simultaneously crying, but, if you listen carefully enough, you'll also hear a music box playing rock-a-bye-baby, but you have to really listen to hear it. it's the same in prey, when you go in to the possessed children's room, you'll hear rock-a-bye-baby being played eerily in the background as you shoot at the children. you have to listen carefully to hear these things, most people don't notice them. even in deadspace 2, when you're going round the dark corridors, there's a bit where you can here a baby crying in the distance, and if you actually follow the sound, I think there's actually a woman with a baby. I don't know if you can do anything though.

I never actually found Navi that annoying. She is actually very helpful with exploiting an enemy's weak spot, locating hidden dungeons, and without her, there would be no lock-on mechanic. The only time I actually find her annoying is when she told me to get moving to my next location... when I'm already on my way there. Besides that, nothing else bugged me
How about Alisa from Tekken 6? in the Scenario mode she always gets in your way(like confronting the opponent when you charge at him-she blocks your attacks), and when you need her the most, she dies instantly. and not even mentioning the fact that doing the whole damage to the boss, and she takes the credit by just punching the boss with 2% health.

After finishing No More Heroes 2... Ryuji should’ve been the final boss. He had so much potential to be a compelling, interesting, and overall badass character that could be potentially another rival for Travis.
In my opinion, Vanille wasn't even annoying. She was upbeat and tried to be happy during a time that the party was being hunted by the government and everyone in Cocoon hated and feared them, she had good character dynamics with both Fang, Sazh, and Hope, and was great in the Ravager role; If anyone was annoying, it was Snow. I hated his self-righteous attitude and his utter inability to read the situation, the fact that he looked like a hobo, his illusions of being a grandeur hero, and how he treated Serah in XIII-2 thinking what he was doing was genuinely good for her and completely disregarding her feelings and leaving her alone for years.
But that's just my opinion.

The Est archetype, basically, in almost evry Fire Emblem game, theres a character available late game who has fucking atrocious stats, but some of the best growth rates in the game, meaning they start off weak but can become the best units in the game, the hard part being leveling them up in the first place. For all you casuals who only played Awakening, imagine if Donnel joined in Chapter 20, completely unchanged, but you couldnt use Reeking Boxes or DLC to fight weaker enemies and the plot continued on regardless
