Really a great track guide guiding through every detail in terms of braking points, line and kerbs.
I’m playing for a few weeks now and just hit a 1:58.3 with the BMW and I hope that I can hit a 1:55 soon.
But honestly you are an absolute Alien the way you brake while already turning into a corner is unreal.
And put your setups in the description the next time
Really appreciate the in depth guide Luke, kinda wish I’d found it at the start of last week for SGS proving grounds at Nurburgring 😅
One thing that stands out massively is how quick you’re able to get on full gas exiting turns, i haven’t actually tried yet (will give it a go tonight) but pretty sure I’ll loose the back end trying to exit in this way. I’m playing on ps5 with TM T150 Pro using Coach Dave setup, I should be able to replicate your technique right?
First ever track guide I have ever watched that tells you to adjust braking point depending on previous exit well done mate, excellent job new sub here look forward to more content,
Thank you for noticing! I do try to break stuff down in a way that makes sense when you think about it. Racing cars isn’t doing the exact same thing every lap, you have to adapt to what happens. I try to show the optimum way but also make people away that little mistakes happen so here’s how to adjust. Thanks again!
Also this is the first trackguide (for me) that I see talking about the Pit entry!
Best McLaren specific guide I've found and i feel sure that my lap even with the horrible flu is going to improve. Was wondering about the braking here, Kyalami and Zandvoort 😂. Congratulations.
Hey great vid and awesome tips! I have had a PB of 1.53.95 for the longest time today i tried your way of attacking this track and set a 1.53.5 after 15 laps.
The big thing that i made most of the time is how early u go on full power im still not there going full power that early but i will start to attack the tracks differently after your vid!
Thank‘s Luke! I hope I can use some of these markers for the Porsche. If I can get under 1:54 I’ll let you know. Btw nice and relaxed voice 😁✌🏼
Thank you my dude! Best of luck with your laps! Let me know if you do it!
See you on AOR mate. Sign-up everyone
Thanks mate. I just found your channel. Good info. Do you have a setup for the 720 on the nurburgring?
Sik vids! Super helpful! Keep bringing it!
Thanks! Will do!
There is no way you can ride these kerbs and brake at some of these points without a setup. What setup did you use?
I´m stuck in 55.3 will try your lines but it seems impossible to me to go full throttle so early 😓 Thanks for the guide!
Keep at it mate, it takes hours to get it right with lots of wrongs on the way!
My ps is 1:57, thanks for the guide. I’ll see if I can at least get 1:55 by tonight
Best of luck! I hope you find the missing time! :D
Amazing Thanks 💪🙏
my laptime is already in 1:58, will edit later with your references ;)
what should i do if a car in front is obstructing my brake marker? should i just take a wild guess or just brake alot earlier?
Brake a bit earlier than the marker depending on how close the car in front is and a good tip is to try not follow directly behind leading up to the braking point so you can spot it and see it when you’re almost there to guesstimate how far you are from it since it’ll be blocked when you get there
thanks !
