I loved my first time on Paradise, and we are going again for our anniversary in May. After the first time, we booked on the new ship the Islander the following week. Going on the 4th or 5th round she is out! Can't wait. They work with GovX, so hero's sail free, won me over. I look forward to see what they do with this company. The staff is incredible.

I’m in the middle of mother hood (2 year old and newborn) I used to love to cruise and it’s just not in the cards for us right now so I live through you guys. Someday I’ll be able too. I wouldn’t trade my kids for the world but it’s nice to be able to live through you ❤

It's disappointing that there are so many upcharges, but it seems like they are getting better with their food onboard because there weren't tons of complaints. I appreciate that you two are willing to try all cruises, not just on the newest mega ships! I would love not dealing with Miami or Ft. Lauderdale port anxiety! So, was Margaritaville an inexpensive cruise? Was it worth the money? You guys just keep on rocking! Stay safe ❤

I sailed on Margaritaville last year and had a blast. No, it's not a major line but still fun. Had the gumbo/jambalaya in the MDR and enjoyed every bite of it!

We are seriously looking into booking MAS..especially now Islander will be coming out. I mean, come on.. the chance to sail on the original spirit class ship (we did research..the Costa Atlantica was the first one)..it is a no-brainer! The food looks amazing, and the show looked like a lot of fun. It's definitely our vibe. Thanks for sharing!

We're from the Virginia Beach area, so it's always a time commitment to make that drive to Florida for us, ha ha... but we usually stack up a few cruises to make the drive more worthwhile!! :P

I mean, if you lived nearby, heck yeah! I wonder how it has worked out for most buyers...and will they do it again for 2025???
We're fascinated by the idea, and I suppose you can pick from two or three of the same properties that they use for day pass excursions. It's definitely something that we would love to do!! :D
They invited us this sailing on free of charge, with the understanding that we would still be making our traditional style videos with our traditional honest opinions. We did pay our own way 100% the last time we sailed with them, and we had a blast both times!! :P ~Jay
Croquettes that are hard inside, not good, it’s not potato based unless they are fish, it’s bechamel sauce, that is why they are mushy. Those are the real croquettes! Of course it depends on how much meat, ham, or chicken they add to the recipe. Next time we sail together I’ll bring you some made by me. If in your Mediterranean sailing you have the time stop anywhere in Spain and eat one, you’ll see, the best in the world!
We didn't see any changes that looked specific to his passing, no. But there were quite a few additions that were made, I believe while he was still alive, such as the pickleball court, the new shows, the arcade, the dueling piano bar, etc.
We're glad to see ships that can be repurposed and get a little extension in life, ha ha... we enjoyed sailing the old Carnival Celebration back in 2020 under Bahamas Paradise before she went for scrap, and we've enjoyed both rides on this old Costa Classica as well. Hopefully she has quite a few years left in her!! :P

I don’t know why anyone would cruise this line? The ship looks old and sad. The food does not look good. It s depressing but I guess if that’s all you can afford then it’s something
The ship is 30+ years old, but we're glad to see some new life breathed into her rather than having her sent for scrap like some of our other favorite old ships recently. The food quality stands up to most any other major cruise line, honestly... and we can really see the effort they've put into their new shows and features around the ship. Definitely a ship we'd hop on anytime we've got a couple of free days in Florida!! :P

Wow this is better than Royal or Carnival have to offer; amazing entertainment, good foods, no little kids running around and awesome stateroom.

Keys on the Water is where they were showing Jimmy Buffet concerts on a screen while at the sametime different music could be playing.

We drove up from Miami that morning, and I think we arrived around noon. Boarding had already started and the place was pretty empty!! :D
