I have really bad anxiety and I have agoraphobia, my parents do not let me drop out of school yet, I have no friends and I get bullied I just want to be normal and not be paranoid 24/7, my school also makes everyone present the homework in front of the class I really don't want to start irl school

When I done my mocks my heart raced really fast and I struggled to breathe and I would start shaking I had to walk out of class and my school gave me a time out pass in the end which really helped because when I felt the panic attack coming on I could just leave the class

Unfortunately, I've never been good at breathing because I hyperfpcus on it and become more stressed were only allowed one hallpass A week and our water bottles have to stay in our lockers I sometimes wish teachers would be more understanding that letting me leave for 5 minutes to clear my mind is better then me sitting in class for 20 minutes hyperventaling and un fpcused i havemt tried the last one yet. But I will :) usually when I have anxiety attacks at school I try and listen to music however there have been times I jus had to walk out of class

i had my first day of high school and had an anxiety attack at lunch while sitting alone after a girl asked if i wanted to sit with her and a group of girls. i was on facetime with my brother and then they all huddled around me and i just start shaking and balling my eyes out and froze. i didn’t say anything to them i couldn’t and i feel horrible i didn’t get to see them and i want to apologize to them but i don’t know how to find them. i also have no friends at that school and i don’t know anyone. i talked to the school counselor and she sent me home because of how serve it ended up and she had also sent my teachers emails saying i can walk out of class whenever to get a break when i feel anxious. i really appreciate her doing that for me but then i missed today the second day but it was a very chaotic morning and yeah i don’t know how to explain

Thank you for the tips, as some others have mentioned, this was posted a long time ago still thank you :), I had a really bad anxiety attack at school weeks ago and no one really knew what to do, I was stuck in one place a public one too (I was in a bench outside our classroom) and I somehow can’t move, my hands were shaking badly and I was on a verge of tears, it took me about half an hour to calm down by my own, I hope these tips help me next time I get a bad anxiety attack.

I had one today but no one gets it Basically I had a presentation i had everything planned i got way to anxious i went to the washroom and started freaking out my heart was racing i was feeling sick and wanted to cry i was holding in my tears i went back inside and then it was my turn i said I didn’t want to do it my teacher said ok and was not help to me in the slightest bit I could’ve look at anyone at all for like an hour afterwards

i’m going back to irl school soon and i recently failed my grade and i’m so scared bc i have no friends there and everyone talks about me so idk what to do i just feel empty :(

That’s great! Hope your first day is a great one (or as great as it can be) - CBT is one of the most highly studied forms of therapies and it’s inspired many other branches of therapy so I’d say it sounds like a great thing to be starting- best wishes!! You got this!!
