Dan sounds like he’s reading a hostage statement translated from Chinese to English 😂
Right?! It's soooo bad!!! 🤣
Really appreciate your review. I saw this advertised in the Kickstarter campaign, and I was really excited to buy this because it was so sleek and beautiful. But I would be aggravated even though I’m just a hobbyist, if I had bought that and it couldn’t do what I wanted it to do.
I wish I could get my hands on one for a hands on. But I wouldn't be able to justify spending even $150 to just have it sit there afterwards. Unfortunately, from the Kickstarter, this press seems like just pretty bells and whistles. Have you seen the HTVRont press? It's simple and works fairly well as a hobbyist press.
There has been NO updates on this Maker Bliss which was supposed to be shipped out this month.
That's so unfortunate 😔 I've been reading the comments, and many people are reporting it or asking for chargebacks. It's so frustrating because, from what I've read, Kickstarter does anything possible to prevent the chargebacks from going through. It is however a risk, like any other investment. I really do hope everyone can get their money back. At least some of it
Saw this on kickstarter, was suppose to get delivery July 2023, well July has come and gone and still no heat press. I agree this was a total scam, would have loved to get the press, not only did I do the money for the kickstart but paid for shipping as well, still no press. Very disappointed, now they are advertising it for $129.00, wonder if those that buy it will ever see their heat press.
Dang I'm so sorry to hear. Unfortunately so many people got scammed with this press. I honestly would have backed it if I didn't see so many design flaws
No handle for the pull out drawer. Also if the remote doesn't seem to control the pull out drawer. Auto is cool, but an auto pullout drawer added would better. Also agree with your comment on auto pressure for different garments and materials. It's not somwthing I would buy, thank for the vid Neko.
The design on this press is horrible. I wish they would stop trying to make "futuristic" type of machines and stick to improving the basics.
I’m in on it but for the price, it will be perfect for a comic press. That’s what I intend to use it for. My manual press is large and bulky and will be glad to get rid of it.
What's a comic press?
@@NekoPrints sorry, just saw your reply. Before sending comics for grading, older comics can be pressed to remove creases and bends. It helps restore the comic and gets a better grade.
And here we are 2 months later than this video and we've heard nothing! I mentioned the clearance early on in the campaign, got a generic answer. I personally strongly suggested they fix this flaw before production, but nothing. I definitely dont see this as a "workhorse", just hoping to get it for hobbies...I guess we'll see what happens in July 🤷♀️
We'll see how it goes in July. Unfortunately, they stopped updating since March. This press honestly doesn't even look like a good hobby press in my opinion.
curious but I noticed it didn't start heating up until after the drawer was pushed in and it took 4.21 minutes before the platinum came down and started pressing all the while the substrate was 1" from the platinum. what is your pro/con on this?
one good feature the time can be manually set between 10 to 600 seconds.
Honestly I'm not sure. It's just a demo Video so it could just be a prototype maybe? If that is the case though then it really wouldn't be much help in getting a lot of shirts printed in a short amount of time. As for the time, the most ive ever used has been 2 minutes to heat up the bottom platen
There needs to be space between the platens and the back wall for necklines
Agreed, this press has a horrible design
There is still no updates since 3/30.
Really?! I haven't kept up but I'll look into it!
@@NekoPrints Yes, they've disappeared and are not answering any requests for info. This may be a scam after all.
I got the htvront and its crao, not enough pressure at all, i always have a hard time vinyl sticking and sublimation on wood coasters does not have enough pressure maybe 1 out of 5 turns out the others are patchy and adding extra padding makes it worse.
I think the same goes for all these auto press machines they can not provide enough pressure and id assume for them to allow us to set more pressure it would need to have way more parts to it... wouldn't it need hydrolics of some kind?
I even tried they auto mig oress machines...3 totally different ones and all are crap
Honestly it can use the same system it has to add more pressure. All it has to do is press down more. Companies are trying to reinvent the wheel without proper R&D testing. The htvront I use for sublimation on shirts and DTF and it's been good so far surprisingly. With vinyl and screen print transfers i have issues. But it's more of a "hobby" press to me. Not a workhorse. Now the maker bliss I think is just flat out garbage and a horrible design
No handle on the platen. How do you grab without getting burned?
Good eye!! I didn't even think about that. I saw they kept grabbing the sides but didn't realize there wasn't a handle. I'm guessing the sides are heat resistant? I reaaaaally hope so lol
The slide out tray needs a handle lol you are having to grap the tray at the side
🤣🤣 That's what they did in the video!!!! It's so dumb! I'm sure they'll say it doesn't get hot. But screw that!!
It's a good thing you had a generally negative view of the project, as it looks like the whole thing was a scam, and they've run away with everyone's hard earned money.
There's been no update since March. We'll see what happens in July. Honestly, the guy speaking at the end did it for me. He had no passion or even seemed to care about the project.
Apparently this product was a scam (not the video). Hasn't been any updates since mid 2023, and no backers have received their orders.
I appreciate you watching! And yes, unfortunately, that seems to be the case, and Kickstarter isn't doing much to help.
@@NekoPrints I appreciate the reply, and the video for sure. Especially your update on the issue. Almost $200 total loss really. That kinda hurts.
I wrote Kickstarter to see if they can get an update to no avail. Instead they copied and pasted one of the rules and told me to contact the creator. So now I'm wondering if Kickstarter is a scam site.
Kickstarter is in no way a scam site. They have legit projects on there, you just need to find the right ones. Unfortunately, I've read about scams on kickstarter like they happen on godundme. Unfortunately it's something we just have to be really careful with
I got mine yesterday to do the shipping part of it. This is my 2nd Kickstarter and there is so much less drama than the last one. Which was started by people of FB and the company.
This Kickstarter project turned out to be a scam. Kickstarter was alerted to this early on by backers. They will not return the backers money just kept their cut. There is no makerbliss heat press it was never created.
That seriously sucks. I honestly didn't think it was a scam when I first learned about it. It was very well put together. It's easy to see how people fell for it. I really hope the victims get their chargebacks approved. Did you join the back it?
You can't get away under it barely, hoodies wont make it underneath most likely. Weird size this definitely wasn't made by apparel decorating people auto pressure sucks👎🏽
Hoodies won't even be able to be pushed all the way back regardless of the size! Such a wasted opportunity unfortunately. It could have been made sooooo much better
@@NekoPrints I totally agree such a waste but its up to people like us. Something like this is just the beginning they need help from the apparel community
Agreed! I wanna partner up with a company to design one! 😅
@@NekoPrints i was betting you'd say that lol sounds like great idea
😅 Be on the lookout! Haha
Be glad you didn’t spend your money on this campaign……crickets chirping and no press!!!!😢
I've seen! It's so unfortunate that the makers have been so quiet about it. The whole project from the beginning looked shady to me. I hope everyone can get their money back.
Another kickstarter SCAM
Unfortunately that's what it turned out to be
It's just for sublimation no awards for this press. Not worth looking at, NEXT!!!
Such a lost opportunity! I really feel most of these auto presses are being built and designed just for looks rather than functionality. I want to design a press with functionality and cool looks 😁😎
But the htvront one was mainly for vinyl and it sucks
@@marklola12 yeah that I can agree. For vinyl it does suck
