Like i get that people grow up and live separate lives but it still broke me because we saw them go from best friends online to best friends irl and being happy and suffering together but it ended with them just growing apart. I feel like friendships that end for no reason like this hurt more than an argument. Like at least we knew y heedo and yijin didn't end up together but what about the rest of them and their bonds??? Because seriously the daughter not knowing them at all means they don't even visit for big things anymore 😢

Yurim story is probably the most painful to me to watch because I can relate to it. It's very realistic to loose contact with those you once were very close to.

I think I cried on all their scenes because the friendship meant so much to me in the series more than any love story in the series. A sentence describes them so well, when Heedo tells her after Madrid finals that only they know what they went through because no one else felt that pain. They meant so much to each other, they cared for each other off the arena, they pushed each others on the arena. They were rivals and best friends. I cried so much when on heedo's retirement Yerim came and Heedo said that most honourable thing of her career was to become Yerim's rival.
