Why is a Clearway even considered. The option I want doesn't exist. The staff are yet again being devious with this consultation process as their objective is pushing for a Clear way as it's the cheapest option. Having made a submission on the motorway in the words of Council staff they will "sweat the assets" . As usual this road has been broken up in sections. It's all about "meeting obligations not what is successful outcome for the Community! The bus T 2 option should be from Bealey Ave to the roundabout on Cranford Street. You want to get traffic down there should be a congestion charge at peak ours and make Buses and T2 lane a priority over single occupancy cars. I have ZERO faith in the traffic planning in the city! Especially with the staff hiding the safety audit as a draft of Cranford Street cycle lane the staff DID NOT follow the recommendations of the safety Auditor I tabled this "Draft" at a Community Board meeting only for the Board not to be aware of this report. I said it warranted immediate attention. That was on the Board Meeting on the Thursday a person was seriously injured out side the Service Station on the cycle lane. With the injured cyclist take away by Ambulance! At the Board meeting I asked to speak to staff about this. I am still waiting ! So I find the staff disingenuous with using safety to push the staff agenda for clear-ways to quickly clear traffic!
