Honestly it just makes sense for the prophecy to happen in secret wars
The idea that Wanda might conquer the universe to prevent someone worse doing it got me imagining the practical consequences. Some day out of nowhere the entire universe gets a video/hologram message of Wanda just lounging in front of a camera:
"Hey, I'm the Scarlet Witch, also known as Wanda Maximoff, an Avenger of Earth. So... I basically rule the universe now. You don't have to do anything, don't worry about it. I mean well, I like you guys, just try not to start too many wars... I guess? K see ya." [click]

Yeah, rewatched MoM the other day and it definitely seems that prophecy will come into play in the future. They’re totally setting her up to be the deus ex machina against Kang.
I'd love to see that, maybe she'll do a house of m thing by saying, no more kang the conquerors in the multiverse..
I mean they don’t specifically write that type of character “prophecy” & statements multiple times in the film, show comics lore of Mt Wondergore or name drop Chthon and then put Wanda on the sidelines for it not to play massively into the story later!
It’s like the Infinity Saga watching the stones pop up & then Thanos never acquiring them🤔

Okay but let’s not say all of creation. She’s fated to rule or annihilate the cosmos, more related to the nine realms of Earth 616. The cosmos is not all of creation. Her power has multiversal implications, but it’s not the same thing as all creation. But still, she’s far more powerful than Kang. In the comics he tried to banish her from reality and her power made his rebound and he ended up banishing himself.
I don't think the nine realms are the entire universe, but ok. Cosmos: "the universe seen as a well-ordered whole". However despite the prohecy Wong tells us, Wanda says, "I was meant to rule everything...".

Wanda can't erase Kang from existence, the characters like Eternity or Living Trubinal have powers like that, Wanda is just a witch who can change reality and I believe Kang have some tech that immune to reality manipulation

Also, how can technology be immune to reality warping? The most powerful power in the history of powers? And that too of the most powerful reality warper ever? No sort of technology can be immune to magic.

The only way to beat Kang would be to erase the multiverse and start over. He'll be forever be in control no matter what. He has already start to use Hell Lords to give pain to the "new avengers". Kang has a lot of cards in his hands and it'll be interresting where this is going! Can't wait for QuantumMania for him to become even more powerfull!

I think this leak about the Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars isn’t the full truth. Kang will conquer 616, but the movie wont end there. The leak about Secret Wars is just the second half of Kang Dynasty. It will end with Wanda accidentally destroying the multiverse in her fight against Kang. Then we’ll get Secret Wars in the aftermath.

Wanda can definitely NOT defeat Kang single handedly. Nowhere in comic books history has Wanda ever possessed abilities to conquer or destroy entire timelines past, present and future all at once. So unless she’s all of the sudden as powerful as Eternity or The Beyonder, which she’s NOT, she can never truly defeat Kang. Impossible
Tbh it’s possible, in the comics, kang’s afraid of her. Plus she may not possess such abilities in the comics YET(considering she has a new and more powerful version, goddess of chaos) but she has performed a feat that has affected the entire multiverse. wanda is way more powerful than kang. also, i don’t know why were putting the beyonder in the equation because kang is way weaker than the beyonder himself. wanda has beat the in-betweener while injured and note: the in-betweener stalemates galactus who is far above odin. wanda also has the power to summon the life force due to the fact she is a nexus being of mystical energy in the entirety of the marvel multiverse. with the life force, she was able to depower mutants across the multiverse and damaged space-time to the point she unintentionally unleashed a chaos wave that swept throughout the multiverse and imbuing her magic everywhere. also if strange had reversed her spell, her magic would implode every reality which have their own separate timelines and continuums. so wanda does definitely beat kang especially if she already beat him herself

Wanda would and could kill one or two Kangs, but when one Kang dies, his subconscious going into another Kang, who will come for Wanda knowing EVERYTHING she will or is about to do and with technology thousands of years in the future. Plus, Kang has killed Wanda multiple times in the comics this similar way. In fact he’s trapped her in a comatose where she was helpless for months and could kill her anytime he wanted. Stop it. If logic was real in comics then Kang would be one of the top 15-10 most powerful beings in all of Marvel hands down because he’s all but unbeatable.

being the true darkhold, she absorbed chthon, the elder god of chaos stated to be capable of destroying hundreds of dimensions with one howl, his own presence not even at his prime was stated to be a cancer to eternity himself. also note these marvel elder gods could amplify someone to the point where they could stalemate a multiversal-eating god (the chaos king)
not to mention, she also one shot phoenix amped magik, namor, and her magic shocked cyclops when he attempted to lay a hand on her. she also fought a literal cosmic entity (chaos) and could defend herself from its attacks which is a low complex multiversal feat. she also stated that she would be able to perform HoM again, the same event that wiped out mutants + realities & dimensions (basically the marvel omniverse). wanda also beat another nexus being who was a variant of her, Lore who had the power of many nexus beings she absorbed, by casting a spell that would only allow one nexus being in her universe. also she quite literally slowed down time with her mind and stopped thor from speed blitzing her. also could withstand an attack from doctor doom, one shotting him as well, and summoned dormammu in strange’s mind. wanda’s probability manipulation is also unparalleled as she literally disarmed a field of non causality with was meant to block her hex bolts.
wanda has one shot kang with a hex, disrupted his forcefields, and even immortus, one of the superior variants of kang was very impressed by her power as well as scared of it, he needed to use her until she overpowered his control afterwards. i do agree kang could beat her because of technology, intelligence, and his ability to see the future (which wanda can also do as well via witches sight), but wanda has the upper advantage against him via haxes, abilities, scaling, feats, infinite knowledge via darkhold, powers, and attack potency.
