Several scenes from this were shot at Albany State University (NY) while I was there circa 1979-80ish. At 1:00 in the trailer, you can see one such scene, shot in the student center. The arched pillars and lighting there, embellished with red paint and set dressing, were chosen to convey a modern Middle Eastern feel for the scenes with the Arab financiers. Students were blocked from using the area (maybe the whole building, if I recall correctly) for the 3 or so days the movie crew was using it. Having Kris Kristofferson come out and sign autographs surely made up for it! Jane Fonda, being extremely popular at the time from having recently starred in the mega hit The China Syndrome, laid low in her trailer when not filming, as she surely would have been mobbed. Kristofferson (a former Rhodes Scholar), on the other hand, I think was energized by the campus atmosphere.
This popped right out of nowhere on my Google search engine. I kid you not! Now, I'd love to see this film!
Jane descending down those stairs in that gorgeous gown is one amazing Scene.
When I first saw this trailer in the theaters as a kid in 1981, I used to love when the gold bar "rolled over!" hehe
As a kid, I used to pretend I was the gold bar and somersault every time the trailer played on tv lol

This was a bit of a Premonition of all the Wall Street Shenanigans to come in 2007/8!!

Did you notice-all those shenanigans in Vietnam did not hurt Jane Fonda's career one iota?
By that time, (1970's) the movie going public consisted of mostly young people in their teens and early 20's. Older people who who might have objected to Miss Fonda's Vietnam "shenanigans had deserted the movie theatres for their TV sets by this time and so were not a demographic that was of concern to movie producers.
it's almost like the general public was against the war and anyone calling for her to be prosecuted for treason were deranged boomers

Best thing about this movie was Hume Cronyn.
This movie was a total mess. Fonda and Kristofferson were totally wasted. The politics of the movie overwhelmed the entire picture. One of Alan J. Pakula's least entertaining films .

Dino Van Hammer Yeah, I’m confused by that as well, especially since this movie is about five years older than Aliens. Unless it’s just a similar-sounding James Horner score from some other movie.

If James Horner did the score for Rollover, then he borrowed it for Aliens. He’s famous for recycling his themes a la The Perfect Storm and Enemy at the Gates with that horn flourish
As @neilbulk said, this is probably from Horners Wolfen score...a movie also released in 1981. Often when the music score is not finalized for a movie, the studio will use music from other films in its catalog for the trailer. Thats why you hear Horner even though he didnt actually score Rollover. (It was Michael Small i think)
