I purchased this 06 Altima as a project car for my son several months before he got his license to drive. The motor and trans were sound, but it needed a lot of work to become road worthy. Over the months leading up to him getting a license I chipped away at it. He has been driving it the last 6 years. It now has 206,000 miles and the motor still purrs, never has leaked or used oil. Of course, it helps having a dad as a retired auto mechanic.

@@richardspaulding5035 That makes more sense now. Learn on the Altima to earn the Honda.

As I mentioned in the video, I wanted to film the entire job. However, it is getting more and more difficult to come up with content that has not been covered. In this case there were many videos on this job, so I decided not to film it. As I got into it, I realized my viewers might benefit from some of tricks I have learned over the years. Thanks for watching and posting.

LOL. You found that amusing I take it. That steel tube was exactly in the way. I was more than a little aggravated until I realized I could slip it out and up out of the way.
