Damian vs. Julian is one of the best introductions to a villain in a kids show ever. They really went so hard about showing you that this kid was a straight up Demon!
It's also a great example of the Worf effect in Beyblade as in Metal Masters I felt like that happened to a lot of characters. Most prominantly in Tsubasa and Yu, but Julian's was by far the most brutal. Course, you could argue Masamune actually got the worse end of it considering just how many Ls and how few solo Ws he has against major opponents

I mean, his bey literally sends you to hell. How can you top that? I later received my answer with the black hole that was Tempo.
Damian could've had an interesting story in metal fury if we think about it. Hear me out: Instead of being one of the 10 legendary bladers, he would actually NOT be one among them. This would create internal confliction in Damian's mind about how he was always told that he's the chosen one. That he's the strongest. An exception among others. And yet he witnesses for himself that he was never even chosen by the heavens to be among one of the strongest bladers while Ginga and Kyoya were. Being in disbelief and confusion, and remembering Kyoya's words from the past talking about how much of a coward, weak and fraud Damian was. Damian would have enough. This would enrage Damian forcing him to finally get his hands dirty and finally start training (Kind of like how Frieza decides to train for the first time in his life in Resurrection F). Damian's training arc could very similar to Kenta's in metal fury but much harsher. But where Kenta was training to be strong so that he could earn everyone's recognition. Damian would be training for payback. To prove that he no longer cares about being the chosen one. And to prove that he doesn't need any legendary power to defeat Ginga and Kyoya.
Oh my god and this could honestly lead to a battle between Kenta and Damian honestly in Metal Fury Former Low Ranking Blader who can make Gingka and Tsubasa sweat and go full power and force Ryuga to use his ultimate move vs a Former Fraud who used science to get his power only to be humilated by two of the top 3 bladers in the world only to push himself through rigorous training to prove Kyoya wrong.
Yay, Julian face after losing to Damian freaked me out as a kid, i remember when I was first watching that episode on Netflix when I was 4-5 years old, i rewinded the episode to that part and paused for like 1-2 minutes just trying to process how humiliated Julian face looked.
Damian could easily have had the pluto bey. Hades the god has a lot of parallels to Pluto the god. But the planets past saturn apparently don't exist to the star fragments.
I mean to be fair his bey was not Hades himself just his dog. If anything the man named Pluto who is a descendant of King Hades who used Nemesis should of been more of a dominant and overarching villain to see what he had before he was overshadowed by Rago and Nemesis, cuz he had a Hades bey so he could of been one of them tbh It would be Kool to see Damian and others be legendary bladers tho in this case it wouldn’t make sense at best he would of been found and used as a top tier fighter under Pluto like his other scary goons sadly we barely got to see them in action especially since a lot of those beys are powerful irl
When people think of Beyblade and Black Air Force energy, they usually think of Ryuga. But to me, it's always been Damian. The way he did Julian was just demonic.
If Damian went through the same level or training and had Blader's Spirit then this man might actually have been not only a Legendary Blader but a rival to even Ryuga.
Damn this makes me want to rewatch Julian vs Dashan. That was one of the most unexpected yet epic Beybattles I've ever seen and there's even parallels between the two characters to be drawn. The difference being in how they acceptted the loss. Nothing is gonna keep Dashan down as long as he has his friends to keep standing up. Where as Julian couldn't accept another loss. Course, he was also mentally tortured by Damian so, the emotional damage was a bit stronger on Julian's end. Still it amazed me just how much stronger Dashan got when he was around the level of a still fledgling Galaxy Pegasus, to tkaing down someone who foorced Gingka to go through another power up. The spirit of the fight is what gets me the most, these two were raw and the voice acting really sells it.Plus Sophie and Whales picking Julian back up was really inspiring, the dialouge was honestly pretty good here. Though I wonder if Dashan calling Julian a blondie was also in the original japanese sub. And I'm actually fine with Julian losing, cause it doesn't undermine Dashan's hardwork, and it shows Julian's grown and can take another loss and still move forward
Ngl, this might be me coping, but Julian, just before his battle against Damian, he def would of won against Dashan. His will to win was stronger then, his black excalibur move was the most powerful too.

Phoenix in metal masters did beat Gingka and others in the battle trying to decide who joins Japan’s team for a sub but Kyoya fights Damien who’s stronger than that Gingka and even the stronger one he fights later lol
I like Phoenix but don’t lie and cope man.
@@LeaderOfTheLostSoulsWhat?!😂 Kyoya got his ass handed to him by Doji and Gingka twice, where Phoenix beat Doji and Gingka on his first try, and yes, definitely he took out the whole Chinese team, which is just OP as fuck, but also don’t forget that Kyoya didn’t even beat Gingka in metal masters it was a tie where Phoenix took out Gingka, Masamune, Kenta, and the whole entire Chinese team, AT ONCE, also don’t forget how Tsubasa gave Kyoya quite a fight in metal masters, and Kyoya had to use all his strength to win where Phoenix took him out with effortlessly in metal fusion where Tsubasa was using his special move and Phoenix didn’t even attack he just used his raw power in defense, last thing is don’t forget that we never saw Phoenix use his 100% power where Kyoya has which makes Phoenix way more powerful than he already is as we’ve seen
@@PhoenixJTF2 I guess Kyoya hasn't gotten stronger since his battles with Doji...
Why does he look like that
Bro that's his design
damian got plot armored. logically he was stronger then kyoya for sure
