I used this style to paint a few minis a few months back, and it's safe to say that, in this method I have found my style. I was able to create a better level of detail and add the weathering effect of the grimdark style very easily. I had previously avoided painting figures due to trying too hard to paint well. Needless to say, the Redemptor Dreadnought that I did in this style is easily the best miniature I have painted. Good video!

Really cool effect! I did a similar technique with a dry brush for my marines and it makes the paintjob really pop as it can get really vibrant :)

Great paint job I like the scratchy and weathered look of the armor rather than the perfect space marines we are so used to
