KA3525 module INVERTER 5KW

  • Many members of FB group want me to design the inverter simple, off when the battery is low. They say microcontrollers are hard to buy in their countries. So for today's project, I designed a PWM module using the SG3525 / KA3525 IC. It uses few components but can work for long periods. Function of module:
    Generate PWM signals (adjustable frequency). Max 1A load
    Voltage stability with feedback
    -Overload protection
    Low battery protection
    -Automatic cooling fan
    -Work with wide voltage range from 12V to 48V.
    -Use for pulse transformer and iron transformer
    -ON-OFF with buttons.
    You can use this module for inverter and UPS. amplifier for cars, speed controllers ....
    In the next video, I will design many circuits using this module. Coming soon.
    All my projects are free, I design them on EAGLE 6.0. I uploaded it to Google drive. You need to use a web browser to download the file and open the file with winrar software (extract) on the PC. Open schematic file (.SCH) and PCB file (.BRD) with EAGLE software.

    All my projects are free, I design them on EAGLE 6.0. I uploaded it to Google drive. You need to use a web browser to download the file and open the file with winrar software (extract) on the PC. Open schematic file (.SCH) and PCB file (.BRD) with EAGLE software.

    What about auto on-off? When load is less than 1w then off and when load is more than 2w then on. Of course that on sensing must use battery voltage or something that do not lose energy.

      I think it is quite difficult. because after you turn off the inverter, if you connect the load, it is impossible to know how much W.

      @@PhdHung I think that if you put DC to output line, you can calculate AC watts. Or if there is a little inverter that can generate AC to the output... only few volts is nessessary. You do not need real watts but only calculated ones.

      @@PhdHung I think home system where i have lights and refrigerator. I do not need power all time. Network is open, but when i will light, then it is not open.. or when refrigerator need power. We need only sense when net is open.

      @@PhdHung For example in MPP Solar inverters when enabling this feature it starts the inverter once every few seconds (maybe 5) and if no load is detected it switches the inverter off. I think is the best way to accomplish this. The bad part of MPP Solar is that the threshold is not configurable and it triggers on pretty high loads (~70Wh?).

      sơ đồ với pcb tải ở bên dưới mô tả video. SG3525 hoặc KA3525 đều đc.

      It depends on the frequency you want. use res 10K, Ct 102, RD 47R . F ~ 70Khz

    5000 watt? At 48 volts that would be approx 40ish amps are you sure that this can take that kind of heat?

      This module can drive 16 mosfet. I think 5000W at 48V is easy.

    please let me get your idea to use my laundry.
