12:41 Ah, I am so happy to see that the Minas Tirith gangways will have supporting arches under them! It makes them look a bit more realistic and also, frankly helps break up the abundance of straight angles.

I can see why GW sent you so much plastic; they couldn't possibly show off what can be done with their kits better than giving them the Zorpazorp treatment! So many people are going to be inspired by this.

Would the scale of this terrain kit work well for Warhammer? Look fine to me, but it’s hard to be sure without a miniature or a banana for comparison.

I have been reading about and watching building of wargame terrain since the 1970s and I have watched all of your builds and they are just staggering. When all of this is set up it is going to provide some of THE most epic games ever. CVarry o doing what you do you totally insane ****! LOL!
Each time I see whittling away sprue joins with an xacto-knife I'm thinking "somebody buy this man a Dremel!" Huge time saver.
Since witnessing your calth recordings in WHW against broadsword in person, I'm glad I subscribed, these mega builds have been a wonderful adventure of nostalgia.
Looking awesome. I have been wanting to build something exactly like this using the old Cities of Death Imperial Sector kits for 40K for ages. Can't wait to see how you paint it all up.

Do you actually clean mold lines on all of this stuff? That's the worst part for me, lately I'm just skipping this step. Any advice on how to speed it up?

That's really generous of GW. I don't typically think of them as such, but this quite nice.
This is an epic video and series but it loses its shine given how impossible it is to actually buy the Gondor Mansion since it's been out of stock for months without new inventory. GW overplayed their hand here.

This bring back fond memories of playing return of the king on the old ps2. God i would adore a witcher or kingdom come deliverance style game in middle earth
They really knocked it out of the park with these kits.
I can't help but think they learned a lot from the recent spate of LotR and 40k modular kits and where they worked and didn't.

what is your preference regarding stairs? wide enough to hold a model with a base. steep enough to hold a model on an angle?
Realistic looking flights, but lots of platforms between them :)

Tutorial style mini painting isn't this channel's jam anymore, I used too many moons ago but the algorithm has shifted away from that. Ironic as I'm a much better painter now haha

Looking incredible, and amazingly designed sets. I have to say I love the improvements to the gangways, the arches make them look so much more middle earth than just straight walkways which seem much more 'modern' and 40k. The two buildings joined together quickly jumped to my favourite!

Have a question about the Gondorian mansion, how is a Cadian shock trooper in scale? I want to use 2/3 kits to build and ancient Roman house for a 40K board
I odn't have one to haand, all my guard are back in Aus, but my gut feeling would be the mansion might feel to small. they would work for space MArines because it doens't matter if MArines look bigger than human dwellings and Marines are underscaled as they are anyway, but guard it might not sell?
@@Zorpazorp ah that’s ok, i mainly play marines, but wanted to make it as a residential building for citizens with some markets on the floor level so I was curious if it could make sense as a building for normal humans, probably going to double the height of every floor
