Hi Liz! I am very near sighted too. I have worn magnifying glasses with a light for years. They also help when I work on my counted cross stitch. I have had a large lighted magnifier that has a floor stand which I also use for cross stitch but it doesn’t work for diamond painting. I have a clamp on version too…you are so right…not easy to use sometimes when you have to move it. I have only one place it can clamp to and the light isn’t great. I will definitely check this one out as having a table stand would make this much easier to use. Thanks for showing us your cool find! 🥰💎🔍

Liz that looks great I always use a clip on magnify light for my diamond paintings and I use a smaller clip on magnify glass when I'm cross stitching. That looks a really good one I'm impressed with that. Thanks for showing us x

I decided to buy this yesterday and wanted to see if there were reviews. It has arrived, and i set it up with the clamp. Nice fitting and sturdy. It's way better than my other one, but the area we see through is actually smaller than it looks. We need to look through the middle area. I love the different light settings on it. I was struggling more with my diamond painting recently, so hopefully, this will make it easier to see with my complex eyes. Thank you for demonstrating this magnifying light, and i look forward to seeing you diamond paint with it. X

I use magnifying glasses but one pair I have are a bit heavy. I’m long sighted and my arms aren’t long enough anymore to see what I’m doing! 🤣 My Nan used to have to stand up to read the newspaper etc before she got glasses and it seems I’m heading the same way. 🤣 My niece is learning to drive and wants me to diamond paint something for her car and I remembered the arm rest that you showed the other day. She hasn’t got the storage compartment between the seats where it’s meant to go, but we’re hoping it can be put on the sun visors. I'll let you know when it gets here and we have a play about with it. x
I had some glasses but they hurt my nose , and were heavy. Thay really made me laugh about your nan 😂 . The armrest would be great on the visor . Could you do her a suncatcher or keyring to hand from the mirror 💎🥰💎🥰
@@pauliz2002 I’ve ordered a couple of sets of keyrings so she can hang one of them from her mirror. I was thinking of a sun catcher but was worried about it dazzling her and causing an accident. Yeah my Nan used to blow my mind with her “party trick” 😂 x
I have been using one similar to this for over a year and I put a weight on the base to prevent it from tipping. I use a stout wide candle in a glass container.

You might be able to use the clamp part on the edge of your table and the corner of the stand to hold it down to keep it from tipping. 🩷🩷🩷
