- Join us for a short Crappie Fishing trip in todays video to Lake Lochloosa, Florida. It was so cold we actually wanted to go home!!! We caught just enough for a delicious meal and had a fun morning together. Life is good.

Years ago we went fishing with my mother and stepdad. It was probably in the teens and my husband, momand stepdad fished just about all night off of the lighted dock catching crappie. I had to stay at the campsite with the kids near a fire.

Been fishing that lake for over 50yrs. Great bass lake as well. LITTLE Orange lake did well this year, but the specs did not seem to really bite anywhere great.

I live on Lake Seminole in Georgia. It is in Georgia and Florida and I think Alabama. It was not a lake when I was a child.

No such thing as too cold for crappie.my best winter spot gets good under 20degrees and bite best at night
