I was a tour bus driver on this tour driving for wharfedale based in leeds, we had 6 buses on the tour and went all round Europe, it took 10 weeks

Plus the added "Live 4 Luv" breakdowns and peep how much he sounds like Brian May on guitar during that part.....fire!!!!!
After about 23 minutes, Prince went into a solo guitar performance.
I thought he was going to play Queen’s ‘Keep Yourself Alive’.
Also played a short piece that was in the style of the former Deep Purple guitarist Ritchie Blackmore.
More evidence of how skilled a guitarist he was.
Some of the filming had a guy on the left with his head in the way - very inconsiderate!
Mind you, he paid to see Prince and I didn’t!

Best artist of all times ! I was at this show amazing he played lots of his hits and played several instruments, I couldn’t believe when he sang Beautiful Ones on of my all time favorites, not to say I followed him over the world and saw him over 9 times

J'ai assisté à tous les concerts à Paris Bercy c'était génial comme d'habitude et l'ont avait adoré la "surprise" Mayté pour ouvrir le show ( la première fois évidemment après....) et c'était déjà bien à l'époque de trouver des vidéos comme cela ça faisait notre bonheur 🤪 et il y en a un paquet 😅. C'est sur que maintenant avec le matériel les p'tits jeunes ont de quoi faire 😉 tout une époque 🙏 de toute façon K7, VHS, CD, Blu-ray, PRINCE reste le meilleur 💜☮️💜🕊️.

He had just dropped Tony, Damon, and Kirk from the group. You notice he dropped songs like "Gett Off", The Max, and anything with a lotta Tony M rap verses off the setlist. I gotta say that ACT I was WAAAYYY better because he did songs from the "Love Symbol" on the first half of the tour. But it was cool to see and hear him do songs he hadn't done in years. Some of em he hadn't performed since the Revolution days.
Best decision ever, if you ask me. I never liked tony M. The quality of the concert is all the better for it :)

@@CL--Community oh, too bad, must of been a man that edited scandals out, that is my favorite on this tour with his skit and all, he usually gets into that song and we thank him for that. Seriously thank for all you do for the purple love ones.
Another thing to remember is that this is 1993 -- this is when getting caught recording a concert had severe legal consequences. Fans were lucky to get what they could before the cellphone era of entertainment.

So was the act 1 Sonny T's first tour or did he join during the Diamods and Pearls era ( i don't think there was an actual full tour for that)? Im just saying every bit of live footage that I have seen/ heard with him in the band, the bass is fuckin absolutely killing. Hard! Plus the mix is bass is usually bass heavy which helps 😊. Ive read Prince and other people from the early Minneapolis music scene always mention and praise his skills, I guess he's a couple years older than Prince and the rest of that crew and was like a total local mentor/ idol to them. And I used to think 'who the f would have been a mentor to Prince?? This havs got to be BS' but im starting to believe it could have been possible after listening to ACTs 1 and 2 bootlegs. Man, no one will ever come close to Prince and all the bands he put together. "Real music played by real musicians" Damn fuckin straight!!! Sorry for swearing so much, something im working on personally, but great music gets me fired up!!!

I LOVED it. When I was 8 rows from the front of the stage at the July 31st Wembley Stadium concert I was thinking "hang on a minute, why's Prince not in heels?".....I was still fooled 😂

@@WondersChannelI was at that concert too. Prince was being played on the tube on the way there.. And yes, the cheer when he came on in that hat with the chains.. Then it wasn't him... The even bigger cheer when he actually came on stage. We were all fooled and it was amazing. Thanks for posting!

Where are the Game Boyz?
They were no longer members of the NPG during the Act II shows. They guested on stage during the very last concert of the tour in London though (and the aftershow that followed which was filmed and released on VHS)
