I've recently discovered Civivi knives after collecting knives most of my life. Their price-point and quality caught my eye immediately. The Baklash is a popular model and I have it in Damascus as well, it is true Stainless Damascus, not etched or faked in any way, it's made from 9CR18MOV and 10CR18MOV polished Chinese stainless steel. The locking mechanism is called a "Liner Lock" as with most of Civivi's blades. I recently ordered the Civivi Conspirator in Nitro-V steel (very tough), that knife has a button lock, as with your other knife, and has "Ultum" scales, you should check it out! Just got my first real folding knife and it's the ebony wood one it's such a perfect knife the detent the size and weight is all perfect and I feel safer with a flipper with a liner lock
