Honestly, the war ending after Anikan kills that room of leaders makes no sense, since we see that there is an entire council, and Palpatine mentions "hundreds" of separatist worlds in the movies. The creation of the Galactic Empire would if anything completely justify the separatist movement, and I'd think they'd double down on their war effort, and with Palpatine no longer having any way to play both sides, I think the Empire would get stomped
With the main military leaders (dooku and grievous), and the main leadership all dead, and the cis council wanting peace (we see this in an episode of the clone wars). I dont think the cis's military doctrine and war effort were effective anymore.
@@helixvoidecho idk, I feel like out of hundreds of systems, someone would fill those power voids pretty quickly, and yes they wanted peace, but I don't think they would be naive enough to believe they could coexist alongside an empire that was born from a republic that was already so against their freedom that they started a glactic wide war to stop it

And if that information were to get out at all, or a link were made between sidious and palpatine, then that's it, the CIS would definitely keep fighting
the big issue is there were countless battles at the time of the shut down order, meaning millions of battle droids and scores of planets would have been lost before the droids could be reactivated. this alone would break the moral of many worlds, combine that with brutal "hiroshima" type attacks would make many planetary governments want peace anyway. what would be left of the CIS military (planets not being attacked/with large enough reserves to recapture the territory and droids lost imediately after the shut down order, aswell as fleets and their attached ground forces. these could be rallied along side numerous foundry worlds (whose sole purpose was produce droids, tanks and ships). its down to the officers, many would want to avoid war crimes or brutal punishment as traitors and either become criminals or continue fighting, and would try and organise their forces abit. so many worlds would choose to fight, but many would simply give up.

Always "organics" leading a bunch of droids. Kind of disappointing, Star Wars could have so much more. I was hoping for some holdout cells of self-repurposed old battledroids stubbornly fighting their "programmed" guerilla war to the bitter end. Imagine a unit of grizzled old battle-hardened battledroids from any old Vietnam war movie, a bunch of badass B1s who've learned some new tricks or repaired/modified themselves with captured hardware, etc.
I would kill to get a Battlefront 2 galactic assault map for the separatist hold out that we saw in Star Wars Rebels with the separatists versus the Empire instead of the Rebellion.
Could we get a legends version? Like with Gizor Delso, the sikuurdian and thallassian slavers. And of course the imperial heroes Admiral Screed and General Romodi?
this actually brings up a good point. At one point it was estimated that the Separatist Droid army outnumbered even the entire organic population of the galaxy by at least three to one! So where did all of those droids end up? I am imagining fleets of Lukrehulks stranded in dead space, packed to the brim with deactivated battle droids. What do you think?
@Shadow Trooper105 In the Wikipedia it does hint that they haf atleast more than 4 million. It said that the largest fleets had 4,000 ships and there were hundreds of these large fleets.
See, if Palpatine wanted to rule his empire with fear AND tactics, he wouldn't have issues the shut down order, leaving more of these holdouts, thus keeping the war going. And with the jedi dead, he'd be able to draft republic citizens into the grand army as stormtroopers to fortify their strength, and use his knowledge of the separatists to take them down quickly and efficiently
The reason they kept fighting because *they activated bonus reinforcements ala battlefront 2* . Edit: *The old one not the shitstrom that is the new one*
They should bring back Kalani. I like to see them build a sperate fraction besides Imps and new republic. Both are cut from the same cloth. Maybe in the Mandalorian or Ahsoka.

They could work with Jedi and other heroes to protect the galaxy. I also just want this as an excuse to see droids again lol
In aftermath, they mention that the new separatist union forms after the fall of the empire, so its arguable that there was a large separatist hold out in that region that had the support of the people.
It would be nice if we got an update to this video now that it has been confirmed in cannon that the Separatists are live and well during the sequel era. After the fall of the empire they reformed into the New Separatist Union and the Confederacy of Corporate Systems. What they are up to during the events of episodes 7-9 is never explained but they are around as well as a couple of imperial holdouts who are also sitting out the conflict.
this is really cool and im a big fan of the droids which adds to that Im just imagining the droids managing ro regain numbers nd wipe out most of the empire

Right now you can buy a crate full of Mosin Nagants really cheaply despite the lions share of them being manufactured in the 1800's. The reason being that so many were manufactured that they are still cheap despite no longer being in production. While not the best choice of weapon in this day and age tactically. If you wanted to quickly arm up a small militia to defend a compound with limited resources, the Mosin is your gun. Think about this on a galactic scale, billions of not quadrillions of these B1 droids scattered across the galaxy. If you need some cheap trigger fingers, hit up the local scrap yard and get you a few thousand clankers. Even for non military purposes, maybe you are starting a restaurant, grab ten rusty B1's and reprogram them, boom, you got cheap waiters to run food out to customer's tables, and you don't even have to pay them. I'm surprised you don't see repurposed B1's everywhere post clone wars.

But by all means take my attempts to expand the conversation on the nature of evil vs intellect as some attack on your personal political views. Be as rude and defensive as you want if it makes you feel better edgy boy. It doesn't make you right about my intentions though. =D
Will General Kalani and his battle droids appear in episode 9?
We can hope
YAY CANNON
Roger Roger
NEVAH SURRENDAHHH!!!!!!
Hope in ep 9 Kalani with massive CIS fleet help the resistance to destroy this pathetic first order 😈
They stuck to what they believed in.
I love the C.I.S
Glory to the separatist Alliance. For the fall of the republic and the fall of the empire. We will never surrender to the galactic Republic and the Galactic Empire.
Can you do a video on the DC-15S blaster pistol and the EC-17 scout trooper pistol?
I would like 2 see the return of the cis
Like cis vs the rebels or the new republic
Or the first order
Maybe kalani will play a small part in the following movies
So what happened to Kalani anyway?
@Synthetic Lord I saw that in the Rebels recap; many would like a more flesh-out answer.
Yeah I'm sure they won't leave it open
Can u do Neimoidians
Glad that some separatists joined the Republic
I wonder if by that time they figured out a way to reverse the accelerated aging of clones. Then Kix would have been the last clone and been able to live a normal life
Well I might be wrong, but if I remember correctly Boba Fett met a Clone rocking 120-something years, who gives him a sample of his blood to stop the degeneration of his clone body.
@@Pfeifenkraut is that canon or legends continuity?
@@jaylynabrams9564 Thats the problem. I don't know where I read that.
