@@kiantemack864 that’s not the question or the critique. Can you say he’s better or has a higher upside than wicks Watson and Reed? It’s not an insult to call doubs a number 4 on a congested depth chart.

Justis reaffirmed my memory of his issue with Romeo Doubs and his "Inconsistent Hands."
I don't see it. Doubs is a man amongst our WR boys.

He’s got more drops than anybody and a drop percentage that while not awful, isn’t great. It is what it is. No ones calling doubs a bad receiver, only that they like some others more or the upside of the others more, especially when snap count or 2nd contracts get talked about

You guys have lost your mind about Dobbs he is the only reliable receiver we have injury wise and clutch wise. He's Donald Driver type receiver gets over looked because he doesn't flash 24/7 he just comes in clutch every time.

According to the numbers, Romeo is one of our best players into zone coverage, according to PFF, but he is one of our worst in man coverage. I do think he is 5th on the roster, but like they said, 3rd and mid/short, red zone he is the guy to have, but I would also add more play when playing a heavy zone team. He has quick, late show hands and is one of our best in a contested catch situation (which he needs because he struggles against press man), and he seems to have the best chemistry with Love.
Regarding Bo, I actually think he has the ability to be the best on the roster. He has Christian's athleticism without the height. His vertical is just as good as Christian's. He runs a faster 40 time and then he plays like a bowling ball as well breaking tackles and pushing forward after contact.

Good show. About the kick offs, I'm in Europe, so might have this way off, but I think the NFL are slowly trying to get to a position where the kick off is done away with completely. Like in many other field sports, after a score the opposition will simply get the ball at the 30, or 25 or whatever WITHOUT a kick off. For example, like 'soccer'. Would this then put the idea of having both a punter and a kicker one player too many?

    • @carybishop2876
      @carybishop2876 3 місяці тому

Talking from a perspective of one who played the sport as a young person I want the kickoff to stay!.Many players are playing in the NFL because of special teams and the kicking teams! I hope this reinvents the kickoffs and makes it more interesting! More scoring!

Jordan Love’s transformation last season was nothing short of a revelation, stirring echoes of MVP seasons past in Packers Nation. With a talented receiving corps and a more robust running game at his disposal, the stage is set for Jordan Love to elevate his game even further. The question hovering over Lambeau, however, isn’t about talent, it’s about decision-making under pressure. As Jordan Love steers the Packers into contention, how he handles these high-stakes situations could very well define Green Bay’s season. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

I just listened to PFF's draft preview of Andre Dillard. They were VERY high on him as a pass protector and felt he would develop into a strong run blocker, particularly in a zone scheme. He had twice as many pass sets in college than the 2nd most tackle.

Gutey is nearing god mode levels of efficiency on this roster. We do not appreciate him enough as fans after years of Rodgers watch. He in 2 years rebuilt the Packers, only Kenny is a remaining guy from the old regime yet we look stronger and better than we did when we had our beloved vets around
He is pulling all the levels making the tight turns and gping at 1000 miles an hour look easy.

Yeah you gotta pump the brakes there until it actually comes to fruition lol the D and ST still gotta show up in addition to what we all think is gonna happen with the O for this to be one of the best packers rosters in recent memory. Gutey hit on the 2022 and 2023 offensive draft classes. That’s the near god mode, not much else was god mode besides maybe the 2019 FA class and getting a good year off the scrap heap in Rasul and Campbell

    • @Matt-yq3gq
      @Matt-yq3gq 3 місяці тому

@@Captainkebbles1392 thats the whole point. He’s got only 2 years of seemingly really good draft classes and “god mode” is what’s stated. Little overkill there. If we’re really going to evaluate efficiency and quality drafting - does 2022 really fit yet? Wyatt and Walker haven’t been good starters in the league yet. Watson has only played 40% of the snaps. Rhyan hasn’t done anything yet. Obviously Tom and doubs have stood out, got a solid half ish season out of R. Walker and enagbare is a solid rotational piece. It’s a good draft, chance to be better this year, but it’s not god level. Devondres extension wasn’t a good move. The Sammy Watkins experiment. The safety position pre McKinney. There are flaws and it’s not perfect. No team or GM is. If almost everyone from 2022 2023 and 2024 shows up and makes a leap, then I’d agree with that statement.

    Offense & O Line:
Yes Elgton Jenkins to center not Zach Tom! I've been saying this since early last season.
Jordan Morgan either wins left tackle, left guard or is the swing tackle behind Tom & Walker.
Until Rasheed Walker fails he remains starting left tackle or swing tackle behind Tom & Morgan.
The two guard positions should remain up for competition. Rhyan, Monk, Myers top candidates.
With the depth now at tackle maybe someone else moves inside as well with those 3 guys.
With Josh Myers in a contract season your right it's time to push him or release him this season!
I'd like to see GB go with Elgton Jenkins at center or at least use Monk to push Myers at center.
If Royce Newman makes this roster again I'll lose my damn mind! Like the cat came back him.
He sucks year after year but he keeps on coming back. Like a cat he seems to have 9 lives!
3.1 million cap relief to cut Newman can't tell me 1 of these young guys isn't a much better option.
No worries about the rest of this offensive unit other than solidifying the offensive line in 2024.
That & teaching Matt to run the damn ball on 1st downs more than 10% of the time for a change!
The running game should be as good & most likely better with Jacobs & Lloyd back there now.
Luke Musgraves & Tucker Kraft should be much better with a season under their belt now.
Simms & Davis should fill out that tight end room very nicely this season. Deguara gone a plus.
WR room is so damn deep no worries there. A healthy Christian Watson all season would be ideal!
Just ensure that offensive line becomes elite again & they keep Jordan Love healthy all season.
Sean Clifford & Michael Pratt look like solid backups with potential. Tom Clements the master!
    Defense & D Line:
The biggest question going into this season for GB is has the run defense problem been rectified?
Andy on the mark speaking of the lack of depth behind Kenny Clark if he goes down with injury.
Can we see more consistency from TJ Slaton? Can he remain & improve as a bonafide run stuffer?
Can Karl Brooks continue to shine as he did last season. Can a stronger CoIlby Wooden improve?
Will Devonte Wyatt improve & shine in a more aggressive Hafley defensive scheme this season?
Can E Cooper be the run stuffer GB has desperately needed since Gilbert Brown & BJ Raji retired?
Strong backend now Cooper should have the ability to continue to focus on his forte of run stuffing.
Can Hooper live up to his 3rd round potential & learn how to tackle much better than in college?
Will Isiah McDuffie continue to progress now with an opportunity to possibly win a starting role?
Will Quay Walker thrive in this new system. Will we finally see more big plays & tackles for loss?
Although he is aging Eric Wilson will continue to add depth & is a key special teams contributor.
Edge should remain solid with Rashan Gary & Preston Smith leading the way on the outside.
Rashan needs to be more prominent in 2024. He disappeared too often & too long last season.
Can LVN finally start showing why he was picked 13th overall a season ago by the Packers?
Will Kingsley Engabare be able to bounce back from his ACL injury at the end of last season?
A bigger stronger Colby Wooden looks like a good 5th body to fill in if more depth is needed.
Biggest question in secondary is can Jaire earn his big fat paycheck as the top paid CB in the NFL?
Past 2 injury riddled seasons were less than stellar after 3 tremendous probowl seasons previously.
Bullard & McKinney should make back end very solid in 2024. Plus the other new young prospects.
CB depth is a bigger question. Will stokes be a flop again or finally live up to his 1st round potential?
Can Carrington Valentine continue to progress into a solid starting cornerback in his 2nd season?
Can Jaire Alexander return to the probowl form that earned him that big contract 3 seasons ago?
Corey Ballentine should prove a good resigning adding depth after a very solid season in 2023.
    Special Teams:
Time Bisaccia proves he's the special teams guru he was hired to be after 2 disappointing seasons!
He has disputably best returner in all of the NFL in Keisean Nixon. New kickoff rules should help!
GB drafted many special team specialist & Tyler Davis the best teams player 2 seasons ago is back.
Daniel Whelan looks to be a solid punter & the long term answer in that role after a strong 2023.
Biggest question remains the place kicker & long snapper positions. Both need to be much better!
    Go Pack Go!

      @Matt-yq3gq 3 місяці тому

It’s not disrespect. It’s a reality. On a per snap and per opportunity basis there’s arguably higher ceilings for Watson Reed and wicks. That’s not controversial. It is what it is and times gonna tell what happens for the pecking order. And either way there’s gonna be a rotation whether planned or because of injury, so it’s not gonna matter if doubs is valued as the 4th most talented WR on the roster or not.
