Hate to be that guy, but this technically isn't a "leak". It's a theory based on real information. That's prob why you like it compared to other leaks. I definitely do.
Here are 3 personal theories : 1- It's a stage pack as you mentionned, which would be cool since we miss very few relevant stages from having them all 2- It's the slot for a second character that would come with one of the 2 remaining Challenger Packs, my personal wish would be something like Sora as character #11 with Roxas or Riku as a second character, or Rayman with Globox as another character 3- It's Hades from Kid Icarus Uprising who's patiently waiting for the last character reveal to happen, credits to roll, then put himself in the game because he doesn't care. Imagine how cool of a callback to KIU that'd be

There's a very good chance that Pyra and Mythra were initially expected to take up 2 slots (18970 and 18971), so the Mii costume was moved back just in case. I really don't think there's anything to dissect here. EDIT: It's also possible that one of the Mii Fighters was going to be the Fighter Pass 2 Bonus Costume, but they changed their minds and used the Link Guardian set instead. EDIT 2: Even if these theory are both wrong, there’s still a good chance that the extra slot was a “just in case” sort of thing. The people who makes the websites may have been misinformed about the DLC. All these website codes are to help THEM organize the website, so they can do whatever they want, just in case.
Hm, that cooould make sense, leftovers from Pyra and Mythra. But weren't they figured out a while ago? I don't think Sakurai would have entered development without a clear vision of who they are, much less preserve a space for Mythra. Not to mention Sakurai also said they were almost an Ice Climbers character instead of a Pokemon Trainer esque character, never two characters.
@@TomTheyy Sakurai stated that tranforming characters counts as one character each. So when he made Smash 3DS he had to seperate Zelda & Sheik, Samus & Zero Suit Samus because the game could only read 4 playable chacaters at a time and those characters counted as 2 so it'll be 5 chacaters on screen. This is also why Ice Climbers didn't return for Smash 4 because Sakurai couldn't seprate them since they worked together as one chacaters, but the game still counted them as 2 characters

They also accidentally added an extra coming soon slot on the official smash website for a short time after sephiroth was announced and then quickly removed it

i was going to say i doubt it as i was just digging through the code, but all i got was the name might be "Cero" or "zero" so that doesn't sound too far out there, well being that both megaman and protoman are already there i can't think of anyone else those names may reffer to, then again those names may be wrong

What it will end up being is anyone’s guess... although with Piranha Plant already fitting a similar pattern there is a precedent for bonus fighters fitting this type of pattern, which of course is exciting! We will have to just wait it out and see what ends up happening with this one!

The screen cuts to a black screen, for milliseconds the teasers that Sakura put in other reveal trailers such as the waluigi plush and the purple and yellow chairs flash onto the screen. Then the screen pans over to Mario on the Wii U stage (the stage that piranha plant was revealed on). The screen shows yoshis and Luigi' shield broken like the piranha plant trailer. The screen shows someone grabbing the smash invite on the floor. It's geno. The screen shoots to "GENO GIVES IT A WHIRL!" When his fake move set is showed off it shows him getting beat up by assist trophies. Assist trophies are all lined up behind the fire smash logo. It's so dark you can't see their faces but you can still tell who the assist trophies are. You here quietly in the distance "Wah!" As Geno gets punched across the face. You see a glove take the card. It's walugi. It's says "WALUIGI FINALLY GETS IN SMASH!" That's it, there is nothing after that. Nothing that shows his move set. There is nothing left of that trailer.
honestly I feel like this hidden 6th fighter would be something sakurai would do to end off ultimate... and I think it would be rayman (I can't unsee him on the battlefield stage)
Coming to this way after the fact, my theory is they accidently added an extra number for Pyra/Mythra being split that they just forgot to delete when they didn't need it
Here's an idea that won't happen unless it does, but I love the idea of a story mode purchase, putting both Melee and Brawl's story modes in the game with updated graphics and such would be sick and worth a good chunk in my opinion. Also, how was that version of the world's most painful sentence?

What my predictions are: - Yes, there are 3 new DLC characters coming to smash ultimate (1 being a bonus like Piranha Plant) - They'll each come with a new stage, making the roster complete. - There will also be extra music & extra mii costumes released with each character & update. Characters I think will make a chance to get those 3 spots: - Sora, Rayman, Black Shadow (F-Zero), Andy Bogard (Fatal Fury), Bayonetta 3 character, Decidueye or Geno.
Although this does make sense when you connect the dots, I think I know whats happening. On the official Super Smash Bros Ultiamte website, they count Pyra and Mythra as 79, and 80th characters in the roster, it could be that this is a placeholder for Mythra, although I wouldn't be surprised if it's not a place holder and is an actual bonus character.
i mean it makes sense to me, he wasnt just there he was a pre order bonus. it also cant be a thnak you gift for buying pack 2/ both packs becaudr that comes in the form of a mii skin. also if it was a thank you gift for buying pack 2 alone wheres the extrs fighter for buying 1 alone, and if its a thank you for buying both then your basically gonna have to pay $60 for 1 character so like i doubt thats the case
I'm pretty surprised this hasn't happened actually. There's so much they could add outside the Fighters Pass, like echo fighters, stages for non-playable characters and assets for the Stage Builders... like targets from Break the Targets.
I kinda already guessed this on my own. So far, the first fighter in each pass has been released under special circumstances. Piranha plant was included as a pre-order bonus and was announced before smash ultimate's release, and min min's announcement for the announcement mentioned that it would be an arms character. Plus, they're both Nintendo ips, which could mean that they save the first spot for something special. So I think that we already got min min as the bonus character, and for whatever reason the last slot was forgotten about. But that's just what I think.
Honestly what if they just were planning on seven characters in the second fighters pass but then last minute decided to just do six and so there’s just a extra empty slot
@@mabbott946 He's same weight but he is a lot slower. My point is that doc is just a mindless clone of mario and doesn't really had much. The only reason he's in the game is because melee added a bunch of clones to have more characters. But whit each new game those clones became less similar to their original character. But doc is still way to similar to mario and he's a character that no ones really cares about.
It could be an Echo of the final fighter, like a two for one deal. An example I'm thinking would be Scorpion and Sub Zero, they are not carbon copies but are close enough that small changes could be made that would still keep them as Echos. Another possibility could be Sora with either Roxas or Riku, or some other pair that players would know.
You know I realized that there really weren't any standalone stage dlc like in smash 4. So the stage dlc theory has potential to be true. And if that's so, then I seriously want Pac Maze back.
If it's a bonus character, I think it could be Waluigi. Saving Waluigi for the final reveal would be an epic way to finish off the Smash roster, given how highly requested and memed he was, and he would really give off the feeling of "Everyone is Here."
Someone DID leak that there was supposed to be a *bonus* fighter to finish out the DLC's for the holidays. Possibly in the vain of a 'Challenger approaches!' type advertisement. ... and that person DID say Waluigi would be a fighter 🧑🎓
now you mention it, that would make the most sense with what i found, as i found a reference to a Japanese page for a character labeled as cero (which translates to zero) so it could be a megaman echo (i was digging in the code and finding things)
@@Fooza05 as someone who has mega man as a main, im not opposed, I have about 8 fighters I count as mains, as I have tons of combos for them, each character at a different level, but he is top 5, getting it to look like zero would have me playing him asap (if I owned a copy, or even a switch)
Imagine Sakurai is sitting on his couch and he is like alright guys thats it for DLC...And then you hear outside his Window: "WHAT I AM TOO GOOD FOR SMASH OR WHAT?!" Sakurai looks at the camera and is like what is that? Then he looks out the Window and he sees Crash Bandicoot on the megaphone yelling at him to let him in Smash. Sakurai looks back at the camera and says eh why not?
A possibility I thought of that I'd lose my mind over but I don't think will happen is if the last fighter is revealed to be Dante but they also reveal that we're getting Nero or Vergil alongside him, which would result in the additional fighter slot. Though that'd probably make some people really upset and I can understand that, as a DMC fan I feel it'd be a cool way to end the fighter's pass. I've been wanting some DMC representation in Smash in some form or fashion for so long, and given that all three of these characters are the faces of the franchise now, I cannot think of a more fitting outcome for the descendants of Sparda. I still look forward to whatever characters we get regardless and cannot wait to see what happens next.
I honestly think that Waluigi needs his own game where he’s the main character before he can be a playable character in super smash brothers and Nintendo should make said hypothetical game considering how much fan demand there is for the character
I think it would probably be a new Mother rep. Porky would fit perfectly, and on top of that, it could help Nintendo see just how well NEW Earthbound content could sell in the west on it's own as a way of seeing if they should consider localizing Mother 3, or hell, make a Mother 4

The thing is the when Smash 4 started introducing DLC characters in Smash, we didn't get a thank you special chacaters for buying our Smash prevoius characters. Instead we got thank you bounus in the form of returning stages like Dream Land from Smash 64 and Pirate Ship from Brawl. So I think we might get returning stages that could be PokeFlots, Orbital Gate Assault & Wooly World (which fit the last 3 slots). The other non returning stages Pyrosphere, Miiverse, Brinstar and Sector Z aren't retruning becuase Pyrosphere had Ridley as a stage boss and now his a playable character and it'll be odd seeing them both on the same stage, Miiverse showed case drawings from the app miiverse on the stage and because miiverse isn't on the Switch there's no way to show the drawings and Brinstar & Sector Z has 2 similar stages in Ultimate being Brinstar Melee & Corneria.
while i'd love to believe this, i do find it difficult only in the fact that Sakurai did make the big deal of Fighters' Pass 2 having an extra (sixth) fighter. i think if there were going to be two extra fighters, he would've announced that when he'd announced Fighters' Pass 2. i don't think it's impossible for Sakurai to have decided to add another fighter after the initial announcement and i don't know enough about game development to know if it's feasible on that end, but i would like this to be true. i just have my doubts. if this is another fighter, i think it might be a free fighter only available to ppl who bought both fighters' passes/all 11 paid dlc fighters. that's just what would make sense to me given the information we have now. a stage pack or even just one extra dlc stage would also make sense. smash 4 had quite a few dlc stages that weren't included with dlc fighters but were just for fun. i'd love that. and honestly, what i'd be hoping for the most would be that every stage in smash history that didn't make the original cut would finally be included. i mean, i really don't understand why they didn't include every stage. give me pokéfloats in hd!!! but who knows, we might just be nintendo fans reading too much into stuff and hoping for the best.

What it will end up being is anyone’s guess... although with Piranha Plant already fitting a similar pattern there is a precedent for bonus fighters fitting this type of pattern, which of course is exciting! We will have to just wait it out and see what ends up happening with this one!

The screen cuts to a black screen, for milliseconds the teasers that Sakura put in other reveal trailers such as the waluigi plush and the purple and yellow chairs flash onto the screen. Then the screen pans over to Mario on the Wii U stage (the stage that piranha plant was revealed on). The screen shows yoshis and Luigi' shield broken like the piranha plant trailer. The screen shows someone grabbing the smash invite on the floor. It's geno. The screen shoots to "GENO GIVES IT A WHIRL!" When his fake move set is showed off it shows him getting beat up by assist trophies. Assist trophies are all lined up behind the fire smash logo. It's so dark you can't see their faces but you can still tell who the assist trophies are. You here quietly in the distance "Wah!" As Geno gets punched across the face. You see a glove take the card. It's walugi. It's says "WALUIGI FINALLY GETS IN SMASH!" That's it, there is nothing after that. Nothing that shows his move set. There is nothing left of that trailer.

Finally , a legit sounding leak. (I think it'll be a fighter and it'll probably be a Nintendo one and I'm fine with Waluigi , but Paper Mario or Geno are my preferred choices.)

What my predictions are:
- Yes, there are 3 new DLC characters coming to smash ultimate (1 being a bonus like Piranha Plant)
- They'll each come with a new stage, making the roster complete.
- There will also be extra music & extra mii costumes released with each character & update.
Characters I think will make a chance to get those 3 spots:
- Sora, Rayman, Black Shadow (F-Zero), Andy Bogard (Fatal Fury), Bayonetta 3 character, Decidueye or Geno.
Although this does make sense when you connect the dots, I think I know whats happening. On the official Super Smash Bros Ultiamte website, they count Pyra and Mythra as 79, and 80th characters in the roster, it could be that this is a placeholder for Mythra, although I wouldn't be surprised if it's not a place holder and is an actual bonus character.

I'm pretty surprised this hasn't happened actually.
There's so much they could add outside the Fighters Pass, like echo fighters, stages for non-playable characters and assets for the Stage Builders... like targets from Break the Targets.
I kinda already guessed this on my own.
So far, the first fighter in each pass has been released under special circumstances.
Piranha plant was included as a pre-order bonus and was announced before smash ultimate's release, and min min's announcement for the announcement mentioned that it would be an arms character.
Plus, they're both Nintendo ips, which could mean that they save the first spot for something special.
So I think that we already got min min as the bonus character, and for whatever reason the last slot was forgotten about. But that's just what I think.
Honestly what if they just were planning on seven characters in the second fighters pass but then last minute decided to just do six and so there’s just a extra empty slot

The only reason he's in the game is because melee added a bunch of clones to have more characters. But whit each new game those clones became less similar to their original character. But doc is still way to similar to mario and he's a character that no ones really cares about.

It could be an Echo of the final fighter, like a two for one deal. An example I'm thinking would be Scorpion and Sub Zero, they are not carbon copies but are close enough that small changes could be made that would still keep them as Echos. Another possibility could be Sora with either Roxas or Riku, or some other pair that players would know.
You know I realized that there really weren't any standalone stage dlc like in smash 4.
So the stage dlc theory has potential to be true. And if that's so, then I seriously want Pac Maze back.

If it's a bonus character, I think it could be Waluigi. Saving Waluigi for the final reveal would be an epic way to finish off the Smash roster, given how highly requested and memed he was, and he would really give off the feeling of "Everyone is Here."

now you mention it, that would make the most sense with what i found, as i found a reference to a Japanese page for a character labeled as cero (which translates to zero) so it could be a megaman echo (i was digging in the code and finding things)

@@Fooza05 as someone who has mega man as a main, im not opposed, I have about 8 fighters I count as mains, as I have tons of combos for them, each character at a different level, but he is top 5, getting it to look like zero would have me playing him asap (if I owned a copy, or even a switch)
Imagine Sakurai is sitting on his couch and he is like alright guys thats it for DLC...And then you hear outside his Window: "WHAT I AM TOO GOOD FOR SMASH OR WHAT?!" Sakurai looks at the camera and is like what is that? Then he looks out the Window and he sees Crash Bandicoot on the megaphone yelling at him to let him in Smash. Sakurai looks back at the camera and says eh why not?

A possibility I thought of that I'd lose my mind over but I don't think will happen is if the last fighter is revealed to be Dante but they also reveal that we're getting Nero or Vergil alongside him, which would result in the additional fighter slot. Though that'd probably make some people really upset and I can understand that, as a DMC fan I feel it'd be a cool way to end the fighter's pass. I've been wanting some DMC representation in Smash in some form or fashion for so long, and given that all three of these characters are the faces of the franchise now, I cannot think of a more fitting outcome for the descendants of Sparda. I still look forward to whatever characters we get regardless and cannot wait to see what happens next.
I do hope there are four more characters after this DLC pack, just because I want the roster to be a complete rectangle.
I honestly think that Waluigi needs his own game where he’s the main character before he can be a playable character in super smash brothers and Nintendo should make said hypothetical game considering how much fan demand there is for the character

The thing is the when Smash 4 started introducing DLC characters in Smash, we didn't get a thank you special chacaters for buying our Smash prevoius characters. Instead we got thank you bounus in the form of returning stages like Dream Land from Smash 64 and Pirate Ship from Brawl. So I think we might get returning stages that could be PokeFlots, Orbital Gate Assault & Wooly World (which fit the last 3 slots).
The other non returning stages Pyrosphere, Miiverse, Brinstar and Sector Z aren't retruning becuase Pyrosphere had Ridley as a stage boss and now his a playable character and it'll be odd seeing them both on the same stage, Miiverse showed case drawings from the app miiverse on the stage and because miiverse isn't on the Switch there's no way to show the drawings and Brinstar & Sector Z has 2 similar stages in Ultimate being Brinstar Melee & Corneria.
while i'd love to believe this, i do find it difficult only in the fact that Sakurai did make the big deal of Fighters' Pass 2 having an extra (sixth) fighter. i think if there were going to be two extra fighters, he would've announced that when he'd announced Fighters' Pass 2. i don't think it's impossible for Sakurai to have decided to add another fighter after the initial announcement and i don't know enough about game development to know if it's feasible on that end, but i would like this to be true. i just have my doubts. if this is another fighter, i think it might be a free fighter only available to ppl who bought both fighters' passes/all 11 paid dlc fighters. that's just what would make sense to me given the information we have now. a stage pack or even just one extra dlc stage would also make sense. smash 4 had quite a few dlc stages that weren't included with dlc fighters but were just for fun. i'd love that. and honestly, what i'd be hoping for the most would be that every stage in smash history that didn't make the original cut would finally be included. i mean, i really don't understand why they didn't include every stage. give me pokéfloats in hd!!!
but who knows, we might just be nintendo fans reading too much into stuff and hoping for the best.
