Anyway, I said all that to say that your song "Scarred" blew me away. I am not a Rap Music Fan. I'm an old hippie, so Rap is just not my cup of tea. But that song touched my soul Man. It's like you wrote a song about me. For the first time, I didn't turn the video off and cringe, because "EW, Rap Music!!" I listened to the whole song and it was great. Brought a little tear to my eye, but no waterworks so all is well. You did it. You did what my kids and grandkids never thought possible. You made me really like a Rap Song. Feel that. big fan of the reactions, and I mean no disrespect your vocals need to be mixed more into the midrange. Not sure what Mic youre using but something softer will suit your voice in the verses. A LDC or whatever is being used isnt the best choice. Great flow, great track, but pick a different mic or perhaps run it through something that adds more warmth.
