Amazing and realistic explanation of how you can spend a great week in Croatia and not spend a fortune. As a Dubrovnik citizen , I thank you and hope you come back!
Lets face it - you cannot see anything in 7 days stay in Croatia. You are missing Blue Cave, Plitvice Lakes, Šibenik Old Town, Zadar, Pula, Rovinj, Trogir, Zagreb, Slavonia region... And in terms of food you are missing out on so many delicacies, like black risotto, brudet, sarma, čobanac, zagorski štrukli and so many more tasty stuff... Also, Croatia is popular by its wines, which you didn't even tried yet! You definitely should come back and try at least something from the lost above. Then you can actually tell you've seen and experienced Croatia.

Just to let you guys know, as a follower since your 🇲🇾 days , enjoyed this Croatian series. Truly beautiful. Thank you for showing us. Stay well Steve + Ivana❤
Your video really makes me want to visit Croatia! 😮 Love the video and happy to see you both in great form and excellent health; Ivana is simply glowing! 🤗
I have spent several months in Croatia and that is expensive. Dubrovnik is very expensive, even at the beginning of the season. May and September used to be called "shoulder" months, but there seems to be a push to extend the tourist season as much as possible. Last October Split was packed with cruise ship crowds, unfortunately. If you return, check out Zadar, Zagreb and the Istrian area. I love Croatia and I am glad you had an enjoyable time!
You are right, every beach in Croatia is public. There is no legal way to own one. But there are few towns on the coast where you must pay to use some beaches and profit is collected by the city
I am glad that you had a great time and that you enjoyed Croatia, great review, high-quality recordings. Perhaps you should have visited the Plitvice Lakes National Nature Park, definitely one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful, nature park in Europe. Thank you, many greetings and may God bless you and may your pregnancy go well and give you a healthy child and enjoy parenthood.
Croatia got much more expensive lately ,especially in the season to the point is now more expensive then Italy.Dubrovnik was Always expensive, I been there and during Yugoslavia in 80s and was expensive even back then. You should visit Istra . Pula ,Rovinja ,Opatija ..all beautiful small cites
@@senyor_artemis anywhere outside major tourist traps SHOULD be much more affordable. Example, we were in Sibenik old town center month ago and pizza was about 15-18 euros, while same pizza in coastal village of Srima 15 mins drive from Sibenik, was 7-9 euros.
@@kotezanac43l Hahaha, what? Croatia had a record season last year. Maybe you didn not see them in Karin or wherever you habituate when you come to Croatia.
I'm going to Croatia next week for 16 days and I was wondering how many Euros I would need for 16 days. Our accommodations, for the most part and our vehicle, have already been fully paid, so it would just be spending and meals. 😊
Staying in Dubrovnik Heights, makes your stay also much cheaper. Dubrovnik Heights is 8 km away from old town Dubrovnik. The catch with Dubrovnik Heights is becouse it is in Bosnia and Hercegovina 🇧🇦
That’s very good price you spend in one week… 👍🏽. Was it airbnb in Dubrovnik ? Where you find those guest house ? Those apartments looks perfect…. I am planning to go Croatia in September.
The "sobe" culture is great. Gives you the option of getting good deals without pre-booking and just looking for the signs and you don't have to pre-book. Lovely country and you can largely thank the Germans for the ease of good tourism in the country. They kept the tourism going during ethnological conflicts.
You probably know much, much better. It hasn't been horribly long since I last visited Croatia. Then again anything pre-Covid was years ago and heavily hit the tourism. Stayed in a randomly found cool hotels twice. Otherwise knock-on-door sobe and one from a classic lady at the bus station. Was way after finding accomm from the Internet was possible. Complete different nowadays of course.
Croatia is amaizing place on Earth its sooo small but sooo amaizing different in every part you go.so 1 week you don't see enything. Croatia is changing and People too but not good . Before people belive in God and they are united in heart today I can say gays and money ,Godless and easy way destroy unique life in Croatia . Politics is catastrophic and search for American way of emptiness is going thru the wall.

Yeah, you need at least three months to get a feel for the place.
Hey, We want to go to Croatia but, we don’t have a driver license. Is this a issue you think? Also, any nice places? We love the sea. Thanks!

You cannot rent a car without a drivers license no matter where you go.
Any foreign drivers license is OK in Croatia or anywhere else.

It’s funny as since you left it’s been outrageous weather here in Finland, like almost too much sun, balmy 21-24C

I have to correct you, it's not the Ocean it's the sea. In your previous videos you also mentioned Adriatic sea as ocean
Yeah, I tend to use ocean and sea interchangeably. It's wrong. But I tend to do that... sorry
JLW x Excel Spreadsheets 😊
Expensive for Balkan, but not sooo much. Tnx for the video ❤❤❤
if it's not expensive for non bakans, then where are they in 7. or 8. month.last year beaches are half empty.i was there for a whole month
Dubrovnik is EXTREMELY expensive now....those are Switzerland prices and that is insane.

Air bnb and booking.com

Re the Germans. You can add Austrians and Slovenians to that lists too.
How was the driving there overall? Strange road rules, aggressive drivers, difficult to park places?
Not at all. It was very easy and convenient

Yeah. And the country is jam packed in july and august. But, tourists don't go there in july and august. Such a strange phenomenon
I know a british couple they have been coming to Croatia for 15 years and they say there is still something else to see . 😂😂😂😂
Singapore is cheeper in some things than Dubrovnik
Probably, but at least you chew gum in Dubrovnik with the fear of being arrested!
I am a poor youtuber so I usually stay in hostels, they are good craic even though I am 57 year old fart 😂
Let me give you a pro tip. Croatia does not have access to any of the world oceans.
1240e for 2 people for ONE WEEK !!!
Is VERY VERY greedy from the locals.
Yeah, we should be cheap just because you say so.
more like you VERY VERY stingy
If something is expensive that only means you don't have enough money 😂😂
