You can hear that Eric Martin is in the prime of his life. Fantastic voice and fantastic performance. It's sad to know that nowadays his voice is almost gone

As i recall, nothing major but he always has problems with his throat, sometimes he hit the high notes sometimes not, plus the fact that he's in his 60's now, everybody's voice do change (go lower) as we grow older. Search the audio interview of him 'singing master class with eric martin', he openly answered maybe mostly you wanna know.
with paul gilbert ofcourse.. koetzen is good but not for mr big, just listen 50:26.. paul never mess a song, and his articulation is better than koetzen

He still sounds great for his age nowadays. If you want a “gone” voice then try todays Bon Jovi.
